My wife went in for a wheel alignment. She was told that because she didn't have hubcaps on her vehicle that the alignment was impossible. I've never heard that in my life. Moral of the story is, if you have wheels on your vehicle and not hubcaps, Mavis cannot complete your alignment. read more

I called up Mavis at like 5 PM on a Monday because a shop in Florida had over tightened my lug nuts on my jeep to wear. None of them were coming off. I was able to get three out of five, but the last two would not budge at all, so sweetheart, Jeremy was able to take off the last two for me before closing and was so nice and kind and didn't even charge me. As a female you get taken advantage of but I didn't feel this way at Mavis I took my car in for alternator repair they found a crack in my oil pan that leaked on the alternator and melted the wires he showed me what happened and I also bought tires from Mavis they seem to care when you bring your car in I feel like I can trust them read more

I was subcontracted to do a deep cleaning for this store in December 2022. it was a reconstructed store so there was "stuff" everywhere, contractors, Mavis bosses, subcontractors, formal, and employees, with so much going on you, would have expected a lot of ' personalities to clash", but to the contrary, Everyone stayed in their Lane, first let me say everyone knew their lane and did not venture outside of it. it was clear that everyone was "a Boss" on their Level, there was "No competition, just community". The most wonderful experience for me was watching how Mavis-Monroe and Bosses maneuvered with contractors, with employees, and with each other, respectfully, professionally, and courteously, although, Firm with decisions. as for the Local employees, when they showed up "BIG", Karl, Keenan, (the young man w/ the red hair, each and every one of you ( even those whose names I didn't mention), Applauds to you ALL, you move like a well-oiled machine, your teamwork on every car. the respect shown for individual expertise it was all evident as I cleaned your brand-new facility, it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your Grand Opening. I came to this business for brake pads. I figured they would be a good bet since they advertise tires and brakes as what they do. Tried to call to set up an appointment and their call center menu didn't work. Went online to set up a reservation. Came in around 4:00, was told they could fix it no problem. I knew there were a couple of cars they were currently working on so I expected maybe an hour wait. At 5:15 they were just starting to take tires off. They come in and try to tell me that I also need new rotors, new shocks (though they'd been replaced recently), a brake flush and a few other things totaling about $700. I'm used to this because I'm female. These car people try to scare you into buying a bunch of other stuff. I declined and they agreed to just put on the brake pads but told me that since I wouldn't agree to them putting on new rotors (which would double the price) they would not give me the lifetime warranty on my brake pads. (I'd already had 2 people check the rotors and they were fine.) I considered just leaving but was leaving for a long trip the next day and really needed this done. They started to work on it around 5:30. A half hour later I look out and everyone is standing around vaping and talking. When I asked what's going on they informed me they don't have the tools to fix my vehicle! The tool arrives awhile later. Another 20 minutes later and they now need another tool they don't have! Instead of sending one of the 3 guys that are standing around, they told me it was being delivered by someone who worked at O'Reilly's (after they close the store!). The time was 6:15 and the car still wasn't fixed. Had to call someone to pick me and my 7 year old up so we could pickup our grocery order and get some dinner. We picked up groceries, came back and they informed me they need yet another tool from O'Reilly's. This is joke, right?! We go get dinner, come back. It's now 7:15 and they're still waiting on another tool. One of the men who I guess might be some sort of manager apologized and finally explained that the mechanic quit and took a bunch of tools. Why would you agree to fix a car if you have no mechanic and no tools? Shouldn't you maybe close your shop until you can actually do the work you're advertising? Finally at 8:07 they are finished replacing my brake pads. Nearly 4 hours to do 30 minutes worth of work. They thanked me for my patience, but offered no discount on the work. Just a 20% off an oil change. Ha! Like I'm coming back to get my oil changed! 20% off? That's like what, $5? I didn't complain or fuss, just paid my money so I could get out of there. On the way out one of the guys says to me he hopes he doesn't see me anytime soon. Like it's my fault they were ill-prepared to do the job. Save yourself some time and just take it to a reliable mechanic. read more
