The Patio Barn is located on Rt 101 in Amherst NH just past the shops at Salzburg Square. The business is family owned and operated and has been there since 1959. That makes this place unique as family owned businesses are dwindling! My husband and I were looking for a few Chaise Lounges for our deck and decided to stop in and see what they had. The Patio Barn was having its annual season end clearance and everything on the floor/lawn was 30-50 % off! They had a great selection inside and outside which had many colors and styles to choose from. Modern to traditional and more. We worked with Taylor who is the owners son. He was extremely friendly , knowledgeable and helpful! He looked up prices for us and went over all information pertaining to the chaises. Features , warranty and info about the maker. We ended purchasing two Chaise lounges from him from a maker named Telescope ( we had purchased telescope before) Its an amazing product! The Chaises we picked out were white and light grey. Very nice , but when we brought them home they were too bright for our deck... So we called Taylor the next day brought the chaises back and exchanged them for a beautiful red color! Taylor was exceptionally helpful and made the exchange effortless! To boot he gave us an exceptional deal! Honestly he gained a customer for life! These guys are great, knowledgeable and kind. I went in to get husband some Adirondack chairs for Father's Day and I wasn't sure which he'd like better. The staff offered for me to buy one of each so that my husband could test them out at home and decide for himself. They loaded the chairs in my vehicle and then the next day when I came back with the one I wanted to exchange they were great, came right out to the parking lot, unloaded the one we were returning and put the new ones right in. Make no mistake. This is not the Home Depot, or Target quality furniture. It is that high end plastic decking. Guaranteed for 20 years? Yup. Even the colors. Even though I could tell they were busy, they found a balance between hovering over me and giving us our space. They deliver and set up for you too. I live in California, and my elderly parents live in Dunbarton. I asked these guys to order a teak bench, assemble it and deliver it on my mom's birthday. I gave them only seven days notice. Brett took care of me, delivered on time, and I received glowing comments from my mum and dad. Brett advised me on the best quality bench, and did what he needed to hustle the bench out. Price was a bit steep, but the service was exceptional. If my mum wants a table and side chair to go with the bench, I'll work with Brett again. read more
