We parked and so happened to have parked right in front of this adorable consignment store. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly storekeeper. :) She was the owners adult daughter and an artist vendor there. She was so sweet and friendly and helpful. They have Plus Size Women's Clothes, which is always a joy for me! :) I ended up buying a pair of LIKE NEW pants and an adorable shirt....for $12...one of my items was 75% off. I feel like it was destiny. Then we just looked at all the tid-bits of goodness, all around. Car fresheners, hand-embroidered items, unique knitted earrings and so much more! It was a great adventure. We're so glad we found this place. :) We will be back!

Over time I've noticed prices steadily increasing to the point that many items are priced at or above what I can find online. In my experience, pricing often appears to be based on asking prices rather than actual sold values, which makes it difficult to find genuine thrift-store bargains. Many collectible items seem to remain in the display case for weeks or months without selling, suggesting the pricing may not reflect current market demand. Selection can be hit or miss, and I rarely leave feeling like I've found a great deal anymore. While some staff members have always been kind and helpful, the overall shopping experience feels much less welcoming and community-oriented than it once did. As someone who both shopped and donated here, I've decided to take my business and future donations elsewhere. I personally recommend checking out Thrifters Rock or Family Thrift in Palmer, where I've had better luck finding reasonably priced merchandise.

We have been loyal customers of the Deuce ever since we moved here two years ago…read more It is one of the better second hand stores. There's not much to it. Folks donate junk they don't want, we show up and buy it. Charities benefit. If they've over priced, we decide how badly we want it and factor in that all proceeds benefit a cause. This store is really well organized with a huge variety of junk. Prices are great, especially for clothes. They have a massive dvd and book collection. Even a nice selection of Alaska based writings. Take care, remember it's donated stuff other people didn't want. Sometimes that means damaged or in need of repair. Buy accordingly. I know it's for a cause, but there are times when it's fun to dicker, especially when something's broke and so are we! I've bought cool shot glasses, growlers, tools and OSU Buckeye dolls. I've even found my favorite candy bars at a nice price. Even at their peak the line moves quickly so it's a very efficient process. The folks are fun to deal with, super friendly! 08/23

This shop is kind of a hole in the wall shop that I accidentally found while looking for the Valley…read moreMedical supply for scrubs. It's located in a building that hosts a community of shops including, a florist, a game type area, and a couple other stores that I failed to recall after I left the last couple times. When you first walk in, you kind of get an overwhelming sense of a thrifty, inexpensive, almost seedy feeling of a shop. The shop owner does have some beautiful finds that she showcases for customers to see, but they seem a little pricey for being a used/consignment shop. There's also a couple pieces of furniture for sale as well, but definitely in an as-is condition. When the owner isn't there, the staff seems pretty hesitant on making even little haggling decisions on items. They have all sizes, all styles, along with all weather and all occasion clothing. (Great place to find a formal!) My last visit found me leaving with a business casual dress ($4), three sleeveless tops ($6), and a pair of shorts ($2.75). It takes time to peruse... but if you're diligent, you'll get a great deal! Tip: don't shop in the middle of summer... You'll overheat once you've been wandering the store for a while and it'll be miserable trying clothes on that already smell questionable in the warmth despite plans to take them home to wash and it will probably deter you from spending money... Remember, you're going to be able to wash your purchased clothing, so don't mind the smell. Happy thrifty hunting!

This was never mentioned when we entered, and I have honestly never encountered a policy like that before. We were asked to hand over our purses, which were then taken to the front of the store while we continued shopping. When it came time to check out, the cashier asked whether I was paying with credit or debit. After I said credit, I was told I had to show my ID in order to use my credit card. Between having my purse taken and then being asked for identification just to complete my purchase, I felt like I was being treated with suspicion the entire time. It was an incredibly uncomfortable shopping experience. Afterward, I spoke with several people who have shopped at this store multiple times, and they told me they have never been told about or experienced a "no bag policy." If this policy does exist, it should be clearly communicated to every customer upon entering, not enforced after they've already been shopping for half an hour. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I don't plan on returning.
