There are a lot of negative reviews on here but they're older, and I would like to provide a recent review. After having a terrible shopping experience at Mattress Firm, I decided to come here to this Mattress Warehouse. The store was HUGE with over 100 mattresses to try--with a huge variety of comfort levels and price ranges. In store, I didn't feel pressured to purchase at all. The sales lady was super friendly, answered my questions, but also gave me space to try the mattresses in my own time. When I found my perfect mattress, she even gave me a discount when I asked! I interacted with two other employees over the phone following my in store purchase, and they were equally helpful and friendly. On delivery day, the delivery people were efficient, communicative, and respectful. I was able to track the truck live to see how close they were to my stop on their delivery route. Overall, this was a really positive shopping experience. I recommend coming here for your next mattress! read more

From soup to nuts, the entire process was easy and stress-free. Every person I dealt with from the sales rep to delivery installers were so nice and helpful. I needed a mattress for a guest room. I showed up on a Friday afternoon and it was very quiet and peaceful. I told the sales rep what I needed and he recommended three possible beds. We set up delivery that day for two weeks later. When I needed to change my delivery time and called the store, the office staff went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. The delivery process was efficient and seamless. I received an automated call the night before with a delivery time and a follow-up email with the same information. You can now track on-line where you are in the delivery queue and plan your day accordingly. I also received an automated call when the team was 10 minutes away. The installers were really quick and even helped me re-locate an existing mattress to another room. All in all, I could not be happier with the purchase, sales price, sales team, and delivery team. read more

I had a bad experience. Placed an order for a mattress, waited for a phone call stating it was ready for pickup, but a month passed and nothing. I attempted to reach the store and no one would return my call. Finally I told my credit card company the item was never received. The store sent them a document that I picked up the mattress... I had to file a complaint in court for them to provide the item I paid for months prior. In the market for a new mattress, came to yelp to avoid this situation and not surprised by the reviews for this location :( read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. I ordered a queen mattress and boxspring from this store and have tried TWICE to have it delivered and each time, I am told the delivery guys are backed up and can never make it to my condo building before 9pm. In Arlington, condo buildings have restricted hours for their loading docks and cannot receive deliveries after 5pm. After explaining this to the store and understanding they cannot confirm delivery times, one still would not assume the delivery people would try to deliver a mattress at 9pm TWICE. The store representatives were also very rude and unhelpful. I will NEVER purchase from this establishment ever again and intend to take my business to Sleepy's. read more

They made the process easy and helped us get the right mattress for us without spending more money, they gave us a great deal. Very are happy with this pleasant experience. IN THE LONGRUN...IN MY OPINION...YOU'LL BE BETTER FOR IT. Having said that....My detailed review is listed below: Two years ago, on September 14, 2012, I spent close to $2,500.00 on what was supposed to be two, top-quality, pillow-top mattresses. At just two years, one of the mattresses, the one I sleep on regularly, has sunken in the middle and been giving me lower back pain for the last several weeks. I suspect the second mattress, which is currently in my guest room, if it were to be used more regularly, would also be sunken in the middle. Bottom line: I believe both mattresses to be defective. I feel like I just threw away money I can't afford--$2,500 on defective mattresses. Unfortunately, my story gets worse. I returned to the S. Jefferson store on Saturday, December 27, to see if I could get some relief for my situation and, I readily admit, after already spending a considerable amount of money on both mattresses, dealing with my lower back pain for the last several weeks caused by sleeping on one of the mattresses, and facing the possibility of having to shell out more money for new mattresses, I was frustrated--in fact, I still am. However, the customer service experience I received at the S. Jefferson store was undeserved, unprofessional, and left me even more frustrated and upset. First, instead of helping and understanding my situation, the sales associate, who, because I don't know his name, I can only describe as an Asian Indian man, appeared more interested in getting me out the door. He gave me the choice of him filing a complaint claim via email or said I could do it online at sleephappens.com. When I suggested we do both to expedite matters and cover all bases, he refused, uttering something about headquarters interpreting such actions as "fraudulent" and that both of us filing a claim would only slow things down. It didn't make sense to me. When I suggested moving ahead with both actions anyway, he became frustrated and began raising his voice (I am the one who spent $2,500 on defective mattresses but he's raising his voice? Yeah, right.). He then accused me of not treating him with the respect he deserved--a bogus charge he ultimately used to refuse me any more "so-called" help. My experience leads me to believe that good customer service is only provided at Mattress Warehouse as long as you're spending money. But after they get your money and there's a legitimate problem, the sales associates at Mattress Warehouse see you as a bother and immediately push you off on your own. If this is Mattress Warehouse's idea of stellar customer service, I predict it's only a matter of time before the company's brand takes a major hit--if it hasn't happened already. Once again: AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! Go to MACYS where you may have to spend a little more money...but at least the customer service will be better and they will stand behind the product. read more

I wish I had not gone here. I was sold a wayyy too firm mattress that was killing my back and hips, I tried giving it time a week or two then called and was told to give it more time, they refused a refund or exchange, I was stuck with this mattress. Apparently a co-worker then told me only go to JC pennies, sears or macy's for mattresses's as they will do a full refund and their prices are cheaper too. Pushy, unskilled and arrogant sales rep. Saw a mattress on website "mattresswarehouse.com" (which I presumed was their website. The price was great as I was interested in buying a few pieces for an (AirBnB). I showed the sales rep the website on my phone, His immediate response while interrupting me in a rude and aggressive manner before I finished my sentence was .... " THAT'S NOT OUR WEBSITE, YOU'RE LOOKING AT A WRONG WEBSITE". Left me with a puzzled/baffled look. I then had to become an interviewer/investigator instead of a customer and ask investigative questions to figure out why that isn't their website and what is their actual website even though it's the same identical name. This response/approach is idiotic and uncalled for if you ask me. I would understand if a customer showed him some totally unrelated website like "Ashelyfurniture.com or Marlo.com". They need to Explain to customers in a polite and understanding manner as Im sure this happens often and Im not the first nor the last to visit that website. Nevertheless he reluctantly showed me what is a comparable mattress to what I was looking for [after I made the request, instead of him leading as a sales rep should and make that suggestion]. During the process, He dismissed the low grade mattresses ($500 price range) and kept talking about the higher end mattresses. ( 1k plus price range)... Kept saying " With mattresses you get what you pay for, you want the guest to be comfortable or uncomfortable" ......You don't say... Thanks genius. I guess they get more commission on the high end mattresses and not the price range I was looking at. In conclusion, I left without telling him how many I was looking for, annoyed and disappointed. Ended up purchasing several mattresses from their competitor who knew how to deal with a selective customer. read more

Keith was great! We went to several mattress stores looking before locking down our mattress here. He was helpful and knowledgeable, without being pushy, and made good suggestions. Fantastic mattress buying experience. Who knew? Ivan was a wonderful salesman--low pressure but very knowledgeable. Amir (store manager) gave me a great deal. The delivery was also seamless--the delivery guys were so nice. In addition to giving me a 3 hour delivery window on my chosen date, they even called me 10 min out to let me know they were on their way. I know mattress stores have a reputation for being high pressure, crappy sales experiences, but this Mattress Warehouse caused me to sign up for Yelp, just go I could sing their praises! read more

I had a great experience here. After going to 6 or 7 other stores, I went here. Their selection was so much better and the salesman was much more helpful. I got what I wanted at the price I thought was right. The delivery was great, too. They even had a website where I could track the progress of the delivery truck. read more

We purchased an organic cotton mattress made in California, which has totally improved how we sleep. I had some trouble with the pillow we purchased -- it was too flat -- but after speaking with Savi, he let us exchange the pillow for a thicker one that is much more comfortable. read more

I went into Mattress Warehouse for a quick view of their inventory, unsure of what I really wanted. I am pleased to say that Amir gave me plenty of space to explore alone with no pressure. Still waiting on a refund. Though the Corporate office "responded" to my prior review and stated concern that they wanted to know more and would contact me; they did not bother to do so after I wrote a long email to them describing the issue this morning. When called the store AGAIN tonight, the district manager AGAIN stated that the refund had been submitted but could NOT provide proof or reference number (what a surprise) and then blamed AMEX for any delay. I have contacted AMEX and there is no record of a refund submitted. This is really annoying. So, I still am sticking to my review that one should go elsewhere to purchase a mattress. read more

I called ahead to make sure they had the bed frame we were looking for and spoke to Patrick several times to verify. After confirming they did have what we needed in the store, my husband drove out there only to find that they did not have it in the store and they just kept trying to upsell him with other items. Terrible customer service and dishonest salespeople. Avoid at all costs. read more
