She looked a bit annoyed and stated "...as long as it's $13.99 or under." I was perplexed. This morning, I placed an order because it said same day delivery was available. I waited all…read moreafternoon but they never came. So I checked the tracking and it said they tried to deliver but couldn't. That's crazy! I've been here all day! I called customer service and was told that the driver could not find the address and, therefore, they can't deliver it until tomorrow. My options were cancel the order or get it a day late, not even until midday the day after. The Home Depot is so big that they don't care about their customers. Losing a homeowner the next town over means nothing to them. They don't need the business and don't mind losing it. I am done with Home Depot at this point. You mess up and I am the only one inconvenienced or paying a price?! There are other options in the area: Koopman's for a locally owned place or Lowe's for the big box store. Even Walmart probably carries the items I ordered. I would have gone to one of these places this morning had I known Home Depot would not be coming but they waited until the end of the day when smaller hardware stores are closed to tell me they are not coming and to offer nothing in return. Stay away!
