As a customer who carefully scheduled an inspection online and received multiple confirmations, I arrived prepared and on time--only to be told the appointment was at a different location and that inspections aren't done on Mondays. The front desk staff were dismissive, rude, and even made false claims by insisting I had booked the wrong location. They offered no apology or clear explanation. I initially questioned myself, but after reviewing my email confirmation, it was clear I had booked the correct location. This experience felt both disrespectful and frustrating, especially as someone who values her time and trusts the system. If this service cannot be reliably provided, it should be removed from the online scheduling system--or at the very least, customers should be proactively contacted if the system is malfunctioning--to prevent unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. read more

I just want to praise John the manager and his staff for providing excellent service on my 2018 Hyundai Tucson. I have always been leery of automotive service centers, specifically card dealerships, for their unethical practices and preying on their customers in order to pocket the most money they can from those who lack understanding of the problems with their cars. I had two front tires mounted and balanced as well as having the car aligned. The service was performed in a timely fashion and the technician even checked my fluids and suspension without even asking. John, the manager did not try to upsell me in services that were not necessary which is a common practice at almost all service centers. After several months I returned to have the alignment checked and was greeted without being given excuses as to why he couldn't perform the check. I would highly recommend using this Mavis location, (Easton Rd. in Warrington, Pa),. as they are honest and stand behind there work. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Last week I went in for a yearly inspection and oil change. A few hours later they called me back with a laundry list of things wrong with my car and told me to pass inspection it would be almost $1,800... I told them just change the oil and I will get a second opinion ($165 for the oil change and failed inspection). I got my car back today and it needed 1 tire everything else was totally fine. Forget the fact I waited for 3 hours and wasn't charged for inspection because i was expecting to get my car inspected and pay for it....heres what i got instead. 8am appointment I showed up on time. They didn't open the doors til 813am 930 car goes in shop. 1027 car is gone from shop and had been for some time.... After 20 mins of my car not being in the shop and not on the property, I was told they were doing a 7 mile safety ride. Takes 20 mins to go 7 miles? Thats 3.5 miles away and 3.5 miles back. What they didnt tell me and then lied about to cover up was they were actually using my car to drive a total of 52 miles to get stickers. I call BS. Why is a customer car being used to run business errands? Seems like an oversight on management's part. Horrible business practice using customers cars to go to other shops. ODO in 62522. They never gave me my inspection or emissions results. I'm pretty sure that's required of them. I got a receipt for something i didn't even pay for but expected to after my service. So I did my own research and found out they drove the car to Dresher from Warrington. I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one they do this to. Furthermore, turns out their inspection license is expired and has been since May. So the manager took my appointment knowing their license was suspended, drove my car 52 miles, and then shrugs it off when confronted? Take your car somewhere else. Scumbags work here. read more

I have a new Subaru Crosstrek, with only 3400 miles on it. I made an online appointment for 9 a.m., at 8:30 the same day. The waiting room was busy and they still got me in by about 9:10. Turns out my tire had a nail in the sidewall, which can't be fixed. The cost of a new tire installed would be about $250. An employee/manager, Jessica suggested that since its newer it may be covered under a warranty from the car dealer if I opted for that dealer package. Turns out that it's covered by the Dealer. Kudos to Jessica for offering advice that didn't involve Mavis making a buck. She went above and beyond today to make a happy "non"-customer!!!!! read more

Oil/filter and tire rotation doesn't take 5 hours. They operate on their own timeline and do not keep appointments. This place does not know how to operate. I swore after the last time we wouldn't use them because of the same crap but I was in a bind. Just found out they had their inspection licenses removed for shady business practices. We will not be returning. The Jamison location is ran by people with competence, take your car there. Edit: called after not hearing back about my car for over 5 hours. The front desk person (not sure if he's a manager or secretary) said they are pulling the vehicle into the shop now and acknowledged it's been a long time but zero apology. I waited 20 minutes and drove over to see what was going on. The car was not in the shop and was parked exactly where I left it 5 hours ago. I spoke to the front desk guy again and told him I want my keys and we will take the car elsewhere. He gave me the keys and never said a word, no apology for wasting my time. This place is ran by nit wits who cannot cut it in a real place of business. I'm sure it will go under and come back with a different name but still employ the same tech school dropouts. read more

Got breaks here 4 months ago. After getting breaks done I had to come back to this place 4 different times to have them look at them. My brakes grind, and click while just driving. Took the car to another shop and it comes to find out that they used the wrong parts. I would avoid this place and save your time and money and go some where else. If you get any work done from this place make sure you keep your receipts and paper work in case you need to get a lawyer. read more

Booked time for state inspection at 9 am. Had to leave the car. Was promised to be ready 2,5h later and they said they should call me. Called 5h later car not ready. Went there before closing. The clerk at the desk was foolibg around in the workshop ignoring the customers in the lobby. Eventually came out and then gave me the wrong car key. Found my key on the floor after some searching. Took my car to Mavis for inspection on 05/27/23. My family has been going to Mavis for years and usually have good service. Im a high mileage driver and usually need brakes every year. Mavis does not use top of the line brakes but for the price, I'm ok with it. So work was done, and I was overcharged $110.00. I questioned the total and a credit was done. So far, so good. When I was there on 05/30/23 to get the credit, 3 days later, I said my brakes were squealing, moaning and thumping. The rear brakes had a burnt smell. They said the pads had to be broken in. Again, ok with this as I have had 4 or 5 complete sets of brakes from Mavis. Then after I drove 500 miles and was still having issues, I made an appt for 06/03/23, one week later. Ken was great, checked them over and said they were glazed and "got the noises out". I thanked him and was on my way. As soon as I leave and begin braking, same old noises from the brakes. Now, I am pissed. I have no desire to deal with Mavis at this point, and since it has been 23 days since brakes were replaced, I was hoping brakes would settle down by now. I will probably have the brakes redone by someone else. To be clear, I don't have an issue with the staff, just with the shoddy parts they use. I just hope no one else has to go through this. It's a shame as Mavis has always taken care of me in the past. read more

Worst place ever! i got my wheels balanced and an alignment. came back a few days later to get it re done because I needed A new tire...apparently the last person to put the wheel on stripped my hub who ever did it should pay for it... funny part is they are the ones who put it on last!! If I could give zero stars I would! I brought my spare tire in to be replaced before a long trip with my family. I picked the tire up on Wednesday and put it in the trunk. On Thursday night I went to move the tire out of the trunk and it was flat. I called first thing Friday morning and spoke with the manager Avery. He told me to bring it right over and he'll take a look at it. I got a phone call 30 mins later saying the tire has been stabbed 6-7 times and we were responsible for the vandalism!?! I even went so far to check my home security cameras and the tire never left my trunk and no one opened my trunk from the time I came home until I noticed it flat. Avery argued with me and kept telling me I vandalized my own tire. I did not ask for money back. I did not ask for a free tire. I simply wanted the product I paid for. I ended up having to call corporate and thankfully they made it right and replaced my tire. I will never deal with Mavis in Warrington, Pa again! read more
