I purchased an Extra large Dog Bed online after being recommended by this store. The cost of the bed was $100. It arrived in 5 days in a box. The problem arose from the material. It is flimsy and not durable. The bed was destroyed in less than 5 days. I requested a replacement so that I could have outer material replaced with something more durable. The customer service sucked. They indicated they sent a coupon but nothing was attached. Do not buy a pet bed from this place. I feel ripped off. read more

My partner and I like the mattress we purchased and had a good sales experience at the store, but the delivery experience was awful. We were told at the store that they would take a piece for every piece delivered, i.e. they would take our old mattress & boxspring when they dropped off the new ones. The delivery workers even asked if I wanted them to take the old items and I said yes, but they left the old items on our porch anyway. When I called the number provided by Mattress Firm the next morning to resolve the delivery issue, the woman who answered had no interest in helping me and rudely told me to call someone else. She then texted me on my phone to continue her rude behavior after I submitted a negative survey regarding my experience. Had the pickup simply been rescheduled then this would be a 5-star review, because the mattress we got is great quality for the price, but we will definitely be buying our next bed somewhere else after this experience. read more

Tonight was not my night for customer service. I go in to the store. I'm greeted very kindly. I saw a twin mattress that I wanted but it was a bit more in price then I want to pay so I asked if there was anything in a price range that I gave him. He said he'd have to look and wait a minute. Well I thought he was going to look but he made a B line to another customer that came in after me. I walked the store waiting for him to look it up but he was busy with the other customer. Sorry I didn't want to spend $200.00 on a mattress that will get used maybe twice in 10 years and the other customer of lighter persuasion was falling for your BS salesmanship. My boyfriend and I needed a new mattress and we went in not knowing what we were looking for. Sterling pointed us in the right direction with where to begin and let us do our own thing. When we had questions, he was there to help but it didn't feel overwhelming at all, how buying a mattress sometimes can! Once we decided our comfort level, he showed us the biggest bang for our buck and even helped us get a better deal than we were expecting, all to keep us in our price range. Just left this place. Wow. My husband bought a mattress and movable base last week. That went great! We were told that we had 120 or 190 days to change our mattress if we didn't like it (I can't remember). It's been a week. Not liking the mattress, so was coming in to exchange. We were even upgrading... But Wow... the two sales associates they had in there were definitely untrained. It was the blind leading the blind. The first Associate at least knew he didn't know what to do. But the other one was yelling, calling other stores to find out what to do. Taking other phone calls... We had to leave. We were not feeling comfortable working with either of these two... Starting to have buyers remorse... sold a lie... We'll try to see if other associates will be there so we can make this exchange. I wish we could say we bought a mattress but after our experience today we will NEVER step foot in that store again. The salesman was wayyyy too pushy. He literally made my skin crawl with the way he talked to us and other customers. Another nice new salesman was trying to help us and this other guy kept barreling him over. I had a great experience at this MF location. Needed a bed asap and I needed it delivered clear across town (denver) and the salesman made it happen! He also threw in free Delivery and a mattress protector. I was in and out within 30 mins. The Delivery men were fantastic ! They called beforehand and got my bed set up in literally 15 mins! They had great energy and really seemed to like their jobs! I had a great experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone! read more

I have bought several mattresses here, most recently I came back after about 2 years since I bought and returned a Tempur-pedic. Great service and i always get a great price. Talk to Jon, the manager. I should also note I went to another location prior to this one and the service was not nearly as good and I left without buying a mattress. Had a decent experience here. I knew going in that I would probably experience a lot of hard sale tactics and went in with an open mind and the need to get a bed the next day. Upon coming in, we were immediately approached by a salesman and got the typical breakdown + sales pitch + chit chat. We looked at a couple beds and he was very informative about what is best for younger vs older people etc. we settled on a bed and started going back and forth about pricing. I guess if I could have gone back, I would have done a lot of research about beds to see what I wanted and how I could communicate those needs in terms of pricing vs value. It's so important to ask the right questions about warranty, frames, shipping availability, SALES, etc. ALSO apparently if you check in on Yelp, you can get a free frame. Wish I would have done that. In the end I liked the service he gave and the mattress he showed us. Just waiting for it to arrive. He threw in free next day shipping which was nice. read more

I went here about a year ago and bought a queen sized mattress. I have meant to write a review since then. The manger of the place then was extremely nice and helpful. He didn't pressure me to buy super expensive mattresses or make me feel like I needed to buy a mattress. I really hope he is still working there. When I settled on the right mattress, he gave me such an amazing deal! To this day this mattress and reclining bed frame is the best investment I've ever made! My wife and I got one of their upper-end "memory foam" mattresses. The thing disintegrated within 30 days of getting it. We both "bottom out" on the bedsprings. And while I'm a bigger person, my wife certainly is not. Talked to the salesman. He said we had to wrap it up to bring it back to the warehouse. I go spend $25 and wait in line for an hour at U-Haul to get a resealable mattress bag. I bag it up and take it in. They then immediately cut the bag open with a knife, point at something and say that it's stained and they won't take it back. It was supposed to have a 10-year warranty for manufacturing defects, and it didn't last a month! The guy at the warehouse was an absolute ass, to boot. I pointed out that we had a 10-year manufacturer's warranty against defective construction, and that any stain that may have actually been there wouldn't have anything to do with that warranty. He told me to leave. (It got a little heated on both our parts at that point, admittedly). Wouldn't even tape up the bag they ripped open for us to haul it back. I can't say these guys are crooks and liars in a forum like this without having to be able to defend myself in a defamation lawsuit. No, I can't say that. ... But I'm certainly thinking it *very* loudly. read more

BED BUGS - Need I say more?! Within 10 days of purchasing what was suppose to be a brand new mattress and box spring from Mattress Firm in Aurora, BED BUGS had infested the bedroom. The next day, the exterminator inspecting the home found adult BED BUGS had infested the bedroom and had just begun laying eggs. While the infestation was limited still, the entire house had to be emptied and sprayed - twice, and we're still not sure they are gone. Response of Mattress Firm - called them and they hung up. Tried to return the mattress and box spring and was thrown out of the store. They did get the name on the phone call, but no call back. Store manager didn't even bother with that much when we tried to return it. After sending the reports to the credit card company, they refunded the purchase on the credit card. But that was the just the price of the mattress and box spring. I am finding out that BED BUGS are costly in a lot of ways! I've already spent over $2000 for spraying, plastic bins and trash bags, plus getting bitten by the BED BUGS, the emotional stress, inability to sleep, and missing work in order to pack up an entire house - and remove all cardboard - for spraying and the toxic spray itself, then drying all your clothes and linens, twice, then washing and drying them again to remove all BED BUGS, then going through every piece of paper, every book, every photo album, inspecting every single item for BED BUGS and EGGS before returning it to the home... take my advice and stay away, far far away from this store! read more

Zach Smith is the customer sales rep you want. He wasn't pushy and was highly informed on each product. We are very pleased with our mattress. I have extensive sales experience and know all the tricks when it comes to a quick, pushy sale. Zach did none of these. He simply allowed us to try out each mattress and gave us info on each one - there was no push. Don't forget that you need to negotiate in every sales situation. We got a great deal on a King Size mattress. Ask for Zach when you arrive. If I was still managing a sales department, I'd steal him away in a heart-beat. He's great and will make you feel good about your purchase when you leave. read more

There was a really great salesman who I didn't get his name. He had dreadlocks. Super informative and really nice. He was not pushy at all. We did not buy a mattress however, because their signage was misleading and downright ridiculous. Serta mattress that was $1400 on "clearance" for $899. Great! The sign read "Serta sunset queen sets only". So I had pretty much decided this was the one we were going to get. Call the guy over. NOPE. Apparently when they say "queen sets" (plural) they mean the floor model which was turning black because of how dirty it was. I said "that is not what the sign says". The other guy in the store (overweight guy) says "bring me the sign I'll change it". Ah. Well. That's not how you go about making a sale. We walked out. Got a better, cleaner mattress for a better price. Just so I am clear. Dreadlocks guy was awesome. Other guy? Not so much. He left a really terrible impression on me and I'll never be back to this Mattress Firm. read more

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! We walked in expecting to be bombarded and forced into making a decision. Instead we came into such an inviting atmosphere. DOUG was so professional, friendly, engaging, helpful, not pushy what so ever, everything we were not expecting from a Salesman. He was knowledgeable and he seemed like he really was genuinely interested in finding us the perfect fit. He would show us tips and then give us time to roam around and search for ourselves. Then when he would notice that we were completely lost, he would reset us by using his little tips, and let us go off again on her own. There was never a moment where we felt like he was going to pressure us into buying the bed right then and there. He gave us some price points and we wanted to go home to think about it. He completely understood! The next day we just knew we had to purchase all of this from Doug since he spent so much time helping us. And we could not be happier with our decision! It was the right price and it was definitely the right experience. Doug was able to find us a slot for delivery on the same day! We bought the bed at about 10 in the morning and it showed up at about 7 p.m. that same day! Even the delivery guys are amazing and professional. read more

I went in with My gf to buy A Brand new Mattress. We set our mind on a Bed. Now Idk if the Salesman thought. We were going to return the bed. He offered us a "better bed". Which was a Better model. I just wouldn't get my 120 Nights guaranteed. Mind you. This is to avoid the return. They postponed it 3-5 nights. After I moved. I've been sleeping on an air mattress. For 2 weeks now. This litteraly added another week. I have a bad back. They finally Delivered it and They delivered everything but the Mattress. I was then told I couldn't return the base. So they said they would reschedule again. So it has now been 3 weeks without a Bed. Word of advice don't let them upsell you. They're just trying to keep their Comission. This is absolutely ridiculous. They all blamed each Other. I think key here is there no communication whatsoever. All I got was a $200 discount which is nothing. These beds arent cheap. Monetary compensation is Nothing. With the Amount of stress I put on my back after moving. This litteraly meant nothing from the Salesman to the delivery people to the Area Manager. He tried to get me to pay for Delivery. What? Seriously After I got "free delivery." Do yourself a Favor. Avoid this store. At all costs. The inconvenience of this is outrageous and I can't even begin tho Fathom how They have their motto "where it's easy to get a great night's sleep." Thats a Lie. Because you can't even get your bed delivered. Never ever again. Buying a bed from these people. read more

The only reason this got 1 star is because Veronica was a pleasure to work with...we talked about the kind of pains I was having and she recommended what I should do...I found an 800$ mattress and right before I got ready to check out there were discounted mattresses against the wall from 40-70%off ..I even asked why the discount and was informed the were either floor models or older versions..I thought shoot who cares for that discount..I found a 1700.00 mattress for 500.00 I was assured they were clean and santizied..I felt extremely lucky ...I haven't even had for 24hours and now that it's home on top of a box spring this mattress has a sunken place in the middle ..even my 33lbs granddaughter rolled right to the middle..this is 1000000xs worst than what I had last night I got up at about 2am and slept on the couch.worst part is no exchanges .why would they even sell this..I have nowhere to put this but the trash ..so now here we are less than 24hrs later I'm out of 500.00 and still sleeping on the couch..and mattress firm thinks it's cool to sell this crap. read more
