Not only was I not greeted but more like ignored by Lauren at the front counter. After she avoided looking up at me as I stand in front of her at the register, I went ahead and said hello and that I was there for an online order. She proceeded to let me know she'd get with me when she can that she had many things she already was doing. I let her know that's okay and began looking around. I could tell she was either having a bad day or overwhelmed (Although in the store there was maybe 3-4 people including the fitting area). Once I seen her head to the back I thought I'd be nice and head back there so she could do a measurement without having to walk to the counter and then back to the bra area. Not only did she rudely ask for my ID when I asked her to do the measurement while still holding the bag in the middle of the store she did not offer me a bag to put my online purchase in nor did she ask me to check it. Lauren conducted the measurement in the most demeaning way she had me hold the measurement tape to my bust and spin around and when I went "to fast" she yelled at me to stop. She then told me my measurements which seemed completely off because I recently lost a significant amount of weight and that was bigger then any bra size I've had since wearing a bra for 17 years . I asked her was she sure and seen her look up to make a face at her coworker at the register as if I shouldn't have questioned her. I went ahead and thanked her and did not purchase a bra there but instead went and got measured somewhere else which was 5 sizes smaller then what she told me and bought a bra on torrids website. If I shop with torrid ever again it will not be at this location, which is disappointing because It's the closest and I have shopped here for years at this location. I've had many encounters with Lauren, she is never welcoming or nice but today she was plain rude and disrespectful.

I placed an order over 14 days ago that still shows processing. When I contacted customer support…read moreabout it all they did was send me a link to their processing and shipping policy. Which, in the policy she sent me it stated that processing was 1-2 business days and shipping was up to 10 business days. However, my order is still in processing after 14 days and nobody is willing to look into the issue further. Also, if you want to talk to an agent on the live chat option, you better be prepared to sit and wait and don't leave that page or your computer. Each time I leave the page for more than a coupe of minutes it ends the chat and I have to start all over again, even though there are 20-50 people ahead of me in queue. It has happened to me 2 time in the past week. Today when I entered the chat waiting room there were 83 people ahead of me and when it got down to 53 people ahead of me I left the page to do some work while I was waiting, I came back in 3-5 minutes and it had ended. When I opened up another chat I was then placed at #99 in queue and am currently toggling back and forth every 60 seconds so I don't lose my spot. I had a similar issue 2 days ago when I tried reaching out. I get it that people are busy and everyone is doing the best they can given the current pandemic, but at least fix your system so that we can at least get assistance. And some agents that are actually willing to look into issues wouldn't hurt either. User's recommendation: Be cautious.

I'm addicted to Torrid and have been shopping here for years. The manager of this location…read morerecognizes me when I come in. I don't know if that's good or bad. Haha. Here's the run down: Torrid used to be the fat chicks answer to Hot Topic. Over the years they have shifted from goth to a more sophisticated style. I wouldn't say slutty, but they celebrate the curves of there clientele. The prices can be a bit high, but if you watch for sales and shop the clearance racks you can get some great deals. The sizing is 0-4. If it is your first time shopping there talk to an associate and they will help you through sizing. The sizing in their clothes is consistent. The quality is excellent. They carry items from accessories such as rings, scarves, etc. all the way to formal gowns when it is the season. Plus size Halloween costumes, lingerie, jeans, coats, etc. I've been personally pleased with everything I've purchased. They even have shoes and boots. (Major plus that with the current style of taller boots their boots have wider calf measurements.) The staff at both locations are always super friendly and amazing. I can't tell you how many times I've come out of a dressing room asking for help or opinions, and received honest opinions. Not just a sales person trying to sell me more stuff. The down side to Torrid: (This is Torrid in general and not related to either location) There are only two locations in the St. Louis area that I know of. Each carried a very different selection of clothing and the shipments each receives are limited in what they receive. They may only receive 1 of each size in a particular item. (Plus is that if you see an item on Torrid.com and call with a description, the stores will pull the item in your size and hold it for you.) There are a large number of "Internet Only" items on the website. The one plus is if you purchase something online and decide to return it, you can return it to the stores, unless it is clearance. All clearance sales are final. It is well posted in the stores and online. Because the stores are not that large (this one being larger than the other in West County Mall) there is a limited selection on shoes. It seems what they have is what they have, in other words there is not a stash in the back. And shoes can take up a lot of room so the shoe area is sometimes a mess. The lingerie, for whatever reason, doesn't fit me the way I would like it to. I don't know if it is the cut or what. The panties are fine. The bras...no way. And the items they call "bustier" and "corsets" are neither. They lack support, have plastic boning, etc. In my opinion...a waste of money. I'm only giving Torrid four stars because of the limited selection of sizes. Again, not the fault of this location, but I'm because they have limited space. Oh, and price because, well...I want everything to be less expensive. If you are a plus size lady looking for anything from jeans and tshirts, to work attire, or a party dress, give Torrid a shot.

I had double mastectomy and am so thankful for Ann's. I just went back to get boobs for swimming! They have everything. I developed a brand called "boobtique" for women to get what they need for their breast cancer journey when they don't know what they need. I'm still completing my brand with my wellness studio in Ballwin called Elevate wellness studio as well as owning two OsteoStrong facilities in the St. Louis area. I am also a portrait of hope for the ACS. In April 2026 I needed another reconstruction and went to Ann's bra shop 3 days after surgery to get the bra(s) I needed. I told my husband on the way there - I just want you with me to help me - I know what we need and I don't want anyone else helping us; you're my support system and I want you with me. He said. "Ok. I got you!" NOBODY greeted us when we talked in. NOBODY asked us if we needed help. NOBODY told us where fitting rooms were. We chose 4 bras and went into the dressing rooms that appeared open to the public. My husband helped me and then when I needed a different size he went to go get it for me. This is a very emotional time for a woman and scars and lack of mobility are a real thing. They told my husband he had to leave the dressing room after they came in with I had no clothes on my upper body. They didn't ask to come in or anything. They made my husband leave. I sat down on the bench all alone in the dressing room. I started breaking down into tears bc I didn't want to feel alone and I didn't want a stranger to help me. I needed my husband who was my support system. We were not told there was a special private room. We were not told anything. I bought one bra, simply because it was the day before Easter and I needed one to wear to church tomorrow that wasn't uncomfortable and now I'll buy the rest elsewhere. I was left feeling alone, sad and unsupported and no questions were asked on how to make me feel more comfortable. I will never be back. I own my own business where I deal with survivors all the time and I will not refer anyone your way because you do not make me feel comfortable or supported. I do not need a response from you defending yourself - I wasn't greeted at your facility, I didn't know the protocol and nobody asked if we needed help. I suggest you work on your company culture.
