Today 6-18-19 my Cannon Gun Safe was delivered and installed in a very professional manner. First let me start at the beginning when I called Ann Marie at Maximum Security Safe. She assisted me with all the questions I had and guided me to the safe I really was interested in. She was professional and explained the process that was executed in a very professional way. The installers contacted me 30 minutes prior to delivery as instructed and they arrived on time. Thanks, My safe doesn't open this morning so I changed out the battery and it still didn't open. I call maximum and they tell me I didn't use a high enough quality battery. So I use a better battery and viola it opens. Most service companies wouldn't share these nuggets with you and send out a serviceman for a fee. Great selection and amazing service! We bought our safe on a Saturday and it was delivered on Monday. Two gentlemen delivered the safe to our house and bolt it to the ground; they were very attentive to details--not scratching the floor and making sure the safe was centered correctly. If you are going to purchase a safe please do your homework. I watched several video's of safe construction and security and things to look for when buying a safe. Major price point retail stores such as Costco Wallmart Home Depot and so on advertise so called gun safes at low cost. It took exactly 3 minutes to pry them open. Went here on a Sat and met with Shep the sales rep . He answered all my questions showed me my options and let me make and educated decision. all though the store had muliple customers "Shep was by himself" he managed to get me written up and I pulled around back and me and my buddy had the safe in the back of his truck in no time . I purchased an Amsec because of the quality put into the construction of the safe and it was 300.00 cheaper than anyone else . Could not be happier. A+ read more

Prices are good but the showroom is small and there could be more selection on display. If you go in right before a gun show, you can get a discount. BE CAREFUL IF YOU WANT YOUR SAFE DELIVERED UPSTAIRS. I brought pictures in of my stairs and Shep (the owner) said "for those stairs, this safe is the right choice." So I purchased an AMSEC TF5924 (a relatively small gun safe) and when the delivery guys got there, they couldn't get it up my stairs. They took the safe back and gave me a full refund so points there. Then they said they had a smaller, similar safe (Winchester Deputy 10) but it wasn't in stock and they would call me when it came in. After 2 months, no call, but I went in and they had it in stock. When I asked to purchase the safe, Shep accused me of bringing in "miss leading" photos of my stairs rather than taking ownership of the situation and acknowledging that he should have asked for measurements, etc. Despite Shep's attitude, the new safe fit up my stairs and I am happy with the purchase. read more

I bought my own safe but needed it moved up two flights of stairs. Called Maximum Security Safes. They were extremely helpful and questioned me about all the details of the move. Scheduling was efficient and quick. Jeff and Mike showed up at the house, took there time (in a good way), looking over the job and preparing all surfaces in my house for an extremely safe move and they didn't leave one single mark, dent or scratch on anything in my house. I mean when you think about it 750 lbs. on tile surfaces and 29 steps. You wouldn't even know that they had been here at all, these guys are AWESOME!! They bolted my safe down for me at no extra cost and even took away the pallet that the safe was shipped on. I highly recommend them, you can't do any better! read more

Max Security is definitely the place to go! As we live in Texas it was not possible to see the safes in person but I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. After reviewing their website I gave them a call - Nancy was very personable and quite capable, pointing out various options and helping me configure the best safe for my needs. Wow, I must say I am quite impressed. I had nightmares thinking about moving my 850lb safe upstairs. It took me a month to find the right people and the best price. I didn't want some low budget people moving this behemoth upstairs since it would instantly kill somebody if it fell. Finally I went with the company "Maximum Security Safes" after looking at all the options here in SoCal. Juan and Jeff showed up on time, were incredibly efficient and finished the job within 25 minutes. They didn't leave one mark on the walls or the safe, and more importantly did it safely. The staff was very helpful showing me all the different models and what they are useful for. I bought a rather inexpensive home safe. It has the biometric lock. When I got it home it would not close properly, but I returned and they immediately replaced it. Very friendly business with a giant inventory. read more
