Went here on Sunday cause it's one of the few flooring places open on Sunday. We're doing a home renovation and ready to pull the trigger on a floor. I guess it's their slowest day so they staff an empty store with kids that are just itching to close and go home. I walked in, the kids said hello and continued to talk to each other. I looked around but no one approached me or talked about any sales going on. I walked out and ended up going to Floors & Decor in north Jersey and got a great deal! read more

I placed an order of seven boxes for Bellawood Brazilian Walnut 3/4x3-1/4 on February 21st of this year. Two weeks after went to the store to pick up my order. Because of the density of these floors I had to wait a month before I could have them installed. Now, fast forward to today April 1st, I am having the floors installed but unbeknownst to me four boxes are 5 inches wide NOT 3-1/4. I called the store that I placed my order at which is located on 400 Route 211 E in Middletown NY, and they are telling wrong bring back the four boxes to the store. That's impossible for me to do because the boxes are extremely heavy and one of my wrist is in a splint. I was also told that they only have three boxes of the correct size in stock. Unbelievable now almost an hour later and still no response from the store. Not good at all and very disappointed. read more

Please be aware of the fine print on their return policy, the staff would not credit me for 2 unused and unopened boxes that were left over after completing 3 rooms of hardwood flooring and spending over $2,000.00 . My contractor was not able to complete the work within the 30 days per the fine print and we were only told by the store that if we returned any of the unused flooring we would be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee which amounts to about $100.00 in credit. Terrible customer service and the staff showed no level of concern or willingness to be helpful. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !! read more

I don't usually review businesses, but my experience with this place was awful and I felt I should share it. The person who came to measure my space was instructed to measure two areas and to keep the measurements separate because I wasn't sure if I was going to do them both. I already knew what each space's measurements were, but the store needed to do their own, which I understood. I got the estimate and decided to only do one of the spaces, but the measurements were not kept separate as I instructed. This turned into a big deal. After going to the store in person and about 6 phone calls from 3 different employees, I was told that they would take off 16 square feet from the total, which is crazy because the one space measured just under 100 square feet. I was told that I was wrong, but if it turned out to be that amount, they would refund the overpayment. There was no offer to come out and remeasure. I was treated as though I didn't know what I was talking about. I just happen to do carpentry on the side and I know how to measure for square footage. It's not rocket science. But they would not listen to me. So, needless to say, I told them I don't want them to do the job. The last person I spoke to, who's name is Louis, was very nasty and condescending. I will never go back to this store and I will let everyone I know how they operate. read more
