I called Nate over at Cool Dynamics because my AC just wasnt cooling anymore. That same day, Caleb and Miguel came out to take a look at the system and found a tripped breaker. They did an entire maintenance routine anyways and luckily nothing was broken elsewhere, just the breaker. While they are not electricians, it doesnt take one to see that it appears that the home builder under-specced the entire panel and they recommended I have a qualified electrician come out to take a look. No upsells, no sketchy recommendations, just good, honest service at a reasonable price. nate came out and diagnosed why our a/c wasnt cooling and why outside unit was going on and off. some other guys trying too sell us $4500 outside unit. nate said it was the water drainage line plug up and needed a flush only. he charged us a service call only and saved us thousand. a/c gets to set temperature hard to find honest people these days definitely will have him come if we have another issue. thanks man! read more

Cool Dynamics is a small company in a sea of competitors in San Antonio, but Cool Dynamics is OUTSTANDING! I'd recommend Nathanial and his team to my friends, family, coworkers--no contest, and every time. Our AC went out during 80-90 degree days in October. We'd been combatting a wide range of options spanning partial fixes for $4.5K to full overhauls for $12K. Nathanial himself came to our home, same day, after we called looking for a fourth quote. Nathanial was incredibly professional & respectful, knowledgeable, thorough on inspection, and honest about his assessment and our options. He was able to get his team out the next morning for an all-day install of both interior and exterior system upgrades. The quality of work his team completed was impeccable, and they were thorough in cleaning up the dust and work residue. He offered a 10-year warranty for parts, two year labor warranty, is coming out to inspect how the systems are performing after a week of use, and told us that a state rep would be out to inspect his work. Nathanial and the Cool Dynamics team is everything we needed: someone genuine and sincere helping us with an acceptable product that we needed in a time of need. I needed my heat pump unit and mini split unit replace. Nathaniel came out to give me a estimate. He was very professional. He looked at what I had, asked about air flow in each room, tood me about 3 different new units available, went over pricing. I decided to go with them they showed up the next day and started work. It only took them 1 day they came back the next day to check on work everything was good. They had to order split air unit it came in a few days later and installed in 1 day. I won't name the other company I was considering going with but they offered a 10% senior citizen discount and I didn't see it on estimate I questioned them about it and they denied every overing the discount. If I can't trust a company I mark them off my list. Another thing the company I turned down was $10,000 more. read more

There was a gremlin (1984 movie) in my unit that would hide, then show itself just when you thought the problem was solved. Nathaniel was persistent enough in his diagnosing to catch the gremlin (bad thermostat turning the air handler fan on and off sporadically) red handed. His service was prompt and professional. Nathaniel came out today to see why my AC was not working. He did a thorough inspection of the inside and outside and found the problem. It was fixed in short order and is working great. I know my unit is over 20 years old so I asked for an estimate on replacing it. He gave me four different options and I was pleasantly surprised that they were less than expected. He also included any additional charges there might be if I wanted the ductwork replaced or if any wiring needed to be upgraded for a higher end model. he was not pushy or trying to get me to choose any particular model or even make a decision today. He explained the differences between each one so I feel like I can make an informed decision when the time comes.
