It's a cozy arena setting where you can sit on the grass or bring your own chairs and pop up shade tents. The family events include lead-in keiki polo as well as proper club play. Annual charity events bring out the community to watch and participate. Very casual and relaxed because it's all about having a good time. Canoe racing using flat-bottom boats was added to the high-power boat races taking place between the two piers in Kahului Harbor Hawaiian Canoe Club now serves hundred of keiki every summer through the Hawaiian Kamali'i Summer Enrichment Program.
