    My rating is based on the process involved for returns/refunds…read more As most others stated, we were greeted by a friendly, non-pushy salesperson, and allowed to browse at our leisure without any pressure. We were shopping for a new mattress (king= 2 twin xl, and adjustable bases), and nothing against bob's, but the whole mattress shopping process sucks. How can you lay on something for 5-10 minutes and determine if it will be comfortable for 6-8 hours of sleep at night? We settled on the "plush" version of their sky memory foam, (temperpedic cloud knock off). No issues with the delivery or set up, however the delivery fee is 10% of your purchase price, no matter what you buy. They say you can pick up, but it has to be from one of their distribution centers, not the stores, since the stores don't keep any stock. After the mandatory minimum 30 days, the mattress had not gotten any softer. The other memory foams we tried out, got softer about 5-10 minutes after laying on them with body heat, but not these. Both my wife and I noticed no improvement with achy backs, or tossing and turning at night. We followed the "break in" advice from the salesperson (let the kids jump o them, crawl around on them on knees and elbows, etc) but still no improvement. In order to return them, we had to call customer service first, where they really wanted us to just exchange them for a different mattress. Unfortunately there were not any others that we were interested in, so they started the refund process. After the customer service rep got everything done on her end, she gave me my return authorization number, then told me I needed to contact the store, to process the actual refund, and schedule the pick up of the mattresses. We are keeping our power bases, no issues with them, but went to one of the "big name mattress stores" and found what we hope are going to be better mattresses.

We moved all the old furniture out of the room except the new mattress, which we left on the floor, sitting on the new plastic it was wrapped in. Upon arrival I asked the delivery crew if they needed me to move the mattress or lean it against one of the walls of the room so it would be out of the way. He said not to bother, they'd handle it. I waited downstairs with my wife as they put our furniture together. An hour later they asked me to come up and inspect. We noticed the mattress wasn't in the room and assumed they had moved it. After inspecting we went back downstairs to wait. One of the men approached us and asked us to sign for the job because they were done. We asked about our mattress to which he replied there wasn't one to be delivered. We explained we weren't having one delivered, that it was already here. Where was our brand new mattress? They just looked at us blankly. We explained again, and suddenly a light turned on for one of the men. He suddenly began profusely apologizing. Turns out they took it to the curb in the rain and were going to throw it out. Upon reviewing our security cam footage we could see they took our brand new mattress to their truck where they leaned it against it, one side on the road for 30 min. When they brought it back inside it was covered in dirt, soaked in rain and the new fabric was roughed up. Called Bob's and got a customer service person. Hard to understand them but they were helpful. We've been told it can take up to 72 business hours for someone to return our call and review our claim. We will never do business with this store again. Beware! Avoid their delivery service.

    On May 20, 2026, I purchased a loveseat from Ashley Furniture. The loveseat was a floor model. At…read morethe time of purchase, the salesperson explicitly informed me that if I was not satisfied with the loveseat, I would have three days to return it. The office manager was seated nearby during this conversation and was aware of the terms that were communicated to me. The loveseat was delivered on May 28, 2026. The following morning, May 29, 2026, I decided that the loveseat was not suitable for my needs and contacted Ashley Furniture to arrange a return. When I spoke with the office manager, she initially informed me that the loveseat could not be returned. I reminded her that I had been told at the time of purchase that I had a three-day return period. She then stated that a return would be allowed, provided I paid a $150 retrieval fee. I agreed to the fee, and she instructed me to come to the store to make the payment. After driving to the store, I was informed by the office manager that the loveseat could not be returned after all because it was a floor model. She acknowledged that the salesperson had told me I had three days to return the loveseat, so she was aware of the conversation. If she knew it was wrong information, she should have said so before I made the purchase. The store manager then joined the discussion and likewise stated that the loveseat could not be returned. However, he also acknowledged that I had been told I could return the loveseat within three days. When I asked him directly whether I had been given incorrect information, he apologized and admitted that I had indeed been told I had a three-day return window, but stated that there was nothing he could do and would not stand behind their word. In addition, the delivery driver also informed me at the time of delivery that I had three days to return the loveseat if I chose not to keep it. As a result, three Ashley Furniture employees--the salesperson, the office manager, and the store manager--as well as the delivery driver, acknowledged that I was told I had a three-day return period. Despite these admissions, Ashley Furniture has refused to honor the terms that were represented to me when I made the purchase. Buyer beware, stay away from Ashley. They are not a company you can trust.

Unfortunately, the store is under new ownership and I do not recommend ever buying something from them. My couch was delivered and was put together without the middle "foot." We did not realize this until the frame started buckling in the center, but as soon as we did I called to inform them. It took about a month or more until they finally came out to look at the couch. The man that came was nice and informed me of the problem and that they would fix it; however, I did not hear back from the store. After another month, I called again and the new owner shouted at me and said that this was the first he had heard about it and that the best that he could do would be to send someone with the missing "foot," but he did not want to discuss what was to be done about the warped frame. When I continued to push the issue and question how he would make the situation "right," he shouted more and swore at me, ultimately hanging up on me. I would stay far away from this store and this very unprofessional owner.

The owners (an adorable husband and wife team) stayed after hours and helped us pick out the perfect sectional and fabrics for our living room - and other than a missing sock by the end of the experience (my daughter lost it on her and her brother's adventuring in the store while we finalized our order), it was an awesome experience Highly recommend checking this place out if you are interested in buying a comfortable couch or chair!
