Kolby Horner at Mattress Sleep Centers on Harvey Rd. in College Station was exceptional to work with! Our once comfortable bed had become a nightmare, but we had no idea how difficult shopping for a mattress would be. I was too tired and frustrated to continue when my parents suggested we come to town and visit Kolby at Mattress Sleep Centers because he had helped them with their beds. That was a game changer. By the time we met him, we had visited numerous mattress stores, talked to many salespersons, and studied Consumer Reports, etc. My husband and I have different mattress preferences, but Kolby helped us find the perfect sleep system for us. We were amazed to realize we could both be extremely comfortable with the same ergonomic mattress and mattress topper. Even our pets sleep happier and one has learned to turn on the massage function. After many unproductive (sometimes unpleasant) shopping trips in other areas (DFW-Houston), my mom pre-shopped and I visited the location and decided to take my now reluctant husband. We discovered real customer service with no pressure to buy. Furthermore, when we asked questions, we encountered someone very knowledgable about the latest research with sleep, sleep apnea. He knew his products and the competitors. WIthin 30 minutes of being in the store, my husband was ready to order. It happened so quickly that I was unprepared and forgot to ask about a wall hugger feature on our ergonomic base. Having owned a business, I understand the inconvenience of dealing with change orders, but Kolby handled it fairly and with the understanding that this was a bed we would be enjoying for years to come. As a bonus, Kolby helped to find the perfect rails and guest mattresses to convert my grandmother's antique beds into XL Twins. Because of the antiquated connectors, we weren't even sure this would be possible. Now we have a great sleep system in our room, and I now have the antique beds I've loved as long as I can remember and they suit our taller guests perfectly! Best of all, they delivered to Cypress (near Houston). Delivery, clean up, and haul away of our old bedding was incredibly smooth as Kolby thought to send anything and everything that might possibly be needed. He even sent both low profile and normal box springs to see which worked best with our antique beds. He sent along a variety of different connectors, Malouf Mattress Pads and he even helped us to locate the difficult to find Split King Sheets. (Thanks to Kolby, we found the best sheets I've ever owned.) My husband talked him into a stay-cool pillow and he sent an extra. I thought these were hype, but do opt for the pillow! They're worth it! I typically have buyers remorse with purchases. Not this time! This was a great experience from beginning to end and beyond. We've had great customer service before, but this was by far the best experience for both of us. For the last several months we've been sleeping soundly! I still can't believe it, but we have the kind of luxurious sleep system where we're no longer excited to stay in hotels with famously comfortable beds when we have to travel. Who needs to go anywhere when we already have a resort-like bed experience at home! We are truly blessed because every day is a great day after a great night's sleep! Spoiler! If you are following our mattress journey, This is where we ended up buying our mattress. From the moment we walked in the door our experience was very good. As we went to a couple other stores first, I was sick of talking to crappy sales people who just are out to get you. We were greeted by the owner himself which was fun to see since it was late at night on a Tuesday. He helped us pick the firmness we liked, and talked to us like friends. After looking at a couple beds he began educating us on mattresses and telling us what was different about spring and foam mattresses and how support works in beds. There was no high pressure sales, actually very fun sales as he joked with us about how crappy mattress shopping is. We ended up buying a Beautyrest Black bed and love it! These guys have been so great and helpful. When we were shopping for a mattress, they were incredibly knowledgeable and not just trying to sell you the most expensive one (like a lot of other stores beforehand).
