Smaller plants are both good and bad, depending on your needs. There are also a lot of great smaller flowers here for patio pots to add plenty of color! I found the edible plants for a vegetable garden to be much more extensive than Moon Valley Nurseries. So I guess it depends on what you're after exactly. I like that they sell a wider variety of fig plants, and was interested in one of them, but the two plants available didn't look the healthiest. I'm not sure I want to take the gamble on a fig tree that may or may not make it. The healthiest looking plants they had were their citrus trees, again plenty of variety. Still checking out nearby places before making any decisions.

I bought a tipu from there at the same time as another nursery (more expensive) and the Richard's tipu significantly outperformed!! I bought it two years ago and it's a HUGE tree now. Just the other day I received a call back as my Hong Kong orchid had all the leaves fall off, very patient/good advice (most importantly gave hope it's not gone). y HOA needed some new pool furniture - tables and benches. We had originally gone into Phoenix…read morePrecast directly, but their delivery prices seemed ridiculous. We went with another company (ALD Outdoors) who ordered from Phoenix Precast but could pick up and deliver for cheaper. I got a delivery date from ALD Outdoors of Aug 17th. On that day I went to my community pool and made sure all the deck furniture was out of the way and gave away the one table we currently had to a resident. No delivery. No call. Nothing. Now that wasn't Phoenix Precast's fault, but then I found out the reason. Phoenix Precast moved their production facility, which caused a delay, and never told ALD Outdoors. I got a call from ALD the next day explaining the delay. I called Phoenix Precast and found out that the move caused a 2 week delay and they had not even started work on our order. However, they told me they would try to move it up in production. They said they would not charge delivery. 2.5 weeks later I called again to see what the timing was like. The person who I talked to did not know the status, and did not know of the change to the price for delivery, but told me they would have someone call me. 2 days later - no call, so I called again, to find out the order was still at least a week out. I told them this was unacceptable and asked what they were going to do. They told me to talk to ALD Outdoors. When I said that this would do nothing, as ALD is not involved in their production, they didn't seem to care. Bad customer service. Even worse communication. Won't shop here again, and will advise my community not to do so either.
