I been 4 times in this establishment, the first time was a ok experience.(only did mani pedi) 2nd time I lost 3 nails in the 3rd day after i got tips done(not acrylic) I'm not that toxic so I told to myself this things happen. And let it go. 3rd time the lady was in such a rush that she did a shitty job, when she done she even said sorry I have to pick up my son, which I understand I'm a mother and I'm so nice and try to understand, I did not say nothing. Today I went back and it's the last time I do so. The lady was so rude and impatient. When I walked in I told the lady who greeted me that I wanted ACRYLIC, she said of course sit. Then the other lady come get me and I show her the design I wanted , she hardly was even listen to me, she proceeded to foil my nails to remove the Gel polish I had on, I was tightening the foil and rudely she ask me not to remove the foil!!! I was like, lady this is not the first time I do my nails, but I just told her I'm not and try to let go on her attitude, by the time she was removing the polish I was busy working with my phone for 30seconds, and even apologized for that but had to move a little answering text that couldn't wait, to what she was making faces and telling me with her body language, basically stop moving lady, even though I use just the one hand she was not working on!!!, then she was measuring the tips and realized pretty late that she was getting ready to glue tips instead of doing ACRYLIC, so I told her hey wait I don't want tips, she annoyed said something in her native language and said to me why till now, I said well I told them at the door. (is not my fault you are not communicating or even bothering to ask your customer what they want) or maybe if she was listening to anything I said at the very beginning, anyways don't go there unless you are prepared for a mediocre rush shitty job and rudeness. I never ever do this kind of reviews, but sometimes they push to hard, they don't charge cheap you know, I'm a professional nail technician but sometimes you wanna be pampered for someone else instead of doing it yourself. I needed that today, not to be treated like I'm an annoying customer, because I'm not. She should not be allowed in the CARE industry with that awful attitude. All they care is for money. This was easily the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I went there last week with my sister, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated like an inconvenience. The staff we encountered were rude, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in making anyone feel welcome. On top of that, they did a sloppy job--our nails were left streaky and just bad coverage over all. the 2 ladies we encountered were grumpy, bossy, and not one smile was cracked the entire time. We were barely 10 minutes in and already regretting staying, but our feet were already soaking in the tub. To make it even more bizarre, the technician working on my sister made her pay halfway through--she had gel polish, so it wasn't to prevent smudging. Normally, you pay when the service is done. I wasn't asked to pay early, so it felt inconsistent and uncomfortable. Next time, I'll be going somewhere that actually values their customers and understands professionalism. Then, like an idiot, I went back for a fill. Ease will make us do dumb stuff. I was asked to come back in an hour. I returned then waited 30 minutes with zero communication while several people were taken ahead of me. Then I was asked to sit down only to be asked to get up 10 minutes later. Get up? Yea, sure! Get up and leave! Everyone loves having their time wasted? Right? No. Then just look around their everything is dirty. Just a thin film of yuck everywhere. I was lucky enough to find this place and Cathy who is a nail Tek here. She is awesome! I wanted a specific look that I had showed her on Pinterest. They didn't have the color but she somehow made it with two different gel polish colors. She listens and is a perfectionist. I would recommend her to anyone! Lani did my pedicure and was awesome too! Me and my boyfriend were visiting Maui, on our last day we had some time to kill so we decided to get pedicures. We looked this place up on yelp and saw that their most recent reviews were majority positive, I like to give places the benefit of the doubt. I'm not saying this was the worst pedicure but it wasn't as relaxing as i was hoping. For starters when we first walked in they were already asking us what we wanted done, repeatedly, even after we told them we weren't sure and needed to look at the services offered (at this time we were unsure if we wanted pedicures or facials) after they continuously asked us we just said pedicures, and asked how long the wait would be, they said they could take us right then. That was great. So were seated, next to each other. Again great. Now as she begins the pedicure, I had to ask HER if she wanted me to move the chair forward (I have short legs) she then just took the remote and moved it. Then throughout the whole pedicure she seemed rushed, cleaning under my toenails quickly, which made it tender. And the massage felt as if she was using her nails? Again, a little sore. She finished up the painting and then moved on to the next person. Now I know why she was rushing. On the contrary, my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his pedicure. I was in desperate need for a pedicure while vacationing in Maui. The day after we finished a 11-mile hike in the Haleakala National Park, we all needed just a chill day and some much needed love for our feet. This place was the only we found to be open and accepting walk-ins in the Lahaina area. The place itself was very spacious. There are plexi glasses separating the massage chairs, but you will still be relatively close to the person next to you. They really took their time with my foot massage and pedicure, which I so appreciated. It was $30 for a pedicure before tax and tips, and you can only tip in cash, so make sure you bring some with you. Overall, I think the service and quality is worth the money in a resort town. read more

Do not recommend ! Especially if you looking for good quality . I tried their manicure few times with Helen because friend of mine recommended her . And she was always available literally next day . BUT Every time there was something I didn't like . And every time I would tell her about it . First time I didn't like that nail polish was peeling so she recommended gel polish and said that it's stronger . Ok . Still not happy , started to chip in few days ! Next time I mentioned it , she recommended something else and said it's expensive $85 but will last you very long time . Ok I told her right the way , price is not a problem . All I care is quality , clean nail , cuticle and fresh color . I showed her a photo of desired manicure and asked few times if she able to do it and if she has enough time for it . I asked her if she can make it THIN layered and clean . She said "yes darling ! Everything for you !" I wasn't watching her detaily during the process because cleaning nails and skin around it before ANY manicure has to be a must . As a result cuticle WASN'T touched at all !! So manicure looked messy . Nails looked wider then they actually are because she applied too many layers and TOO THICK on a sides but at the same time too far from cuticle !! And I only noticed it after she was done and I mentioned it right the way . Her answer was , that I was supposed to tell her before about cutting cuticle and that it is an extra charge to clean cuticle . Seriously ? Cleaning Cuticle is NOT INCLUDED in you manicure so be aware ! And they apply color very far from skin so it looks like it's not fresh and as it's been already a week since manicure ! I wish I looked at photos on Yelp before so I would understand that myself already .. This manicure was done a day before my professional maternity photoshoot and it was important for me to be done perfectly so I left very very upset . I wanted to get them removed literally right the way but I didn't have time for it and I left to Honolulu next day . Two weeks later I came back and messaged Helen that I want to get my nails removed that they bother me and also one nail chipped even she promise was to last "very long time " ... She said that has no time for me !! Not in a week or even two ! That she is fully fully busy . This sounded rude to me and I didn't believe she was that super busy , she obviously just didn't want to deal with me because I am picky and couldn't explain it to me in a professional manner and take responsibility for her work that I wasn't happy with . I know that I am picky that's why I also ask ahead if something could be done in an way I want it or not !? Because if not I better find a place that could . I am always ready to pay extra and I tip good for my pickiness . All I want is quality ! So I ended up coming to David's happy nails and getting my nails removed by different person . She charged me $15 for removal . It's ok but I would assume that if client is unhappy would be fair to get it done for free ) so I left very disappointed with this place . I really wanted to like it . In general girls that work there try to be friendly and take a good care of clients in "a way they know it " .
