I came to this location first because of the hundreds of 5 star reviews that I saw on Google. It has been a very long time since I have shopped for a mattress and didn't really know what to expect. Aaron Payne was the name of the associate that helped me with my selection on one of the new Sealy Posturepedic Hybrids. His manager Tom also reminded me of a Veterans discount on the Foundation I needed. But what really blew me away was after they delivered and setup my mattress (which was free) I had a change of heart on where I needed it setup at, being a disabled vet my body isn't as strong as it once was. He Personally came to my home after they had closed for the evening and rearranged it himself! I tried to give him extra cash for the late house call but he would not except. I have NEVER had such difficulties with any mattresses in my life...this is the first and last time I ever purchase anything from Mattress Warehouse! I purchased a king size Serta Mattress a year ago (Jan 2020) which I use only 3 nights a week because due to work I live in two different cities. I added a 4 inch mattress topper since day one as well. I have had many problems with the mattress sinking in 6 different places which makes no sense at all because 3 of those months I had to quarantine away from my home so the bed was not slept in at all. Not to mention I am the only one using the bed. I honestly can't use one side of the mattress due to the an indentation which causing me to roll off the bed! This would be funny if it wasn't true and didn't cause major discomfort. I called the warranty department they sent out an inspector who found 6 different irregularities in the mattress. Three weeks later I received a rejection of warranty due to nothing found. The warranty manager left me a message stating "they don't warranty mattresses that cause pain". What???? I have tried to speak to the gentleman in charge who rejected the warranty but his number is blocked. I wonder why?? I have asked (begged) for him to return my calls but to no avail. So now I am stuck with a bed I cannot sleep on and have to go elsewhere to purchase another bed. So much for Serta and so much for Mattress Warehouse! read more

My wife and I recently bought a mattress from the Mattress Warehouse on Seminole Trail in Charlottesville, Va. We actually had issues with our king size mattress and it had to be replaced due to a defect that caused it to "sink" on one side. This was a top of the line mattress and even with a deep discount, it was pricey. Without going into every issue, suffice it to say we became very disappointed in the "corporate" lack of response to our problem. We also bought the "Ergomotion" adjustable frame and due to improper installation it broke. With all of these issues, one might think that we would write a negative review. On certain aspects of our experience we certainly could. However, we must say, Chuck, the local store manager at our Mattress Warehouse worked patiently and diligently with us until we became completely satisfied with our new Tempur-Pedic hybrid. We wish we had selected it as our first choice. The difference between us rating our experience as a "two star" experience instead of a "five star," was simply due to Chuck. Chuck was always polite, calming, and committed to "getting us to a happy place." Mattress Warehouse, you are very fortunate to have this individual on your team. We had a great experience at mattress warehouse. We had been considering buying a mattress online, but we decided to go into a mattress store to take a look at our options. Turns out, MW carries Casper, so we were able to feel it in real life and decide that it wasn't for us. The salesperson was very helpful and asked great questions to ensure our needs were met. We landed on a Bedgear mattress, which we fell in love with and fit our price point nicely. We were guided through the financing efficiently and got to choose our delivery date. They'll even complete your warranty if you want them to! We would definitely go back- in fact, I'm taking my mom there next week so she can buy her mattress from them too! read more

Awful experience! Bought a mattress and had the return policy explained to us. Before the 90 day period ended, we contacted the store and told them our Kingsdown mattress was failing and we wanted to exchange. The manager seemed on top of everything and told us there was an exchange fee (~$140) that would hold a spot to get a new mattress if Kingsdown didn't replace the mattress outright. Kingsdown sent someone that resembled a creepy mortician to evaluate of mattress that now resembled a tent. The decision was that our bed that I measured to be level voided and responsibility for Kingsdown. We bought a new mattress and box spring, but we didn't buy a new bedroom set, so that mattress was our fault. When we returned to Mattress Warehouse, they found the record of our money, but told us that's not how this works. They were the ones that told us what to do in the first place! They instead explained that the manager no longer worked for them and that they would not be exchanging our mattress. Dozens of attempts from local to corporate offices all lead to no progress. Without a conversation or acknowledgement, the money was returned to our account. What I learned is Mattress Warehouse does not stand behind it's guarantees or its' employees. Additionally, the mattress was 25% cheaper after the 90 day period than what I paid on a "super sale" with a military discount. Couldn't be more disappointed in this company or this Kingsdown mattress. Buyer beware! read more

I came into the mattress warehouse in search of a new King adjustable bed and I got just that! When we walked in the salesman Jeff was so nice and openly ready to help us. He asked us what we were looking for and all we knew was the basics. He set us up on the bed tester and in no time the test was done and he had a few options for us to check out. He didn't hit us straight to the expensive beds, he told us what the results were and we checked 3 of them out and we knew right away which one we wanted. It was definitely the least expensive of the 3 but he never complained or tried to per sway us in any other direction. He said never look at the dollar amount until you have tried it and like it, then look at the sign. He even set us up with free delivery! That was an automatic 100.00 savings. I just left Mattress Warehouse a could of hours ago and wanted to write this review asap so that I didn't forget to do so. I had been to another local mattress store on my search for a new mattress after my Sealy Cocoon failed to amaze me and left that store super discouraged as it appeared that I couldn't even afford a floor model as it was priced at $3199. When I walked into Mattress Warehouse I was already bummed but Max (sales rep) greeted me with a smile and immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. He asked me about my sleep preferences and then matched me to a bed with the special bed match machine. Even though he could have taken me straight to the super expensive model it suggested, he listened to me and showed me all of my options regardless of price. He talked to me about what HE liked about each mattress personally and I honestly felt like he was willing to help me find a bed no matter what it took. He was simply amazing. He gave me a fantastic discount, a free pillow and mattress cover and half off delivery. I honestly cannot say enough about his customer service. I felt like a person and I felt like he cared about finding me the right mattress. It's really hard to find that kind of customer service these days. I will absolutely recommend him and Mattress Warehouse to anyone in search of a mattress. Aside from their customer service, they have a fantastic selection and great deals.
