The mantra "Make Money and Sell Cheap" still allows these box companies to sell quality products within the price range of most consumers. I picked up a really good deal on an item at Homemakers on Douglas, and in addition had NFM deliver several high quality items at a good Memorial Day Sale price. Homemakers' is a place you can get some quality pieces at a reasonable price.

The couch was delivered with a broken selectronic headrest on the chaise. It took the company a week to replace it. Within a month the armless recliner mechanism broke. We bought the warranty Unfortunately they are only able to come out Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:00. Which is when my husband and I work so they could not fix it. We tried to return it but they told us it was outside the 30 days and wouldn't let us return it . We also asked for a refund for our warranty since we can never use it because we work during normal business hours and we were told we had to contact a different company for that .They agreed to exchange it but brought the wrong piece. So one month later ( having a recliner stuck out open in the middle of our living room) we finally got a working armless recliner. Then 3 months later the armless recliner broke again and we went through the exact same problem and it wasn't replaced for a month because first they tried to send out a service person when we weren't home, then sent out the wrong thing before delivering the right piece. I have spent so much time on the phone and chat with this company and I can honestly say it is one of the worst companies and customer services I have ever experienced in my life. The only good part of the company is the delivery guys who I tried to give credit to but come to find out they are third party and don't even work for Bob's. I will never buy anything from this company and will try to stop anybody I know from buying anything from this company.

I must be honest I have never bought a bed before! I have been in the same bed since 2005 and it was a hand me down queen from my parents! So when we decided man we maybe need a new bed we have been shopping around! One thing you quickly realized is that Beds are pricey and naturally my wife has "GOOD TASTE" the ones that are like 3,000 just seem a little more comfortable then the 1,000 dollar ones! Now I have been the type of guy who has slept on a lot of floors on tour, both hard wood and cement, so I know I can sleep anywhere but there is something to be said about a comfortable bed! The guy at Mattress Firm seemed to know his stuff, and was totally cool with us asking about a million questions! They also deliver, same day to your home! Which is awesome! We didn't end up buying a bed today but we got a lot info and received great customer service here! When we are ready we will most likely be back!

Brought our young kids. Nice staff who give grace to crazy kids. I don't recommend bringing the rug rats. They can easily scratch, damage something, or turn on and off the lamps- annoying the sales associates. So... def not kid friendly. You can immediately tell the quality of the furniture by touching. The durability compares to nothing in any other furniture store. They carry Palettes by Wineburg and are comparable in price to Homemakers. They offer more of a selection and someone who actually enjoys helping in customizing. They also can customize what you like from their floor models. We were able to receive a general quote for customization while we were there. With extra add ons the sales associate was able to email me a better estimate of price. They typically have sales throughout the year. Their best deals are right around Forth of July and Labor Day. Be patient when visiting on a busy day. They don't staff 20 people at a time. They have staff that you can work directly with and repeatedly for a more intimate business exchange. Expect to pay high price for high quality. Definitely recommend if you're looking for heirloom pieces. They keep up with furniture trends but also keep their classic looks to remain classic throughout the years.

I recently wrote a bad review on NFM related to how they handled my broken fridge that does not…read moremake ice and turned me over to their warranty company. This review is to give credit where it is due. NFM turned me over to Square Trade who then turned me over to Iowa Appliance Repair. In the end Iowa Appliance repair did a good job replacing both ice makers and Square Trade did a good job of getting the parts here on time. I have a working fridge again. I would recommend Iowa Appliance Repair if you have a need.

So angry! They sold me an unlimited ProtectAll plan on a couch (not cheap might I add, $229 extra)…read morethat was sold as covering all pet damage, rips from claws, spills from kids etc. when we went file our first claim we found out protectall only does a 1 time cleaning for pet damage and won't remove stains that go past the initial layer of the couch. Uuummm talk about false advertising! When showing slumberland and protectall their own terms and conditions stating they cover All stains with no mentions of only covering the top layer of furniture, I was told they will be re-writing their terms and conditions to specify they do not cover this. OMG what a scam. Whatever you do, don't buy this protection plan. With young kids and pets we were so excited about this only for it to be a scam. :/
