I asked if they balanced the tires and they said no they don't do that unless you ask for it. I've always gone to places that do both. This place is incredible! Not only did they exceed our expectations, but they went above and beyond to get the job done in a timely manner, and even dropped our car off closer to our home so we didn't have to drive so far to pick it up. We needed an oil change and had them do the tire rotation and 40-pt inspection as well, they washed, buffed and vaccuumed out the car, popped out the dents, checked our headlights - and were honest enough to tell us that we didn't need new ones! We also had an issue with the carpet in the back and they found us new panels to replace the damaged ones. We will definitely be coming back again! Thanks guys!!!! read more

Best mechanic I could get my beautiful Audi A5 repaired. The Audi dealer chargers crazy money for basic maintenance things after the extended warranty ran out. John is a Master mechanic experienced with foreign cars. I took a chance after reading many reviews. He is a gem and so calm as John researched the 14 codes in the diagnostic machine. He fixed my baby and arranged to get the part today as he said he can't let me drive home I. This car in this condition. He was up front, knowledgeable about the computer systems with Audi and he quickly arranged a new part to get delivered and out I went! It was a pleasant and he kept me informed along the way. The mechanic was excellent and very knowledgeable about my car. During the service he was able to sort out an issue I'd been having with my cooling system that I had been taking to mechanics for over a year. FIXED IT! He gave me great options as far as different parts he could put in and gave honest prices and his opinions of each. Bonus: The cleaned and vacuumed my car. Fixed a blown fuse that was making my keyless entry malfunction all for free. I will definitely be using F&S as my primary mechanic now for a long time read more

Two years ago my car died right in the intersection of 611 and Horsham Road. It was almost five o'clock on a Saturday, and my two kids were in the car with me. The Sunoco station on the corner refused to help because he was ready to leave for the day. Luckily, I saw F&S behind them... I went in, and John and two of his guys went out into traffic, pushed my car to their shop, fixed me up, and I was on my way. I can't tell you what means more: his willingness to help, or the quality, honest work he's provided for me since 2012. I am proud to refer this shop and his integrity as a person -- I couldn't have been more "lucky" to suffer that breakdown close to John's garage. I now live an hour away -- but continue to come to F&S Auto for all of my car's needs. read more

We had a new engine put in and paid a good bit of money for it. I would guess it was a fair price but still not cheap. We were told it would be a few days and it took over two weeks to complete. The car was not washed after the repair like the say in their ad. Also less then a week after getting it back, it died! We were told we would have to have the car towed back up to them and pay the labor cost again!!!! Needless to say that was not going to happen. We took the car to a local mechanic and he fixed the problem and I called my credit card company and they charged back the cost for the new repair which F&S had been paid and did not fix. I definitly would not recommend them to anyone!! read more

Great family owned and operated business. I took my car here for a PA state inspection and was in and out in less than an hour. Other nearby shops, including Midas and Pepboys, said that I'd have to drop the car off but F&S let me wait. The whole job cost $59 and they put my windshield wipers on for free!
