I came to use the shooting range and had already completed the e-waiver ahead of time, which made the check-in process quick and easy. I also appreciated receiving a free target with my range fee..it was a nice touch. The staff was professional, attentive, and took the time to give me a quick overview of the rules and how to navigate the facility. The store has a great selection of items to browse, which makes it easy to find something that catches your eye. Overall, I had a great time at the range and will definitely be returning. I went due to the had a rental of a hand gun I was interestedgin in buying. When I walked in, the shop was small, clean, and simple and I was greeted politely. The gentleman that helped me was patient since I am fairly new to the hoby which is obvious and he didn't make me feel uncomfortable which I have found many people treat you a certain way that almost embarrassss you. I liked that their forms were electronic though their policy of you can't rent unless you bring your firearm or a buddy to diminish the possibility of suicide. My guess is they probably had an incident at one point. It is their business so they can make policies of their choice. But what for those who do not have a"buddy" because all people in their life are against fire arms or if they are just coming into the world of ffirarms and are trying to find out what they like. It's like going to a car dealership and not test driving a car. Every one is different and with the amount of money you are going to spend you want to make sure you will enjoy and be able to handle your purchase. The lanes were clean and well maintained and swapping guns from their rental wall was simple and everyone who worked that day were polite and patient and gave recommendations and explained things clearly and in terms that I would understand. If I'm on that side of town and want to get some practice again I likely won't go because of their policy because that would mean I'd have to drive all the way back across town get my firearm and drive back instead of being able to just rent. Went here with my dad and it was a great time. The person we spoke to was bilingual which was great for my dad and he explained everything perfectly and was overall a nice guy. The range was sizable and they had a good collection in stock to buy. Only issue is I had to buy safety glasses and use generic ear plugs as they didn't have any to rent. I emailed the establishment looking for details on a gift card purchase, asking what their recommendations may be. I explained that my brother was receiving a new gun and I asked about what classes were offered, I asked about what their price point was and what your money gets in their establishment. I asked how they charge (by hour or by ammunition, etc) so I knew approximately how much to put on a gift card and what that value there might be. I even clarified, asking "what do you offer" After multiple emails back and forth with no explanation to any of my questions he directed me to view the website that I'd already visited and found their email address on. I'll premise this review by stating that I was humiliated and embarrassed by this company's personnel. As a first time buyer I figured I'd go to a firing range so I can pick a few hand guns and shoot them to see which one felt better. Once I chose two different hand guns to use on the firing line the individual behind the counter said I couldn't be rented the hand guns. His reason was because I was alone and they didn't want me to commit suicide. The very utterance of that word (suicide) caused for an awkward situation in which everyone's attention turned to us. As a former Marine I've trained with many weapon systems, to include the M249, M240B, M2 .50 Cal and the MK 19 ( and of course with my A4 M16 rifle). I never figured that a gun store associated with a firing range would violate my Constitutional Right to Bear Arms by insulting me and dissuading me from purchasing a hand gun. Shame on you guys. You mentioned that I would need to bring someone with me to attend the firing range. That's no different from when a black man had to bring a white man to purchase grain during the Jim Crow years. Your control measures and tactics are unusual. And to think you're the same demographic that decries when second amendment laws restrict your "privileged" right to sell firearms. Excellent indoor gun range. Interior very clean and organized. They have a small area for sale of items such as wearables and accessories. Decent inventory of gun rentals. Staff is outstanding and knowledgeable. We have a family membership and this is worth it whether you are new to firearms or experienced. Nice seating area while you are waiting for a lane or waiting for someone you're with to finish. Multipe styles of targets are nice. Highly recommended. read more

A few saturdays ago we went to The Firing Line to practice some shooting skills. The guy at the register was rude and short with me when I asked a few questions. I asked about memberships and all he did was pull out a brochure and had it to me without saying a word, not a good way to sell a membership. When I had a gun jamb, I asked for help just as the request. I am fully capable of field stripping my weapon and fixing the issue. One of the trolls working behind the desk came out and belittled me for having a jamb. Very unprofessional. Neither my wife or I will ever go there again because of our first time experience. My dad is 81 and for your employee to do that is crap! You never know who that person is with when you do that. Ammo by the case is competetive as well are the weapons that they sell here. The lanes are modern and always clean. Rifles are allowed and separated from the pistol lanes (no shoties). Overall a great place! Oh, they even have a lounge area with large windows for viewing what's going on inside the lanes. The staff is great! I went there this Saturday to handle some business that I needed to complete and to pick up a few things for a couple guns I own. They were able to help me find the right rail mounted light for my fiancé's Glock 19 for one of her Christmas presents. They had it in stock and at a decent price. They also had a few things I needed for my everyday carry, 10 round mag for my S&W M&P Shield in 9mm, and a mag carrier for my belt. Both fit properly and they let me put the mag into their gun so I can visualize how far the mag sticks out and how it feels in the hand. A+ customer service. Lastly they handled a transaction for me that I needed to complete quickly as I was heading out of town through the end of the year so this was the only day I could get it done with my busy holiday schedule. The customer service at this place is a joke. I had to try to reschedule my CCW class on account of a Positive COVID-19 test, and the people I spoke with over the phone were completely unsympathetic and took half my deposit of $100 for the class. Needless to say, they will never be getting any business ever again from myself or any friends, family, or associates. I hear great things about The Range in Fresno. My family was very impressed by the friendliness and professionalism by the staff at The Firing Line. Except for me everyone was a newbie. I have been to gun ranges where the testosterone is so thick you can cut it with a knife. No attitudes here. Garrett helped guide us through forms and procedures. I own a .380 Beretta ACP and Ruger .38. I wanted to try out some 9mm. I had blast trying out a Glock 17, SM 9, a Sig Sauer navy issue, a Beretta 9 and a Springfield sub/compact. My wife and son shot .22 hand gun and rifle. Another instructor helped coach my wife who was having difficulty with the rifle .
