I recommend giving the fixed menu a try versus just picking out of the menu. Well worth it and also make sure you get their tortilla soup. That's what you should expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Let's start with the tuna tartar tostada. It was a bluefin tuna with an oil blend, raw onion with ginger, jicama, Serrano chili, and ponzu sauce with cured lemon. It was so fresh and well-balanced. Next, I got the Tiradito De Jurel, which was so delicious and fresh. It is jurel fish mix of oils, chilhualcle chili paste, fried chives, fried kale, ponzu sauce with cured lemon. Next, I tried the green ceviche. It was the catch of the day, house marinade, green pasta, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and green apple. You can identify each ingredient and flavor. Next, I tried the Black Aguachile, which had shrimp black paste with chintextle, red onion, cilantro, jicama, and sliced cucumber. The black aguachile had a very smoky flavor. Something I've never tried before. For drinks, I had a ceniza de corazón. It had white bacanora, cucumber, extract, and chili ash syrup, and a mojito, which had rum, mint, and lemon. The service was top tier. The waiter answered all of our questions. He was excellent. I would definitely come again.

Great for a start to CV Sunday Funday. The BF and I split the Sopes Duo (Birria and Chorizo) and a Margarita and Mimosa Flight. Great drink flavors, all served up in cute flights. They even hand out little sweet treats and chips and salsa with the meal. Honestly no complaints with great service.

We got there around 9:20pm & instead of being welcomed, the first thing we were told was that they actually close at 10 cuz it was "slow." That was already frustrating cuz if their hours were updated correctly, we wouldn't have wasted the drive. We left to look for other options next door, but since everything else was closed, we came back literally 3 mins later. From that point on, it was obvious the server was annoyed we came back. The service was disappointing from start to finish. She barely checked on us, never came back to ask how the food was, and my boyfriend had to wave her down just to get a refill. It felt like we were inconveniencing them the entire time. To top it off, when we asked if we could get churros to go since they seemed in a rush to close, we were told no. Even drinks and certain menu items were apparently limited cuz they were trying to shut down early. SMH. The food was okay at best, but the service and overall experience completely ruined it. If your business says you're open until 12, honor those hours or update them. Customers shouldn't feel unwelcome for showing up during your posted business hours. Being slow isn't an excuse for bad service. If customers walking in during POSTED business hours feels like an inconvenience, maybe the hospitality industry isn't the right fit. We won't be coming back at all.

We had an amazing experience here. Too bad it recently closed…read more We go down Wednesday for lunch and lucked out as we found parking right next door. Only one space left near the restaurant. We get there right before it opens and they sit us down right away. I thought that was awesome. Some places will wait until they officially open. Even while just opening it was a festive atmosphere and the employees were amazing. My wife had the Diabla shrimp plate and I had the three taco platter I choose the birria and Korean tacos and they were amazing and had a different twist to them. You get to choose from various ones. This place is very instagramic and you may be paying a little bit more but in my opinion it is well worth it. We had the Miche mango blended drink and I ordered the Cadillac Margarita. They were very good and reasonably priced as well. The grand finale was the churro cart. What a show. Definitely worth some social media posts. We really enjoyed this place and hope it makes a comeback

I believe this restaurant banked on the fact that it was in Little Italy within downtown so they could charge extra for everything. Nothing you would get food or drink wise felt it was justified and the food was really plain or didn't taste good. Ambiance was a bit of a mess too since it seemed to try and mix a lot of different themes together which didn't work out too well. I think it was for the best this business moved on. Let a new restaurant take it's place that can do a better job in the night life scene, or try something new and different.

This is a Fusion eatery with a creative little menu serving Mex & Jap beers! We had a few things to try out, a tostada campechana from the "Espezcials" board- which was good because seafood was fresh, but it was missing a kick , a few sushi rolls which were basic Japanese style rolls and an octopus taco which was the winner for the night! It was surprisingly good the octopus was tender but crispy & the hand made tortilla paired with pickled purple onion and a fresh green salsa made it excellent. They also have a really good version of salsa macha with great sesame oil- that's a great twist in taste! Place was clean inside and bathroom was a little on the dark side - with dimmed lighting, a little to eerie for me. I wasn't sure if ordering to go would be better, but the food came so fast! I used Apple Pay. It's easier and faster I feel since people always have their phones out (naturally). My small group bought movie tickets and came here to eat a few rolls before heading to the theater. We were so lucky that it wasn't busy when we dropped by tonight around 6pm. The server was so sweet and the staff were friendly. The food was incredible, I ordered the crispy spicy tuna, the Tokyo soul roll and el pez. My favorite was the Tokyo soul. I'll be back to try more!
