Another bad review for mattress warehouse. The Sealy products are great and our shopping experience was good. The problem is with the contracted delivery service this company uses. We received the wrong mattress! While setting up the mechanical frame the delivery men discovered a missing bolt. Phone calls ensued with no result other than not filling this delivery. My husband found a bolt in his tool box and the delivery men finished the installation. After they left we discovered the mattress on the bed was NOT what we purchased. Immediately we called the store. The store personnel agreed it was the wrong mattress. Our old mattress was taken away, that was fine. The store indicated we could use the delivered mattress for now. Since they only deliver 2 days a week we are waiting for 1. A confirmed call back from the store with a delivery date and 2. Still waiting for this call back days later. At this point we will dispute the over $2,000.00 charge on our credit card, write letters to mattress warehouse and Sealy corporate offices. It's obvious this dealer has a vendor that cannot DELIVER the product correctly. Why are they still contracting with this delivery company? Pat is a FABULOUS salesman. There is no salesman that can rival his knowlege or match his customer service skills. We bought just a measly box spring but Pat made us feel like we just made the purchase of a lifetime. We were vibing on his amazing positive energy all the way home. Patrick was great to work with. He went over all of the features and details about every mattress I looked at. I live over the bay bridge and they made sure the mattress was secure on my vehicle. Patrick went through all the models in my price range and wasn't trying to get me to buy something more expensive. Price was great and service was top notch. Very nice salesman, very helpful. That's where it ended, unfortunately. Mattress was delivered in such a hurried fashion that the bottom of the box spring was ripped. Delivery guy fixed it on the spot with a staple gun of a much lower quality staple. We insisted on getting a new one, was delivered no problem. When we realized we needed a firmer mattress there were hidden replacement fees, disposal fee, etc. New mattress was promised between 4:00 - 7:00 pm. After we adjusted our work schedule to accommodate, we were called the day of to say they would deliver between 1:00-4:00 pm. I have bought 2 sets of mattresses from here - Patrick was a fantastic sales rep to work with both times! He took his time to explain everything, was not pushy at all, and was so pleasant to talk to. Both sets of mattresses were delivered in a timely manner and at the time they said they would be. They set them up in no time at all in fantastic condition. Received convincing service and seemingly attractive offer at the Mattress Warehouse store in Montgomery Mall, Bethesda MD, when decided to buy the KING size Tempur-Pedic LUXEADAPT mattress with EASE 2.0 Adjustable Base on July 4th, plus a set of KING Headboard mounting kit. Things went from customer satisfaction to worst customer nightmare following the delivery on Monday, July 8th. - 1. Mattress delivery came around 12:30pm on July 8, two hours after the heavy rain that morning. Sadly, our floors, stairs and walkway to the bedroom were left wet and sticky despite my request to delivery people to take off wet shoes. There was NO commonsense practice like that of any decent delivery to at least cover customer's property on rainy days! - 2. Regarding the EASE horizontal Adjustable Base for the KING mattress - The delivery people left the foot cable not connected, would not disclose the cable connector was jammed, and did not bother to open the box to fix it and left. Fooled me by only switching the head remote control and did not give clear answer when I twice asked why the foot control didn't work. Received No help when called the store that night except "have manager call you the next day" which didn't happen until I called. We ended up must flipped the heavy mattress and Base ourselves to fix the 'foot' cable! "Job half done is job not done!" Complained about the delivery/incomplete setup job to store manager Suganthe on Tuesday 7/9/19. She verbally apologized and agreed to investigate and get back with me, have not heard, receive explanation, or offer any help! (This kind of customer service seriously warrant compensation for incomplete service, complaint with Business Bureau, and Review to disclose subpar service!) 3. On Wednesday July 10, while we attempt to connect our KING Headboard with the EASE Base ourselves, to our horror the wrong size mounting kit/brackets for the headboard was dropped off by the delivery. Upon checking my receipt, noticed standard size mounting kit was ordered by Mattress Warehouse (even though we purchased King size horizontal split Base). We called Tempur-Pedic Customer Service to be told the bracket was the wrong size, we need "King horizontal split Headboard Brackets - not standard" (after we wasted an hour trying to figure out what's wrong!). 4. When we purchased the KING mattress plus EASE Adj Base, plus KING Headboard mounting kit, the sales manager assured us the headboard mounting kit will be delivered at the same time when the mattress is delivered and will be mounted onto the EASE Adjustable Base. However, the delivery men did not open the headboard mounting kit and did not install it and left! On July 11, we called Mattress Warehouse to inform them they've ordered/delivered the wrong size mounting kit. During the conversation with their salesperson, he asked "did the delivery man installed it?" Also, he admitted his store had ordered the wrong mounting kit, he will order the right kit and have us PICK UP the kit next Tuesday. No apology, no courtesy offers to deliver the kit to our house PLUS mounting! Mattress Warehouse customer service AT ITS BEST indeed! Total disappointment (to put mildly) to receive totally unacceptable service for purchasing the most expensive mattress set we ever had. This kind of customer nightmare ruins customer confidence, reputation of any business, and any return business. A call to action, compensation and satisfactory explanation is needed. read more
