Wow. Is all I can say! Brian is fantastic!! Story time: I went mattress shopping for the first time ever and I started this endeavor at another store in town. I had a horrible experience with the salmon there, who got angry with me for not purchasing a mattress immediately. I told him it was my day looking and wanted to take my time, but he wouldn't stop following me around saying he hopes he gets credit for my purchase if I decide to comeback another day. They didn't have the mattress in store that I wanted to try so I really wanted to go find it elsewhere to test it! I did not want to blindly buy it, but he kept insisting that I do. It was horrible and I just wanted to go home and be left alone. But my boyfriend made me stop at one more place on the way home which was this Mattress Warehouse. What a night and day difference! We walked in and were immediately greeted with a kind man that introduced himself as Brian. He was very personable! He immediately brought us out covers to try out mattresses on as a COVID measure (which the other store did not have and made me very uncomfortable and wanting to immediately shower!). He let us take our time testing things out and not being in our faces with pressure to buy. He really understands how to deal with people! We ended up buying a mattress from him that night and spent nearly an hour in there just chatting with him because he was so nice and fun! Our mattress arrived a few days later at our apartment and we having been having the best nights of sleep of our lives since then! (I highly recommend the Nectar bed!!) 5 Stars for how helpful and communicative Nancy W was to me. -1 star for corporate delay in refund. Nancy Wood was very helpful in helping me find what works for me based on my sleeping style and personal preferences. I purchased a mattress and she gave me her number in case I had any other questions. Circumstances changed before I took delivery, so I cancelled order by texting Nancy. Nancy was very understanding and helped me initiate the refund, informing me that I would receive a full refund in 6-7 business days. However, after 10 business days, I had not been refunded. I asked Nancy about it, and she confirmed that she has submitted the refund, and that from that point on, the corporate accounting handles the billing. I called corporate and was told to wait 1-2 more days. After 14 business days, no refund yet, and corporate told me that it would take 1-2 more days. I reached out to Nancy again, updating her with what has happened. She reached out to Exton Mattress Warehouse management, and together they nudged the accounting department. I was along for the ride with a family member while he was shopping for a king mattress. Our first visit was to gather information, and Brian did a sleep analysis on the machine and then did a thorough job explaining and showing us why he would do best with a softer mattress. He also explained the advantages of buying from Mattress Warehouse and what sets them apart from their competitors (there are many, so see or call store for details). That, combined with the excellent customer service, brought us back to Mattress Warehouse to make a purchase. On our return visit we dealt with Nancy, who was truly a pleasure to work with. She also really knew her stuff! After debating between two similar mattresses, the day after the purchase a decision was made to switch to the more expensive one. We got everything squared away with Brian's help and the updated order was still delivered in 2 days. I would highly recommend this location and will be a repeat customer. read more

After reading all the wonderful reviews about Nancy Ward, it was a "million to one shot" that we made her acquaintance, at the Mattress Warehouse Store in Glen Mills. We had just flown in from Florida for two weeks., to visit my Mother in Law, who is 95, with her bed way too high and she had trouble getting in and out. She also wanted to keep her wooden bed frame, which she has had since 1944, or 75 years, if you can imagine. We had to act fast. Nancy stopped by the store and we explained our dilemma, new mattress, and box spring, that would fit inside her bed frame. It was a long shot, but Nancy had a great idea and said, "let's go to her apt., in Maris Grove and have a look." She went way outside the box (nice pun) to help her. She measured everything up and made a super recommendation! We keep her bed frame, and install 3 metal beams and attach them to the ridge on each side of the bed. Then, put down a Bunkie Board, with a Serta Hybrid Plush Mattress. The bed would have no box spring. Nancy ordered everything on Thursday, 10/17/19, and it was delivered just two days later on Sat., 10/19/21. The installers were super and Mom loves the new mattress and the the height was lowered. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we could get this project completed before we returned to Florida, and in just 2 days, which is unbelievable. There is only one reason it all came together and that was because of Nancy Ward. Her customer service and professionalism were unparalleled and how many vendors would have gone above and beyond to help a client? Mattress Warehouse can be very proud of Nancy. She represents her Company in 5 star fashion and is a credit to her community. Our sincere thanks to her and if any of you are thinking of purchasing new bedding, go see Nancy. I went to the Mattress Warehouse to " Window Shop" for a replacement for a Kingsdown mattress that sagged within the first year. I made it clear to Nancy (Retail sales rep) that I did not purchase the mattress from her store and that I was granted a full like for like replacement direct from the factory. Even though there was nothing in it for her she could not have been more helpful, engaging and informative. I will definitely be a customer for my other five bedrooms in the future. I just wanted to view some of the mattresses when I came to this store. Then a salesman kept pushing that we do testing for the "perfect" mattress. Told him multiple times that I was not interested because I just wanted to see the price ranges to get a feel of what I want. It felt like he was trying to make us feel like we wouldn't find the perfect mattress because we didn't do this "testing". This is how you lose millennials as a customer base. We told this man multiple times that we were not interested, but he kept pushing it. We will not be purchasing our mattress here. read more

I stopped in to this store to check out a new mattress and some prices. Johnnie was very helpful and explained the differences between the many that he showed me. By the end of my visit I found something that I liked and was happy with and ended up making a purchase. I never felt pressured Both staff personnel were very friendly. I'd recommend this facility. ------- 7/30/18 Adding a 1 month update to my review. Within a couple weeks after my SERTA X8 mattress delivery, I was second guessing my choice in mattress. It's holding up well but I personally have not been comfortable sleeping in it. The feel just is not giving me that "ahhhhh" feeling I wanted with a new mattress. I stopped in and spoke with Nancy about my concerns and said I would give it a little more time to a let my body switch over from my very old mattress bed to this one. After a month, I returned again and asked if I could exercise my one-trade to something else because I just don't think this is the right bed for me. I have had nothing but a positive experience with the customer service I have received. Since I was the very 1st person to buy my mattress it was not in the "bed match system" when I first arrived. So we re-did the bed match now that it was updated. My mattress was not a match but the middle model was. After a long 2nd trip trying out different beds (now also understanding more what I wanted & did not want). I decided to invest a little more and get a KINGSDOWN- CLEAR BAY. Nancy was extremely helpful in re-explaining the differences between all the different options as well as what I originally chose with the X8. I never thought picking a new mattress would be much of a task, but I'm glad I had knowledgeable sales reps that truly took the time to guide me with the right choice. My first rep, Johnnie was very helpful to eliminate options I did not like and give me information to think about when I was reconsidering an exchange. Making the wrong 1st choice was all me, but helping to correct it the 2nd time I thank the MW staff for their patience with me. I am current waiting my new delivery/exchange confirmation. Between the two visits I must have spent a good part of an hour in every sleeping position on the KINGSDOWN and can not wait for it to arrive. I cannot concur on Nancy being "all that" - she WAS helpful, and did find us a quality, comfortable Sealy mattress (good luck cross comparing vs others as they always use names that differ for this very reason). When plugging in all of the numbers, the price came in $100 higher than the ACTUAL price. I had to call her the next day and call her out on the pricing error. Instead of fully accepting her error, she advised me that I should not in any way assume that she did this on purpose as that highly upset her and it's not how she does business. Funny, you are doing one thing and saying another. So, we got our $100 back. RE: Delivery, they tried to deliver our mattress at 8am on the day of our house closing - even though we specifically told her that it was the day of our closing - so they could not deliver it that day - or the next - so we waited two additional days for delivery. Even in that aspect, she told us time and time again how she stayed on the phone all day to get this done for us - like it was a HUGE favor - we are the customers. Customers keep the doors open. Not going back to that company, or person, for any future purchases. read more

One of the very worst retail experiences of my entire life, if not the worst. This is not a trustworthy nor competent company. It took them 4 deliveries to even deliver the correct mattress we purchased, and even then the quality of the one they finally delivered was no where near that which they represented on the floor. We offered to take the floor model and were denied vehemently, as if they knew they were baiting and switching the public. We later learned that mattress manufacturers actually make some of their products especially for Mattress Warehouse, and that despite trading on their earned reputation for quality the ones made for them are not to the same standards or the same quality. Do yourself a favor and steer very clear of this chain for your purchases and save yourself the incredible headache, and very possible back ache as well. read more

Mattress shopping is a hassle to begin with, then the runaround....I was in a few times to look for mattress, given a price and delivery fee. Went back to place order, and the price was suddenly $50 more and the delivery $10 more. Should have ran out the door then. I called the first thing next morning to canc order after realizing I could do better, was told salesman could not can order "because I don't have the button" the what?? "The button to canc the order, it has to go " all the way up to the district manager who can push the button". I will be calling this mamger myself to inquire about said "button" read more
