Her tone was very rude from the beginning. During the time my friend was looking at dresses, she tells her, "don't stretch the dress out." My friend was literally just holding the dress open to see how wide it was, like any normal person. As soon as my friend finished trying on a dress and decided she didn't want it, we came to the lobby to discuss where we were about to go next, and the lady comes right behind us telling us we're about to close so y'all need to leave (not in a nice or professional manner). My friend asked, "y'all close at 5 right?" The lady responds back to us by saying we operate by appt only, y'all need to leave. So now that she is giving us straight attitude. I told her to give us a second. She repeated herself again, and tells us "goodbye" in like a leave tone of voice. So they literally kicked us out to the curb. We were standing there for 1 minute when she was trying to tell us to leave. Like you can't stand in a store for a few minutes. Mind you, there was no one else there, so we weren't tying her time up or anything. I would go somewhere else for your dresses. Plus she made it super clear, they don't do alterations. She has no idea where they do alterations. She has no idea where a mall is. So yes. Stay away from here. Horrible service. Wish I could tell your her name, but she refused to answer. As I'm writing this outside (because we were waiting on our Uber), a different lady comes out and asks me if I want a business card. I said sure. She was very confrontational. I told her the lady informed us that this was by appointment only a store, and that we were not aware of that. But nothing on their website says by appointment only. She said, "we prefer by appt only," so I said well that's different than kicking your customer out (after your let them look for a dress) and tell your customers that your by appt only... not preferably. I told her we're from out of town and just needed find a dress last minute so we did not know that, and that's no reason to treat your customers like that. She goes on to continue arguing with me and tell me, "well the other out of town people seem to know." You see where I'm going with this?? Like who argues with there customer and talks disrespectful to them? No business I go to. I wasn't going to stand there and argue with this rude person any longer, who was clearly not apologetic for the way her business partner treated us, so I tried waking away. She kept trying to argue as I was leaving and I told her to shut up. So she walked out of her business, propped the door, and began following me like she was going to fight me. I continued to walk away with my other friends as she was threatening me. I had to tell her I was going to call the cops, and she finally backed off. This is the worst experience I've ever had. A business owner verbally disrespectful, excusing her behavior instead of apologizing for it, and then following me out on the street to fight? If that isn't enough to steer you away from here, then good luck. You'll be in for a real... experience.

I was on FaceTime with the client showing them the patches available in the store. While I was browsing, the fat head lady behind the counter told me to take pictures of the patches I was interested in and bring them to the counter for pricing. When I came up to ask about the price of one of the patches (a rice box patch), she asked if I had taken a picture. I told her I thought I had but realized it didn't take while I was on FaceTime. I then asked, " you have more than 1 patch thats a box of rice?" She stated "possibly!" She then asked what was wrong with me. I told her I was irritated and simply being honest that I'm human and having a moment. Instead of continuing the conversation or helping me, she told me my energy was bothering her and refused to serve me. She stated that again when I advised her she still diet answer my two simple questions. I left the store feeling disrespected and shocked that I was denied service for simply expressing that I was irritated. I started to browse the racks; I came specifically for a pair of dress pants. The store seemed to mostly hold casual wear and it was not very easy to identify sections of casual wear, business attire, etc. I'm not sure if it is just this location or all of Lane Bryant, but finding any business attire was difficult as most of the clothing seemed to be just tops (not blouses) and loungewear. Of what was priced, the prices seemed astoundingly high and not even everything had a price. As I browsed, I made my way deeper into the store near the counter where I saw two employees talking to each other. As I continued, they greeted other guests who'd come in that were of similar skin tone as them, but not myself or the few other women that had my skin tone. I found a few pairs of slacks that might work, so I approached the staff to inquire on fitting rooms. I was told to just pick a room and she pointed toward a corner of the store. I pulled a few pants off the rack in the fitting room also, where you hang what didn't work out, as it was quite full. That fitting room rack is actually where I found the pair that I ended up purchasing. I made the purchase solely in that I didn't feel like going to more stores and the pants I found should work. There is plenty of parking outside but it can get pretty hectic when the parking lot is crowded as it makes it difficult to maneuver getting out.
