Full sheet pizza 1/2 cheese 1/2 cupchar pepperoni.
    Joseph K.

We ordered take out from Matty's the first night in the area. The Buffalo style 1/2 tray pizza was great. The crust was soft and tasty. The sauce the perfect amount of sweet and right amount on the pizza. The char-cup pepperoni was so delicious, perfectly crisp. The sausage was great too. The garlic cheese bread uses their fresh made loaf bread sliced, garlic-ed up, crispy but soft. And desert was the piece de resistance. We chose to take an entire peanut butter pie back to the rental with us. Man, that pie was outstanding. A small slice is enough because it was so decadent. Hopefully we can make time for another dinner from Matty's while here. So... Update two days later, we ordered a full sheet pizza 1/2 cheese 1/2 cupchar pepperoni and another order of garlic cheese bread. Again, another stellar prefoamce by the team at Matty's. If we are ever.in the area again, we will be getting more pizza from Matty's.

    Inside front area.

Its amazing, but sometimes the screw it up and rush the pizza. The place is to small, and the free jolly ranchers are a nice touch.

All of that was positive. The food was tasty, and we all enjoyed our food. The bad outweighs the good. Our food took a long time. I mean 45 minutes for four people, one being a kids meal. I just had a chicken sandwich and two others had the roast beef sandwich. I ordered fried mushrooms they didn't come out until after my meal when I reminded them that I ordered them (I was kinda hoping for them as an appetizer). My husband asked if the sandwich came with au jus, and the waitress said "no, they are weird about that here". We didn't get horseradish with the sandwiches. It was just a strange experience to get no au jus or horseradish, or the appetizer, and have to wait so long for the meal. I felt like we were inconveniencing them for eating there. The food was good enough that I will most likely try again, but I'm really hoping I'll be able to update my review with a more positive experience.

I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition!

The service was really good, and staff was solicitous and friendly, despite it being quite busy. The food was delicious. The memu was typical fare, but with added flair. Side sauces for apps and sandwiches. I got a huge chicken sandwich with bacon and provolone cheese, and a beer and the price was very reasonable. To top it off, they had live music, a singer, guitarist, Kevin White, who was really enjoyable, and took requests! I would recommend this place highly.

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

Tables were too close, people are way too loud. I can't eat in loud surroundings. I don't like that, and it was so hot in there that it made me very uncomfortable. I believe all restaurants and bars, etc. should be air-conditioned and make people comfortable. If they're too cold, they can always put on a jacket but when you're too hot, I can't take much off. I ordered the roast beef on Weck and fries instead of potato chips. I was very satisfied it was delicious. Very expensive, I found everything was very expensive on the menu, but if you want good food, I guess that's what you gotta do is pay more. Jim ordered mild wings, they still looked good even though I'm a hot wing person. I was looking at everybody else's huge plates of wings that were coming out and they looked so amazing. I'm definitely gonna get some to take home some time. Anyway, the wings looked good smelled good, Jim said they were very good, my sandwich was good. The fries were good, the waitresses were nice so the service was pretty good. But again too small, too loud, too hot, and those things just don't make me happy. I probably would go in there again and eat if somebody else wanted to, but I'd rather take my food to go next time. One other issue I had is definitely the restroom. That had to be the smallest stall I have ever been in. Anytime I moved I banged into one of the walls. They have two stalls in there, which to me is definitely not enough when you're serving "spicy hot " food. At one point there was five people in the restroom. Luckily, I just had to wash my hands in that visit. But the restroom is way too small and when I talk to Jim about the ladies room, he said the men's room is super small too, so they're probably about the same size. So that was definitely a negative thing for me was the restroom.

It was the kind of evening that makes you want to linger. The beef on weck was a classic done right--tender, flavorful, and true to its New York roots. We finished with a slice of key lime pie that hit all the right notes: bright, creamy, and not too sweet. Service was fast and friendly, and everything arrived hot and fresh. We would have come later, had we been given accurate info. Also, we were told the music ends on Sunday hours earlier than on other nites, so we booked for sunday, so we could actually talk over dinner. That info was also incorrect; music ended later than we were told, so we ended up eating inside even tho our desire/plan was to eat outside. When we made our reservation online, we requested an outside table; the e/m confirmation stated inside. We called and were told all reservations are for inside b/c outside is first come, first served. Why weren't we told that in our initial phone call? Why doesn't the website state that? Jennifer, our waitress, was attentive, friendly, helpful. Except, once we had decided what we would like to order then we were told everything they were out of, which, unfortunately, included what we desired for entrees. Companion's fish fry was large and good. My grain bowl, however, was skimpy, the vegetable medley consisted of a few green peas, and the shrimp was overcooked/tough to chew or cut. the Korean BBQ sauce just tasted like regular bottled bbq sauce. The wine list was short, but the cabernet sauvignon was very good. There were 2 desserts offered; we chose the chocolate cannoli cake, which was excellent! Overall, disappointing and not on our list of places to return to.

We ordered two flavors of non-Buffalo boneless: hot honey and dr pepper char-bq, and a side of onion rings. I had soda, hubs had a cocktail of which I tried a sip. My favorite part of dinner was the cocktail; if I hadn't been designated driver I would have enjoyed having this. I can't remember which one it was, but it was my kind of cocktail; very fruity, somewhat sweet. Not fancy-schmancy but tasting very good. The onion rings were the breaded kind rather than the crispy bread crumb kind, they were fine but not standout. The wings... eh. I am a big fan of Plucker's Dr. Pepper BBQ wings but I didn't love these. The char taste was actually overpowering and I expected a bit more sweet to the sauce than it had. The hot honey was also charry and not super sweet. It was all fine, but not something I would crave. The place has a cute casual ambience and our food came out fast, there wasn't a crowd though on the weeknight we were there. I'd come either to drink or because friends really wanted to but otherwise I probably wouldn't request it. But, like I said, I'm not a tabasco fan so I couldn't partake in what they are known for and what they (probably) do best, so I don't say this to discourage others - mainly just so I remember my own opinions.
