It seriously looks like a different house with all of the natural light flooding in from the windows! You don't realize how much the buildup on your windows impedes the view--until the dirt is gone! My 6-year-old son asked me, "Mama, is there even a window there?" The curb appeal is definitely improved, as well. Prompt: Curtis from AWC arrived promptly at the set appointment time. After some initial conversation and info-sharing, he got right to work. Friendly and Professional: Curtis was easy to talk to while still being able to focus on the work at hand. He was willing and able to answer any questions we had about products or the process. (Note: He is also very pet-friendly and doesn't mind a curious dog or two following him around and graciously accepted my daughter's invitation to a brief tea party in the living room. ) Careful: Curtis meticulously moved and replaced any items impeding access to the windows. He was pointedly careful not to break or damage home decor or furniture. Thorough and Methodical: Curtis had an established protocol for the window-cleaning process (oh yes--I asked because I'm nosy like that). This included: -Removing and washing screens -Vacuuming tracks to remove loose debris -Washing and scrubbing the glass (inside and out) -"Squeegee"ing the window clean (inside and out) -Wiping frames, sills, and tracks with web microfiber cloth Quality Assurance: Curtis made sure we were satisfied with the outcome before leaving. Everything was sparkling, so of course we were. Positive Impact of Natural Light: I have personally noted that increased natural light in my home just makes me feel happier and more positive in general. In fact, there is a proven association between increased natural lighting and improved mood and positive feelings (see sources below).
