This morning, I placed an order because it said same day delivery was available. I waited all afternoon but they never came. So I checked the tracking and it said they tried to deliver but couldn't. That's crazy! I've been here all day! I called customer service and was told that the driver could not find the address and, therefore, they can't deliver it until tomorrow. My options were cancel the order or get it a day late, not even until midday the day after. The Home Depot is so big that they don't care about their customers. Losing a homeowner the next town over means nothing to them. They don't need the business and don't mind losing it. I am done with Home Depot at this point. You mess up and I am the only one inconvenienced or paying a price?! There are other options in the area: Koopman's for a locally owned place or Lowe's for the big box store. Even Walmart probably carries the items I ordered. I would have gone to one of these places this morning had I known Home Depot would not be coming but they waited until the end of the day when smaller hardware stores are closed to tell me they are not coming and to offer nothing in return. Second time I've written about this...store has a mineral number of lumber carts available for contractors. I would say there are probably five to six carts of which there are always four or five that are tied up with orders. I go to very many home depots and there are always plenty of cards but this one in particular never has enough lumber carts available. Went there Saturday to buy paint. Asked for help a very short woman acted like we were bothering her by asking a question, she was clearly unhappy to help us. All we wanted to do was show her a picture on our phone of paint we had used before. She just about yelled because we asked her to explain the difference between sheen and semi gloss. This woman should not be working with customers. It's plain to see she hates her job and being short. We will not be back to this store again. We will use Lowe's . After several attempts to resolve the shipping issue, we decided to return the patio set.WE went to the Oxford Ma. store to return the furniture . At this point we were very frustrated, then we met Tina ! we explained the whole situation to her and she immediately sprung into action to resolve the problem. She made several phone calls,was able to have the money refunded to my wife"s Home Depot account and then assisted us with purchasing two new patio sets that we are enjoying now on our deck.Tina provided us with the best customer service we have ever experienced She went above and beyond to make us happy ! I purchased a Rheem hot water heater from the Home Depot in April 2022. It was leaking through the overflow pipe on the side. I called Rheem and they replaced the valve. It continued to leak so they said they would replace it. It was still under the manufacturer's warranty and I had bought the extended warranty. When the plumber brought the 10 month old water heater back to Home Depot, instead of replacing it with another water heater they charged me a prorated price of $314 for a new water heater. I was forced to pay this or I wouldn't have any water heater. What is the definition of the word warranty? I feel very ripped off, and I am telling everyone I know about this. I usually go to this store because it is closest to me but some of the aisle associates are rude and annoying on occasion. Particularly a women in electrical and the guy in plumbing. They seem to get agitated if they have to tell you twice that they don't have what you're looking for. They definitely need some sensitivity training for some of the floor people. read more

We visited 2 other Home Depot stores looking to purchase a washer and dryer without being talked to at one, and having the run of the mill "read the box" help at the other. We ended up at this location last since it was the furthest away. As soon as we started browsing Christine assisted us with choosing the right pair for our home. She was very knowledgeable on the products and process and detailed on the delivery process and what we needed. I am not usually a supporter of big box stores and would never review them but "Chris" was so helpful that she deserves a shout out! Thanks for all the help Chris! read more

We are long time customers, and absolutely love this Home Depot. From the time you drive in, the parking lot Is always clean and well cared for. When you go in, you are welcomed and sometimes given a flyer of some sort. The place inside Is always clean, well-stocked and orderly. We love browsing around checking out new merchandise and know we can get anything from washers and dryers to bird food along with anything and everything to maintain and make improvements on our home. The folks who work here are always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. When you are done, they have a couple of very helpful guys who will help load up your car or truck securely and safely and send you on your way. Home Depot is a great place to shop for all your household needs along with propane, nuts and bolts, rugs, plants, cleaners, flashlights, rakes, trees and gardening supplies, snow shovels, you name it - they probably have it. After Home Depot, you can stop on over to Market Basket and get some food shopping done. read more

Was here on Black Friday and was quite impressed. Not that the lines were that long but they had an employee walking around with a hand held scanner checking out people paying with credit cards. He just scanned the items, swiped your card and out you went. read more

I purchased a new refrigerator and scheduled delivery. Refrigerator was supposed to b unwrapped put in place handles installed and leveled. Instead it was left in adjacent room still wrapped and not put together. Delivery team stated they wouldn't put it together or even put it in place because "they don't do that." They were extremely rude, disrespectful and wouldn't even look at my agreement they just walked away from me while I was talking to them got in the truck and drove away. There was nothing in the way there were no clearance issues the opening for the fridge was the correct size and there wasn't anything that would delay or prevent the job from being completed. I had disconnectInstead the waterline and emptied the contents of the existing refrigerator and had all of the contents on my countertop before they got there. I spent over 90 minutes on phone with customer support waiting for driver to answer his phone for delivery services but he never answered. Supposedly another delivery team is coming 3 days later to finish the installation. I've been working in clients homes for almost 40 years and if one of my employees did that to a client I would fire them immediately. NEVER AGAIN read more

Their lumber selection is poor and never well stocked, the register staff is poor, the floor staff is normally very friendly and helpful though. Its very close, so I go here when I need to. Most of the time I will drive the 30min to the worcester lowes instead of going here, finding they're out of what I need or everything is warped and then having to go to worc anyways. read more

Many years of reviews, but only recently reviewed Home Depot. Third Yelp in recent weeks, because of outstanding help and advice from employees/associates. I know it's their job to help customers. This is different. John C. from plumbing helped me find what I needed with advice. My wife had an equally good experience from Carolyn. Kudos to respectful workers. Ty. My Aunt ordered a refrigerator which was to be delivered a week later. We had a four hour window. She called after about three hours to make sure she was on their list. The woman said to her yes she is on the list and they still have an hour and 15 minutes to deliver it. They never showed up. She called back and she was told they came and no one was home. We were both there all afternoon. And the time that they said they came was an 90 minutes before my Aunt made the call and was told she was on the list and they still had 1 hour and 15 minutes to deliver it. They told her they couldn't deliver the next day which was Saturday because the truck was already loaded and they don't deliver on Sunday or Monday. Even though the manager at Home Depot did sympathize with her It was a very frustrating situation. She had already waited a week for the original delivery. She went to a local business Saturday and bought the same refrigerator for less money and it was delivered on Monday. She cancelled Home Depot's order. Home Depot needs a better delivery service. read more
