As a fabricator/welder/engineer, I usually do all work myself; Unfortunately, I got hurt before this installation, which, oddly, turned out to be fortunate because, all of the meticulous attention to detail and perfection I always give, I found that and more in the staff at Diversified Off-Road - Upon my first communications with Seth, I could tell this place puts their customer's satisfaction first. Seth and I laid out a plan for the parts I had already ordered, my wife and I dropped off our vehicle and parts the same week to Seth and Kim (Kim is great also), and we got to observe some of the work being done. My wife got to be the first of us to drive the truck, and she had a smile on her face the entire way from Ohio back into Michigan: We are extremely pleased with our experience and the quality of work done - I was just under the truck all day yesterday doing rust prevention with my POR-15 products; I was looking at their work close-up, and, perfect, I couldn't be happier... Installing lifts and all of the other modifications are challenging and the parts cost quite a bit. Diversified Truck-Auto & Off-Road IS the best balance. As a business, I look at the years they have been providing quality work, and we need them to survive and thrive as they provide a livelihood for their staff, and they help to build our community; so when they are looking at the balance of work, they are doing their best on pricing, timing, and complete satisfaction (I can see that in the future plans we are discussing for Retrax Eq and a Bed-Slide, among other work). I had been inquiring with numerous other shops in the area and was planning to go to Integrity in Oklahoma believe it or not, until I found this shop so much closer to home. My brakes pads were worn. I was having vibration and squealing. I stopped by this morning, they were full. The gentleman was honest and said they didnt know if they would get to me today. I took my chances, and left my van. Just a few hours later, I received a call that my van was ready. I came to pick it up, asked how much it would be(with check book in hand) only to be told that there was no charge, and my brakes were still under warranty! No labor charge, no anything... it was 100% taken care of! WHAT??? I was blown away! You just dont get customer service, honesty and integrity like this anymore! My family is an Auto Connection family, and today just reaffirmed why!

Yet another taxi story…read more.... I was just beginning my night. It looked promising, having scored 3 in a row 20 plus dollar fares. It was going to be good. Then reality set in. I had a call over on Galena st, which was now heavily populated by trucks and what not because the freeway was being rebuilt. Being the nice guy that I am I got out of the cab to go into the bar to get my passengers. Getting back in was another story. In the process of getting back in, some fool came by and tore my door clean off. Of course, he sped off, and I wound up getting a ticket from the police. Talk about adding insult to injury. I was done for the night and my boss wasn't too pleased either. I had the car towed to my house, where I could put it in a lot. By morning, it was at Fred's. I don't recall his name, but he is a master. Surveying the damage, he told me that he not only could fix it, but make it as good as new. He worked for hours and I watched him perform his magic. He recreated the hinges, and by the evening, he was done and no one could even tell that the car was even damaged. I would not hesitate one iota to use this shop again. He is a miracle worker, and he doesnt charge an arm and a leg to fix your ride. You will be glad and that's a fact. BTW, the ticket was dismissed after a short lecture by the judge. Sometimes the planets will align and everything will work out.

With his father starting the shop, I know Nick has been wrenching on cars for long time, so he knows his stuff! If you want a lazy, misdiagnosed and overpriced service, then this is the place for you!…read more My advice is to not even look at this place. I took my Honda here because it had random crank no starts (sometimes it would start, but most of the time it wouldn't). My first phone call to the place was greeted with a very rude attitude...which made me feel like I had inconvenienced them for even bring my car to their lot! They informed me that it would be a couple days before they had time to diagnose it. When I did get a diagnosis, it was of course the most expensive issue the car could have: the distributor needed replaced. I went in to the shop the morning after it was fixed, paid my bill, and tried to start my car and nothing happened. They had no idea why it wasn't working because "it started the night before." They said they would check the wiring and put some more lube on the connectors. I should have just demanded my money back at this red flag. I've worked at an automotive place before, and I've never heard a mechanic come up with a more pathetic excuse. They basically had my car for a week and never figured out the problem. Before the weekend started, my boyfriend went in to their shop for an oil change...and they gave him the keys to my car!! Not ME, the CUSTOMER! They told him to have me try starting my car over the weekend and see how it works...basically they just gave up on it and threw my keys away to someone who wasn't even the owner! Thank god my boyfriend is a good man for Christ's sake! Of course the first day I tried, the car wouldn't start again.On the second day, my car started and I took it the heck away from this place as fast as I could! Of course, because of the ignorant, scammy mechanics, my battery totally went dead from all the times it had attempted to start but couldn't because they didn't fix my car! I took it to another automotive shop that had good reviews and within a half hour they knew what wrong with my car: the ignition switch needed replaced. It was half the cost that Duricek's cost me AND they legitimately fixed my car! When Duricek's failed to fix my car the first time, they said they wouldn't deposit my payment until they knew everything was OK with the car. That was complete BULL CRAP, because I called and told them my car was still having problems and they didn't stand behind their work, or offer me a tow, or give me my money back! These people are straight up SCAMMERS. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!
