Scott who we have spent the most time with is quite personable and really goes out of his way to take care of his customers. In our first interaction more than a year ago we went in shopping for a mattress to put on a child's bunk bed. We were looking for a comfortable, affordable mattress. They didn't try to sell something we couldn't afford, instead we were directed to exactly what we needed. As a result we have returned twice more. The prices were fair, in one case he even found extra savings for us in the form of a manufacturer deal that arrived in the mail while we were there looking around. They let us purchase a mattress, then return it when it wasn't quite the right one for us a couple weeks later, then helped us purchase the perfect mattress. We have been sleeping great ever since! We also purchased a sturdy bed frame, bunk bed foundations and all for great prices. They also offer a more affordable, higher quality mattress protector than we have seen elsewhere. It is nice to visit with someone who knows their products and can offer helpful advice. They have treated us very well as customers and we will be back again.

What's not tolerable is the giant piece of metal that somehow found its way poking out of the side of the mattress that I found with my leg. I attempted to contact the company twice with absolutely no response. The mattress isn't even 6 years old, we've only had it 4 or 5 I think (it sat in a warehouse from the "made date on the tag) So mattress mania has gone out of. Haines and woudlnt release any warranty paperwork to us, and these people won't reply or help either- event hough their mattress is defective. Looking at another reviewer it seems I won't be getting any help either. So- buy your mattress here with caution. If I hear back and they decide to do the right thing and honor their warranty, for a mattress that has metal poking out the side enough to stab me as I get into and out bed I'll update my review. Update 1- I was finally able to call, and the rep (Noelle?) was very nice. She seemed concerned with where I sent the email, and when I advised it was the website, she was concerned the form might not be working. She immediately offered three ways to send a warranty claim form, and gave clear instructions on what they need from me. I updated stars based on her- I'm still not pleased with the mattress issues, but Based on my interaction with her, I am hopeful they will resolve the issue. And whether the company chooses to or not, Noelle as a rep was really pleasant to deal with.

Justin worked with us to confirm the height of our bed and headboard, the dimensions for our nightstands, and the dimensions and specific design of our dresser. We're very happy with the result. Prices are fair for the quality of the work. We have been very happy with the craftsmanship. The custom nature of these orders means there is a wait time, but we were in no rush and were very happy with the products we got. I will highlight that we specifically asked about low VOC finishes and were assured that's what they use. When our bed arrived, it had no smell. Our dresser does have a very strong smell and it does transfer onto clothes still, even though we aired out of room for a day after it arrived, wiped it down, and it's been 4 weeks now. White glove delivery was also included and both times (it was two separate orders, months apart) the delivery people were professional and were careful about placing items where we wanted, and not damaging anything while entering our home / navigating stairs and tight corners.
