Always came and got air filled here with no problems. I brought in my high end carbon fiber tank that I bought from them years ago for a rehydro in the summer season 2025 and was told I would get a call when it would be ready. Never received messages or voice mail. Finally reached out after months and was told "multiple phone calls were made and no voice mail option existed", so they decided to sell my tank. I check my messages, voice mail, and clear them daily. You've got to be kidding me. They just sell your stuff without notifying you. You would think it hasn't even been half a year they'd continue trying to contact you before going off and claiming your things as their own to sell. read more

Played paintball in high school and got all my gear from this place. Service was great, gear was great, and prices were solid. That was 20 years ago. I recently had an issue with a new slide with Tokyo Marui 1911 where it was getting stuck so I took it in and they worked their magic and helped me with it. I purchased to used paintball guns that needed some repairs, I'm new to paintball and really don't know anything about these guns. I searched for a while for a place that can handle these repairs and was referred to this location. Drive about 1 hr 1/2 to take my paintball guns. Upon arrival I was surprised at how awesome the location was, full of airsoft and paintball. Very stocked and organized really dope location. The staff was very very nice and helpful. The repair man that repaired these guns was there and I explained to him and another person what was happening with the guns. He said it should be a really simple fix and should only take a couple of days. So I left them, this was a Saturday I left them. I expected maybe by Thursday to get the call they were ready but it never came. 3 weeks went by and I had to keep rescheduling an event with family because of this. Finally today I went to pick them and they had YET to be touched. I was told maybe another couple of weeks. With Easter coming up I wasn't expecting them until mid May if that. So I took them home. Very poor service I defiantly will not be taking my guns for any repairs there again. They may be knowledgeable and know how to repair but turn around time is VERY VERY VERY POOR. Another person was there for a repair too and he was told "we'll call you when it's ready" I was ready to let him know he was about to wait 3 weeks too. If you're looking to buy and stock up yes go here for repairs go at your own risk. Be prepared to wait a while though. I ended taking them to another location where I was told this fix should've taken max about 2 hrs to fix. read more

My 13 year old spent his own personal money in this store. He was double charged. I went in they assured me they would refund and they didn't. Multiple phone calls and the woman that was supposed to handle it was never available. Apparently they find stealing from kids to be an acceptable business practice. Buyer beware and check your receipts before walking out the door. It's a shame we had high hopes for this place. read more

I was having difficulty using my Hatsan and I asked if I could pay to have some help. The owner told me he's too busy.. I waited 6 months with now luck and now I'm selling off all my pcp equipment as the customer service in town is not helpful to beginners. read more

First and most importantly, Maximum Paintball is the ONLY paintball store in Fresno that has lasted, and there's a reason for that. They are approaching their 20th anniversary (or maybe have already reached it while you're reading this review) and I have been patronizing them for roughly that entire time. Tom and Debbie couldn't be nicer people and if they don't have a product, they will order it for you. I highly recommend buying your marker from them, especially if it's your first gun. They can help you pick out all the necessary gear and equipment to get you playing. If you need something higher end (in the $1100 range and up) then they can order it from you. The same goes for the really high end tournament gear jerseys and pants (if they don't already have them). You should support local businesses like Maximum because they are the only people providing a local place to buy paintball gear and equipment. Plus, they're just nice people and run the best field in Fresno. Try to avoid going to Amazon, Dick's Sporting Goods, or ANS Gear if you know you can get it through Maximum. I have been to many different paintball stores. I will admit that I have never been to any of the stores on the east coast, but I have been to stores in Sacramento, Fresno, Las Vegas, and all over the greater Los Angeles area. I have NEVER been to a paintball store that can even compare to this one. Maximum Paintball has what you need. Their selection of paint is reason enough for me to recommend them over any of the other stores I have been to. (Paint selection is very important because you need to find a brand of paint that works well with your barrel) Their service is excellent and their staff is very knowledgeable. I have had several of my markers repaired here and on every occasion the job was done in a timely manner and there was never a need to have the equipment returned for further work. The experience of going to this store for my paintball needs is good enough to compensate for the inconveniences I have to deal with to get there. On more than one occasion, I have driven from my current residence (in LA) up to Fresno to purchase my paintball equipment. I love this store. There should be more like it. read more

The fine people at Maximum Paintball have been there for me from the beginning. Not only are they friendly and knowledgeable but provide sound advice for everyone who asks for it. The co-owner Tom, is a world class gunsmith and is also just a really cool guy. His better half is what really keeps it all running like a well oiled machine; Debbie rocks! Their paintball field was to say the least a huge undertaking to get up and running. Paintballers in this area, in my opinion, owe these amazing people a huge debt of gratitude for their achievement in getting the "Field" open.
