"I have to figure out how to park and then move my stuff up to the room..." Wah wah. Is this not what you do for a living?! In my lengthy morning phone call with her, while I basically waited on the phone while she talked to herself back and forth about what time would be best for her and the "logistics", she said that if I wanted a morning appointment the following day, that would be best for her. I told her 7:30 the next morning was fine and gave her my hotel info. She called later that evening and left a vmail that we "have to talk to get organized for tomorrow." I didn't get that message until the next morning. So she was a no show, and then didn't reply to any of my texts or calls. Oh, but she butt-dialed me mid-day. Awesome. Life went on; I wasn't perfectly bronzed for our family beach portraits but who cares. I'm glad I wasn't counting on her for my wedding day or something more important. Brides beware! For the record, womanly intuition tells me she is "going through something" since all her other reviews are glowing.

Wendy uses the best, high quality products and makes suggestions / recommendations to best suit my needs and skin tone. She is efficient, professional, and passionate about her services and delivering great results! After living on Maui for over 10 years now, I'm VERY careful about how much time I spend in the sun. I have been going to Wendy yearly for the last 4 years. This last year, I was worried that Wendy was booked and booked first with someone else. The original lady I booked an apt with completely bailed on me twice. Both times she had bizzare reasons. I was floored. But, Wendy was so wonderful. She got me in. I left from San Francisco to go to Maui without the time to get a spray tan prior to leaving. I frantically searched for a place to get a spray tan and found her through Yelp. She gave me clear instructions on what to do prior to arriving and sent me home with directions on how to care for my spray tan. Her very relaxed and sweet personality made me feel instantly relaxed. This is a great new spray on tan company which has a nice little salon making you feel at home in the tropics. It's airy, cool and very clean. We use an all natural solution that smells lightly of coconut. The Tan last from 5 to 12 days and only takes 10 minutes to spray on. Mobile tanning is available to! Lashes last, glue doesn't irritate my eyes and she has a variety of looks and lengths for lashes. Since they have expanded to the new location I also had a cupping by Mel. It was so rejuvenating, I felt like it was thousands of little fingers massaging my back. She will cup you as you need it, but does an awesome job so you walk out refreshed. I look forward to trying the new and improved mystic tan later this week.
