By far the best experience buying a mattress I have had. Shopping for a mattress can be extremely daunting, so many options, so many price points. It can be confusing. Thankfully Anthony was extremely patient and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what I was looking for and gave me multiple options, multiple price ranges to choose from. He was very patient with me and my wife. No pressure, which was nice. No attempts and upselling me with things I didn't need, he laid out options, explained the benefits, and allowed me to make my own decision. 10/10 would recommend this location. When you go shopping here be prepared to enter a used car sale mentality. Shawn the manager acts very nice in person. But don't trust the pricing. The store is just sleazy. I had to spend many hours trying to be refunded for their pricing promise. Make sure you want this bed! It will cost you a lot if you don't. Also, they don't tell you, you can't bring back the bed until you had it for 30 days. They are working on commission, so they are going to try and sell it to you for as much as possible!!!!! Just beware when going in here. I had many arguments with Shawn and another district manager. They promise to do this and that but you have to follow up, follow up and follow up. It was exhausting. Also, don't buy any bedding, pillows or accessories here. Buy them at places where the return policy is easier. I have never had a problem returning bedding or pillows to kohls or target. This place sucks. We've already waited quite a bit for the bed. Manager called and explained she was getting a special order Monday since it wouldn't be promised on the day scheduled. Took the day off from work and waited. Called about delivery and was told it was scheduled for the 28th, an entire month later. No hesitation to take my money but can't deliver product. No attempts to find a replacement that could be delivered in a timely manner or suggestions other than delivering just the mattress... a week later.. still late!!! Horrible. UPDATED with Delivery Experience: In-store and delivery both Five Stars. We have been looking to upgrade to a king-size mattress. We went to Sleepy's as our second stop. We then went back to Sleepy's after visiting four more stores throughout the week. Mike G. and Randy were both very helpful each time we went in or called. All I can say is be prepared to feel like a real-life Goldie Locks there are so many options and types of mattresses. Mike and Randy will both help you find the one that is right for you. They will give you all the time and information you need. For those of you who haven't purchased a mattress before it can be worse than buying a car, especially if your like me and want to make sure you're getting the best price. Every store has similar mattresses from all the same manufacturers, but with different names for the actual mattresses. So you need to make sure you are looking at the same lines. Sleepy's will match and honor the competition. They even encourage you to look around they are so confident in their pricing. So it's Memorial Day weekend now. I purchased the mattress on Friday and they were able to set up delivery on Sunday within a four hour window. I received a call on Saturday as promised from Sleepy's to confirm my four hour delivery window. Mine was 8-12 on Sunday. They arrived at approximately 8:30. The bed frame, box springs, and mattress were all brought in and set up in less than 15 minutes (maybe even 10)! The delivery men were nice and friendly. Couldn't have asked for anything more. We might have to swap out our standard box spring for low profile. Mike and Randy already set that up in about 5 minutes. Bed looks great and I can't wait to sleep on it. read more

The worst experience I've ever had purchasing anything!!! my wife and I went in the store to buy a king size frame for our platform bed paid cash. the sales associate was called Melissa McCormic we were told it would be there on Tuesday and that we would get a call we never did. i went to the store Thursday and was told it would be there Friday and that I would get a call. again no call went to the store Saturday and was told if I waited until Monday they'd knock off $50, i agreed. Monday comes around surprise surprise still no frame. at this point i just wanted my money back and was told they had no record of the purchase. after I produced a receipt they told me i should get a check in a week . it's been 2 weeks now still no check. might have to go to small claims. read more

I took a chance by shopping Sleepy's and was less than impressed. The only reason I made the purchase was because I already had my mind set on purchasing a Tempur-Pedic and needed it ASAP. The sales experience was terrible. I would honestly compare it to dealing with a used car sales team. I already knew what I wanted and that I was going to make the purchase and was still given the "I know it all and you know nothing" attitude. Even worse, I spent a good ten minutes arguing against purchasing a $99 mattress cover, which I finally convinced the salesman that I wasn't purchasing it. It was such a desperate attempt to squeeze every dime possible out of the sale. Am I supposed to believe that a $2,500 mattress is absolutely not going to last without a $99 cover? This was such a disgusting experience, there's no way I would recommend this store to anyone I liked. ****UPDATE**** It has now been some time since I reviewed this business, and my dissatisfaction with the service received. As recommended, I contacted Corporate as they were quick to comment on here and request that I reach out for assistance. It was a brief conversation and I was shipped a free mattress cover for my troubles and discontent with the shopping experience. I found the mattress that I had purchased to be uncomfortable and after approximately 5 weeks, I decided to return the product. Sleepy's offers a guarantee that states you have to sleep on the mattress for a minimum of 30 days as TempurPedics do have a break in period. If you aren't completely satisfied, you can schedule a pick up and it costs $175. When I contacted the retailer, I was told I would be contacted by a representative to schedule a pick up. Later that same day I did receive a call asking when I would like to come in and choose another mattress. Given the above mentioned experience, I notified the representative that I didn't have a good experience initially and was simply planning on returning the product. I also explained I had no intentions of purchasing a different product from Sleepy's. The rep apologized for my dissatisfaction and told me I would be contacted by them again to schedule the pick up. In a matter of a couple of hours, I received a second call and was asked if I would keep the product and accept a $1,000 reduction in price. I turned down the offer and again asked if I could just schedule the pickup. This of course was followed by the response "someone will call you to schedule the pick up Sir". At the end of the week, I decided to call them myself as I hadn't received that phone call. After insisting I needed a pick up and was not interested in any offers or another round of shopping there, they finally scheduled a pick up and it was handled rather expediently. I was told that since I had purchased the merchandise via Sleepy's financing (Synchrony Bank), the amount of the product would be credited minus the $175 fee and the cost of the "free bedding" that I received as part of a promotion when I made the initial purchase. I expected this and was in no way upset about the costs I would incur. I was just happy to finally have the merchandise removed and the return done. It's now been a couple of weeks since the pick up took place and of course I had to contact the financing company because the credit has yet to be issued. Now I am hearing that it takes 3 weeks for Sleepy's to process the return and then the credit will be issued. This almost feels like I took on a part time job now. If I could rate this business anything less than 1 star, I would definitely do it. I do not wish to further discuss this experience with anyone in Corporate and am just updating so that anyone reading this can know what to expect. You will get pressure sales tactics right up to the point of returning a product (if you're not satisfied with your choice), and God help you if you decide to return without picking something else out at the store. I'm sure it will all be resolved in due time but don't expect an expedient process by any means if you find yourself in a similar situation as myself. read more
