We stopped today for gas, some raspberry filled donuts that are very hard to find in Arizona as well as a bathroom break. We were pretty excited to see a couple boxes of the donuts so we picked them up while our other family member filled the tank. Service was friendly and we were helped very fast. The worst experience was definitely the bathroom which needed a good cleaning as well as some soap to wash our hands. Thank goodness we had hand sanitizer with us. read more

Basically, the worst Maverik in Cedar city. The pumps are too close together so only like 2 1/2 cars can get gas on either side at a time. And it happens to be next to the worst KFC in the nation. read more

Ah, Cedar City. That bastian of civilized hope along the freeway. Those glowing signs and billboards advertising hotels, restaurants, and gasoline. That second Cedar City exit (the middle exit, so it's second coming from both directions) and the long line of fast food and quick fillups on each side. Once again, Maverik isn't the flashiest there. And if you're coming from the freeway side going east, you'll have to pass a few other stations on the way. But if you don't mind the extra few seconds in the car, you'll probably save a few cents on gas. Not like you would if you went all the way into town, but this no-nonsense smaller station has everything you need. Gas. Grub. Potties. And easy access. read more

I walked in to purchase a few things and another walked after me she came to the register and mind you I was already there asking for my items and the cashier proceeded to check out the woman who walked in after me. I am a black woman so I would hate to think it's because of the color of skin! But this is not the first time I experienced this type of behavior around town and I've only been here for 2 weeks. Please do better. Everyone deserves equal treatment all money look the same and spends the same. I will not spend my money here again. read more

Our toddler had to go to the bathroom again! Surprisingly it was very clean, good prices and even had a family bathroom with baby changing area. They also have Krispy Kreme donuts, biscuits and gravy and more if you happen to have the munchies when you stop here. Good gas prices too and friendly clerks. Overall above average for a gas station stop! read more

I love Maverick stores. They are all awesome.... except this one. One cold coffee pot. No breakfast items in the Bon Fire. No any other items for that matter. And people sitting around doing nothing. Among other things. Terrible enough to make me bother writing a review on a gas station. Which is bad... hopefully someone fixes it for the sake of Mavericks everywhere. read more

The rest of the store has a little bit of everything: food, drinks (including beer), snacks, gloves for construction, fishing and camping items, lots of misc stuff. But what caught my eye were the spices. A vet in Cedar City makes them, and oh my gosh, they are amazing. Bold, fresh, unique flavor combinations. I'm a chef, I'm picky. I was so happy. I bought a few but will go back to get more. The staff was super friendly, helpful. The store well laid out and organized, clean. My overall experience was great. So then I thought, why the 1.5 stars on Yelp? Then I looked. 20 of the 31 reviews were from different people, dated 4/23-24/2018 talking about racists bumper stickers. I didn't even notice bumper stickers, if they did had them? And it drives me nuts when one person is offended or bothered by a business then tells all their friends, who have never been there, some who have not even ever written a Yelp review, to write a bad review. Wrong. This isn't what Yelp is for!! I will be back! I am glad to have a little market near by, with friendly faces ringing me up behind the register!

I've been working my way through Cedar City's gyro offerings this year. This is #4 I've tried. He reported that his pizza was perfect and tasted exactly as expected (& anticipated). My Gyro pizza naturally tasted just like a gyro should. It comes with all the standard gyro ingredients: spiced gyro meat, red onion on a pizza crust coated with red sauce and light mozzarella. The pizza-y sauce and mozzarella stayed in the background and let the greek side takeover. The feta cheese, tzatziki sauce and fresh tomatoes are added on top after baking. I asked for no tomatoes (don't like them fresh/uncooked). After 2 pieces I had my fill of the gyro pizza. I was losing track of the individual gyro flavors by that time. (I think I had the same flavor overload while trying the Greek pizza). Hope it will reheat well tomorrow but there might be a culinary reason they wait to put the tzatziki sauce & feta on after baking. The pizza crust here is as good as a pita to carry the greek gyro fixings to my mouth. Always have encountered friendly staff here and Kenedy P at the counter was efficient in taking our order. Love the little outdoor patio since we usually bring our dog. Wow they are ready to cook a lot of pizzas with all the firewood that's stacked up there! Yum yum. Can't wait but I'll either go back to my prior "usual " of a Margheroni or try another of their tasty offerings.
