Contacted him, told him my budget, he said he had some that should fit and to come by. My husband and I drove there (a good 40 minutes from our house) and it was located in one of those business industrial parks that looked deserted. But there it was - flags out front that it was open, the door wide open. Walked in and there were a LOT of mattresses. I introduced myself to Dan (he calls himself the Mattress Man) and he showed us the mattresses in our price range. My husband has back issues, so I had him lay down on a few and he picked the one he liked the best. It was a bed in a box, called Restore Sapphire Sleep. King sized mattress, shipped to our house for free. Our total cost was $650. It took less than 10 days to get it and we unboxed it and am extremely happy with it! I would highly recommend Dan the Mattress Man! All prices ranges, all kinds of mattresses, free shipping and they will deliver for a fee. His wife is a hoot!

Update: Business owners contacted us, apologized and mailed us a check for our full refund…read more(received). They also provided us with a $100 gift card to compensate for our experience. We are supporters of local businesses. Our experience with Bemisters, however, has been among the worst experiences we have ever had with a business. We ordered adirondack chairs earlier in the year. Because of the color we wanted they were special ordered for which we would have to pay shipping. We agreed. Roughly 2 months after we ordered them they were delivered... to the store (not our home as we'd been told). We went to pick them up and discovered they were not the color we ordered. Store employee confirmed they were the wrong color - manufacturer error. They suggested we take these while they processed a replacement order. We did. Over the next 2+ months we followed up with Bemisters several times on the replacements. No one could give us status on the replacements. When follow up calls to us were promised they were never received. We finally got tired of waiting for the replacements, we called and said they should cancel the replacement order and we were returning the incorrectly colored ones for a refund. Store employee agreed. At first they said they would pick up the chairs at our home. They never did. We ultimately dropped the chairs off at the store (pictures attached). Store employee acknowledged the condition of the chairs (like new). We were told because of the time that had passed since the original order they would have to issue a refund by check (instead of back to our credit card). After two weeks without receiving a check we followed up by phone with the store. Now we were being told that the chairs needed to be shipped to their other store to determine their condition and decide whether a refund would be issued. Absolute nonsense. When we commented on the horrible customer service we were receiving, we received a sarcastic "that's what we strive for" from the store employee. One way or another, we will get our refund. And we will never do business with this business again.

I've also gone the custom made route Over the same years I've spent thousands on mattresses, etc. for my family members. After searching several specialty and furniture stores for a set with no luck, a light went on! I've driven by Kelley's several times and did just that... never stopping in. I thought why not just give this place a try. .. and I am SO VERY glad that I did! The outside of the store isn't the most inviting , but once I opened the door I was greeted by a lovely woman who patiently listened to what I was looking for. She then assisted me , bringing me directly to the set I needed with a price tag that I'll add was SHOCKINGLY affordable! Obviously I had to try it out , looking ridiculous while laying on the floor model. SOLD! Immediately !! The next question was : Do you deliver? And when? YES and within a very reasonable time frame - again, NOT a lot of money. WOW!! I definitely believe in buying LOCAL whenever possible. It's a win-win for all. I hope my positive review will assist potential buyers with that in the very least, trying this place. I wanted to install automated Hunter Douglas shades in our living room after having the manual shades in our sunroom office for nearly a decade (provided by another business). I knew exactly what we wanted after researching this item for several weeks, but i still had a bunch of questions for, Bob, the owner. Every question i asked he had a insightful, measured answer that made complete sense, he knew the product inside out. I made calls to six vendors in the Seabrook/Hampton NH area to solicit quotes for the window treatments. Bob was the first person i called and from the start i could tell The Blind Gallery of New England was going to be the "one". Other vendors came close to Bob's pricing but it was the level of knowledge and his friendly nature that convinced me. We arranged a time to meet, Bob texted on the ride over to tell me he was running 14 minutes late! giving me an exact ETA (wouldnt it be nice if every vendor did this!). He measured up the windows and we chatted about the install, the product and next steps. Fast forward two weeks and the window treatments are ready. We again arranged a time, an exact ETA was sent and Bob arrived on time and installed the window treatments (on a Saturday no less, this man is committed) while i watched the English premier league matches. Bob set the blinds up in my smart phone app and walked me through the pebble remote and its operation. The product is amazing, automated blinds are a luxury, i get it, but they are so nice and finish off the room exactly how i wanted it. Bob was an absolute delight from beginning to end so much so that we are now talking to Bob and his team about installing additional automated Hunter Douglas products in our dining room and bathrooms. I recommend Bob and The Blind Gallery of New England without any hesitation, 5 Stars across the board!
