I've been bringing my dog to PetSmart for grooming for a good amount of time and have never had an…read moreissue before, which is why this experience was so disappointing. The haircut my dog received this week was extremely uneven and choppy, with areas cut so short that it's almost down to the skin in places. It looks nothing like a proper, blended groom and is very clearly a rushed or poorly done cut. After getting home and realizing how bad the haircut looked, I called the store just to let them know about the issue. They told me they have a satisfaction guarantee and suggested I bring my dog back within the week to have it fixed. Unfortunately, this isn't something that can realistically be "fixed" -- the hair has already been cut way too short in multiple spots and I was not okay with cutting him any shorter considering it's winter. Beyond that, bringing a dog to the groomer can be very stressful and overwhelming for them. I'm not comfortable putting my dog through another grooming appointment just days later. I also want to add that when I called, it didn't seem like the concern was going to be relayed back to the groomer or addressed internally. The main reason I called was simply so the person who did the haircut could be made aware that the cut came out very poorly. Instead, the response felt more like "if you're not happy, you can bring him back," rather than acknowledging the issue or letting the groomer know. As someone who has been a repeat customer, this was really disappointing. I'm sharing this so other pet owners are aware and can make an informed decision before bringing their dog here.

I just got back from Newton Veterinary Hospital. I brought my 15 year old Cavachon there for…read moreemergency treatment of a prolapsed uterus. That is an emergency situation that usually requires major surgery. Honestly after reading all these bad reviews I was reluctant to go to Newton. I full well expected to be told the kindest thing would be to euthanize her. However Dr Simermeyer found a less invasive solution. After less than two hours my little Maggie came out awake and alert. She is home sleeping on my bed. No complications so far and I hope for a full recovery. PLUS, the final cost was considerably under what I expected, and also under what they estimated. Very fair pricing and great service. What a great job! I hope I never NEED to go back, but if I do I will go with full confidence I'll get top tier care.

Fast forward after having many new vets I found they were smart but lacked experience . I went to Dr Buchoff after many people raved about him. I feel like my dog is getting great care. He does work a lot . But he is easily assessable and available if you need him . They also are opened for emergencies My dog was going down hill I took her out of Tinton falls emergency care and brought her to Dr Buchoff she lived for 3 more years . My dog now is 16 and is in longevity vet centers care . He is doing great ! I just got him his dental treatment they were prepared and was available 3 hours later in great shape . I took my dog and she was given an extremely uneven hair…read morecut, left with a bald spot under one ear, the hair on her head was so uneven I had to cut it myself just to try and make it look better. The hair on her paws was uneven with long pieces clearly visible, and just an overall horrible hair cut! I was charged $50 for this before I even was able to see my dogs cut also and I've paid way less for a much better job. The woman also had two male dogs walking freely around the building which made me very uncomfortable and was just very unprofessional.
