Today, I spent a lot of time, combing through the hardware to find the right fasteners that I needed for my project. When I went to check out, the lady at the register said that the considerate thing for me to do would be for me to provide all the stock numbers for the hardware. In my opinion, I'm the paying customer and the employees of Lowes should be happy that I chose their store to shop at. They shouldn't put an employee who is going to struggle to ring loose hardware up at the register. On another point, why does Lowes want to scan my drivers license when I show them my military ID for a military discount? They give me trouble and tell me they can't give me the discount without it but then turn around, push a few buttons and verify my military ID. Lowes has no business with my drivers license. I think I can speak for most men and some women, that it used to be fun to go to the hardware store and do a little impulse buying but Lowes has gotten so greedy that I now buy ONLY what I need and am quick to return anything I don't use, doesn't satisfy me 100% or I find cheaper somewhere else. As a matter of fact, I always check Amazon and compare prices right there in the store. Not a happy customer!

I've had one tell me I couldn't order something off an upcoming truck when I know for a fact I can because I have. As for price - I think this place is pretty competitive. Their base 11 and 12% feed is priced great and is cleaner than most at that price. Their name brand feed and bagged alfalfa is also reasonable. I also found their heated water buckets to be FAR cheaper (for the same model) than on Amazon. Their bulk bird seed is also reasonable and great quality. Lots of selection - We've bought horse feed, chicken feed, dog and cat food, combo panels, Priefert gates, nuts, bolts, dog kennel panels, electric fencing parts, horse halters, lead ropes, tools, work gloves and much more here. They have just about everything you need around the farm. If you're in the area, I'd say stop by and have a look around! Oh, and they also sell clothing and hunting supplies.

At these prices with effort for a quick & short ownership this place is worth a look. Some things seem not best designed like an LED overhead light was 5,000 lumens and one strip. We bought one only 4,000 & split between 2 strips from Walmart that didn't blind us as bad. Return policy was good. Buying weird temporary items always is best here.

She explained the many choices on refrigerators in the store and helped me to decide the best option for me. Home Depot is so absolutely lucky to have her as an employee. HD, some of us cannot shop during the day, so it would be nice if you could staff associates who could help and that are knowledgeable. When you have to walk from the flooring to the front registers just to find help, then get sent back to that department for no one to ever show up to assist, you lost a customer(s). Send in some secret shoppers or teach your employees to offer help. It would probably get your sales #'s up, not down!

I was told by an employee that they don't accept or even sell furniture. The Festus Goodwill looks like it was a last minute decision to open a store within an empty building. I have walked out of there twice without buying anything. Don't even get me started on the prices.
