I bought my 3rd bed in 5 years from mattress firm.2500 $ had it for a year.I have been in serious back pain.they gave me a discount. These are refurbished beds.My physical therapy Lady says so many people come from here and complain beds a junky and they are in serious pain.I am calling the better business bureau. And having them investigation. 3 strike's they are out.you will revert buying a bed at Mistress Firm.A 200 $ bed I bought 10 years ago was so much more better then these.looks good on the outside and sink in a year and slid off. They sold me a mattress for 1 thousands dollars and Donald was so nice said it's perfect being I had a bulging hernia. I had the bed 2 months sinking in and started getting serious pain. Went to orthopedic dr.had to get exrays and 300 $ for office visits and he said back is doing good it's the cheap mattress they make them look good on the outside I really believe it was refurbished. No new bed is going to do this.and I called back and I was constantly hung up on and I know it was Donald Because I spoke to a manager Stenio minute later and he said he was talking to Donald. They sell you cheap beds and when you're not happy they don't want to help you get a replacement .I called Tiffany the head of Peekskill Mattress Firm said she call me back asap get a email from her and says I will call you in 4 days 4 days no call. Purchased a mattress and everything went smooth.....the salesman said in order to figure out what we wanted he had us try out three different mattresses. The second one worked out perfectly. The order was shipped, no problems yet!! After around two weeks we noticed the mattress started to sink!! Till this day we wish that we kept our old mattress. The sales people are great. They are nice, courteous and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of mattresses for all budgets. Why the one star? Because their delivery people are truly awful. What good is choosing and purchasing the mattress when the originally scheduled delivery gets delayed by 4 days only for the second delivery to be hours late without notification, then to show up, look at the door then refuse to even attempt it? The delivery people even tried to get my wife to sign a refusal of delivery when they were the ones who refused to even attempt delivery. After the highly irritating back and forth with the delivery people over my wife's phone, I ultimately did end up refusing delivery. I hope to get my full refund in 3 days. I have already purchased a similar mattress from a competitor. I anticipate that this delivery will go much smoother. read more

The Mattress Firm in Mohegan Lake, NY is terrible! I tried to return a box spring and the salesman, Kevin Singleton, tried to convince me that I couldn't because I had taken in out of the plastic. I then called corporate and asked them if this was true. They said no and that they would talk to Kevin. When I spoke to corporate again, they informed me that Kevin had told them that he said to me that I could definitely return it. I called Kevin again confronted him about how he had lied to both me and corporate. He attempted to convince me that, although he did he tell me I couldn't return it, he had customers and didn't have time to further explain that I actually could return it. This makes no sense. Waited all Saturday during Memorial Day weekend for my delivery that was purchased on May 18th. When the delivery came one of the delivery men stated that the adjustable base we purchased with our mattress might not fit. He stated" I'm not here to do double work, so once I drop the frame that's where it Stays". I refused delivery and called the salesman and cancelled my order. I purchased a mattress, adjustable frame and a 10 year warranty for the frame with a vip set up service totaling over $4700. Guess business is that good that they treat their customers like garbage. Wasted two hours of my life looking at mattresses in the store and waited all day on Saturday only to end up with nothing. That's time I'll never get back!! read more

Salesperson very nice when I bought the mattress, mattress very comfy!! Delivery another story!! Was to be delivered on a Monday, never showed never called!! Finally mattresses were delivered the next day!! Delivery men broke door jam getting box spring into my bedroom, never set up the bed or took out the plastic wrap just dropped bed in room. Went to set up box spring all broken!! Drove over to Sleepy's salesmen (same one that sold me the mattresses) told me that they will pick up the box spring but can't give another one!! The box spring was on sale from their warehouse and they wouldn't be able to get another!! Waited for manager who came in next day, got me a new box spring and $100 credit!! Still waiting for my door jam to be repaired!! Not happy!! read more
