I worked with Claudia-sent her pictures of our saguaros and she recommended that we straighten the 20+ foot one. Challi and his crew came out-after checking out the roots, he said the roots were rotting and the cactus could not be saved. The roots were all black and unhealthy. Very sad, but they removed the saguaro efficiently and cleaned up. Challi checked the roots on my other saguaro and felt the cactus could be saved. He placed a small brace just in case the roots system gives way, the cactus will fall away from the house. I was very confident with his recommendations. He provided a lot of good advice to us East Coast natives. He answered our questions and and helped us understand our irrigation system. As it turns out, the cactus was getting way too much water unbeknownst to us because it was watering below the ground level. Probably rabbits chewed the tubing. He is going to help us with a new saguaro in November when it is better to plant. A+++ read more

Contacted AZ Cactus Experts after my Saguaro started weeping black sap that went from barely noticeable to huge in the matter of a few weeks. After doing some research, I knew it was most likely going to mean removing the cactus after learning about what causes that. After thinking I got ghosted after approving their quote, Claudia got back to me after a few days explaining she had emergency surgery that had her down for a few days, which was totally understandable. On Wednesday, she said they had an opening for today (Saturday) at 4:30 and they showed up at exactly 4:30. That set a positive tone for their visit, as one of my pet peeves is when businesses don't show up when they say they will. I hope I didn't offend them by sitting outside and watching, but it was cool to watch how they did it. If only I had known back when I took some other cacti down myself, what I know now, it would have been so much easier. The guys got to work right away, laying tarps down around the Saguaro, before they started taking it down, arm by arm. Considering I wasn't sure it was going to remain standing until today with how bad it had started to lean, the trunk sure gave them a fight, but they got it down and when they began poking it, there was way more rot inside than I ever expected to see, proving just how amazing it was that didn't fall over after how bad this summer was for Saguaros. It took less than 90 minutes for the two guys to get it taken down and everything cleaned up. If you didn't know it was there, you'd never know when they left that they were even here. They filled in the hole and cleaned everything up. I am super impressed and am glad I didn't decide to go with a different company when I wasn't getting a response. They were the cheapest of the four quotes I got, but the earliest date the second cheapest company could give me was 11/5. If I had any other cacti, they'd be the one I'd call again if I needed anything. Really nice people to work with. read more

Our Cardon Cactus dropped an arm on a Tuesday. I thought it might be a good time to call someone out and take a look at it before one of us or one of our dogs got hurt--and maybe take the arms off that where leaning on my pergola as well. I called these guys up (spoke to Claudia) and she said they could be out on that Thursday (we lost another arm on Wednesday). Charlie and his crew (one guy really--wish I had gotten his name) showed up right within the promised time window and took care of it. And I mean care. I have been a homeowner since 1999, and never have I ever had a more considerate, professional, detailed, and meticulous crew work on any of the four homes I have owned. They were Knowledgeable and clearly worked extremely well together. And I have a very crowded, probably over-planted yard for living in AZ--meaning there is a lot that could get damaged from huge cactus arms falling down. Our 20foot tall saguaro cactus started leaning last year and with all th rain I was worried it could fall down. This cactus is beautiful and the loss would greatly impact our front landscape.
