I explained I needed a twin bed for my 89 year old dad for an assisted living facility. He did a great job directing us to a set that was reasonably priced, but would be comfortable for a senior. He was able to schedule delivery for the date I needed. The very bad - delivery service, which they charge $99 + tax for, was horrible. I received an email the day before the delivery date with a 3 hour delivery window - 10:30am-1:30pm and a website link to track the delivery. At 1:30 the projected time slipped to 2pm. At 3pm the driver finally called and said he would be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later he called and couldn't find the assisted living facility. I gave him directions and after another 3 calls with him he finally arrived at 4pm. The next day I spoke with Chris, the store manager, to complain and he immediately said they would refund the delivery charge and was extremely apologetic for the delivery problems even though it is totally out of his control. Hey Corporate Management - listen up - you need to significantly improve your delivery service. It reflects poorly on the company and makes it really hard on great store associates like David and Chris to do their jobs.

It was an excellent shopping experience. We were done in about 20 minutes. The owner, Glenn, knows EVERYTHING about mattresses. We walked into the warehouse and he asked if we wanted to look around on our own or wanted some suggestions. We asked for suggestions. He zeroed us in on three models, had very detailed info on each. (His website also has a lot of great info.) Great prices. Next-day delivery plus removal of the old mattress. Also sells sheets, pillows, metal bed frames, and mattress covers. Since we were moving from a queen to a king, that was all really handy. Also, he works with manufacturers to get flippable mattresses, which are hard to find now. He said that one-sided mattresses are basically like buying half a mattress. People will go to him specifically for 2-siders. He says he doesn't advertise because he gets so many referrals. We were so impressed with him, we actually called the next day before the delivery and asked him to throw in a second mattress to replace one from another bedroom. I felt fine just buying it over the phone because he's that knowledgeable. He also gave us a bit of a discount for buying two. "I'm a long-term operation," he said several times. He wants customers for life. Mattress is good so far. A little firm but it takes a while to break them in. Also, as Glenn pointed out, a mattress can always be made softer with mattress toppers but it cannot be made firmer. Highly recommend!

To the point that they would not expedite the cabinet that we needed (that THEY messed up), would not provide any discount and actually went as far as wanting us to pay to have the correct one shipped to us. The saga continued with the regional manager lying saying he would refund us the original shipping charge, but did not communicate that to the employee we were working with at this store. Long story short, this has pushed everything else we have scheduled on our remodel back a week and a half because that is the soonest they can get us the cabinet that THEY messed up ordering. Hands down worst customer service I've experienced, especially when it was completely the companies fault. No help at all, not even an apology. For this reason I would go to one of the many other cabinet stores. My 5 stars is based solely on sales representative and ordering process. I will come back and update after install on quality of cabinets etc. The sales representative Mary Jane has been very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable through our whole ordering/layout process. We met with her on multiple occasions, emails, etc. and she was always very responsive and helpful in all areas of the process. She deserved the 5 star review. Couple that with some quality pillows and new comforter we picked up too and our nights are totally different. Mike was extremely knowledgeable on the mattresses themselves and the types of products that are used with each brand. He wasn't pushy and made it a great buying experience. He treated us well and was very accommodating. I have had a mixed experience with Budget Blinds... I purchased my blinds (9 motorized and about 10…read moreothers) about 4 years ago, and they worked fine until one of them broke recently. They fortunately have a great return/exchange policy; however, the new products that are being installed lack the quality of the products that were used just a handful of years ago. Budget Blinds now needs to come back for a fourth time in a matter of two months to replace yet another broken motorized blind. The new blinds they sell are not compatible with the old blinds from just a handful of years ago, so the entire system for operating the blinds needs to be replaced, including: - 3 new remotes that only work for specific rooms instead of having one universal remote - a new hub that is extremely difficult to connect to Alexa and unreliable once connected - a new app that does not work nearly as well as the prior app. It's massively inconvenient, and I have lost a significant amount of time with repairmen at my house. To be clear, the service from Budget Blinds is great, but their product is terrible. I never would have bought if I knew the blinds were going to break this frequently. While the local branch may not have control of the products that they put in people's homes, they are ultimately responsible for doing what is right for the consumer. After four instances of broken blinds, I asked the local office to switch out all of my blinds from electric to normal, since those hopefully have a lower chance of breaking. They offered to switch out my electric blinds and credit me a very small amount of money on a per-blind basis. I was planning on using Budget Blinds for my new home, however I'm having a really hard time getting there at this point because the product is so incredibly bad. No amount of service can make up for a bad product, as it's massively inconvenient and is now costing me time to have these blinds in my house (which is a ridiculous thing to say, I'm aware, but it's the truth).
