The fuel is Exxon, and is moderately priced for the higher octane (my cars usually have to run 91 min). If I don't feel like driving all the way out to wherever then I'll stop by here to quench the thirst of mein auto. New-ish sure means that the parking area and storefront are always clean, but that also comes with great care from the always gleeful employees. The car wash is ideal if you're alright with a brush and touch system. It's what you'd expect and you get what you pay for in that regard. I can't say anything about Inferno: Food By Fire, because I have yet to try it and I don't know if I will. (As I know where I like to go grab pizza from in town; see a previous review.) The last thing I have is pricing. Other than the fuel, most items are actually a little out of hand, but I suppose par for the area. Those that want will pay for it. Now, I feel the beginning makes a little more sense here at the end. They can call themselves "Common Cents" but they should actually be named "Common $$$."

I ordered from the app so it's no big deal to me,but when I walked inside there were two older ladies trying to figure out these stupid kiosks. They were getting really aggravated trying to figure it out. I'm sorry to say that I offered my help and they looked at me like I was a predator and they told me they had it. I just told them no problem and backed off. It still took them a while to figure it out. Anyway, they had such a problem because this is the first McDonald's I've been in that had no cash register. I seen where it used to be but it's not there. I took a picture but it's hard to see but trust me, no register at all at the counter. However, on one of the kiosks, there is a sign saying they would come out and help if you needed it. Oh, and it also says if you're paying with cash, let them know and they would bring you your change. I'm assuming they would have to go to a cash box in the managers office to retrieve your change. This is all well and great but there is no staff paying attention to any customers needing help or paying attention to anything on the other side of the counter. This is just absolutely sad. What happened to you McDonald's? Good thing we only stopped here because we were traveling. I would never stop here again. I live in northern Illinois and most of the McDonald's around me have taken out the self serve drink stations but they still have a cash register and you can still talk to a real human being. But I fear they are all headed this way. McDonald's needs to take a look at Steak and Shake. They did this in the covid era and people don't go to these places anymore and a lot of them have closed. This market is actually the only market in the area, as the next one was 12+ miles away. Anyways, you can find Timmons Market next door to The Goodwill with plenty of parking available in the lot. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with how big this market was, as we thought it was going to be a small market. There is quite a large selection of produce, meat, baked goods, etc. And the prices were relatively pretty cheap, especially compared to Safeway (which was 12+ miles away). We ended up purchasing chicken to cook for our dog (as that is part of her normal diet, along with her dry dog food and also vegetables and sometimes steam rice. Yes, we do cook for our dog because she deserves the best. We also made chicken for ourselves too), along with vegetables and some fruits (for ourselves and you know for our dog too). The aisles were clean and it was pretty easy to find things. The layout was similar to any other market. Service was friendly each time we shopped here. Overall, this was a nice market and would shop here regularly if I lived in this area.
