Small cozy cafe on a relatively busy street. There's is plenty of free street parking. A was a bit taken back by how busy it was once I got inside. It was loud and I did feel a bit overwhelmed (which I never am). For the food, it was under $9 which I would say was decent. I had the red curry salad (I think that's what it's called) and it was just from a fridge they have there. Wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. It was okay. They have one single bathroom and it could've used some cleaning. Overall I didn't enjoy my experience there, but stayed just to finish my food and try another place out.

Small quinoa salad (vegan) & greens.

First time visiting here the other day- and was pleasantly suprised. I had been meaning to go for such a long time. What really drew me in was the plethora of vegan options. I arrived with a friend and there was nobody in line. The blonde woman behind the counter was patient and friendly. I asked a lot about the items in the cooler and she was very knowledgable. I ended up getting the kalamata olive/quinoa salad. It comes with a side of bread, chips, or salad greens- I opted for the salad greens. The quinoa salad was packed with flavor, and it came in 2 sizes- cup or bowl. I'm glad I ordered the cup because it was A LOT of food. It was very well made and the flavors were excellent. What suprised me the most was the price point. Along with the salad, I ordered a large iced cofffee, resulting in a grand total (food and bev) for around SIX BUCKS!!! You will not be able to find prices like this anywhere, especially for vegan food. I usually can eat a lot- but this sm. cup of quinoa and lg coffee was perfect. I really again condone this place and these prices. The only downside was the lack of outdoor seating, which probably is not entirely the cafe's fault. There are only about 2-3 tables and a bench. My friend and I waited about fourty minutes to be able to sit outside. The crowd here is lax and slow moving- sort of a place where you sit and do homework/read a book/ chill and unwind. I will definitley be back and with more friends. Thanks!

Wow.... Better go to starbuck coffee or dunkin's donuts. The ice coffee here is expensive and taste really bad. This is a waste of money....

I know firsthand that coffee is king in Panama, so I figured anything inspired by their incredible coffee culture had to be worth trying. I visited Curioso on an early Sunday morning and immediately found it special. Not just for its coffee, but for the ambiance, service, and overall vibe. Curioso is a large, welcoming space that's part coffee bar, part brewery. I was immediately impressed by the variety of entertainment for all ages: arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, a skee-ball machine, board games, and even claw machines. Seating options are abundant, from cozy couches to tables and high-tops. There's a toddler play area and a library filled with books for all ages. The space feels family-friendly and is warm, welcoming community gathering space for all. I noticed flyers for free community events Curioso hosts, like Sunday Morning Yoga and Tuesday Trivia nights. The service was equally warm! The barista, although managing a busy Sunday morning solo, took her time to explain coffee options, highlight weekly specials with her own recommendations, and describe the pastries in partnership with Fruit & Grain and Bagels from St. Paul Bagelry. Oat milk is the standard for all their drinks! (Which I loved) We tried two speciality lattes: the "Butter Luck Next Year" (iced) and the "Blue Ribbon Peach Pie" (hot). Both were exceptional! Strong, robust, and delicious. Alongside, we also enjoyed an "Everything" handpie and a "Blueberry Lemon Curd" pop tart. Both pastries were out of this world delicious! I loooooved this pairing. I'm a sucker for savory, so the "Everything" handpie reigned supreme for me. Although I don't have a fur-baby (yet), I would like to include that Curioso is fur-friendly. I'm looking forward to returning several more times!

I ordered one of their seasonal specials--the banana cream pie latte. It was very good. The ambiance was OK. Smaller seating area and located in a strip mall. Although my drink was good it wasn't necessarily something to write home about. I might come here again if in the area and in need of a coffee, but probably not a place I will necessarily seek out.

The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.

Parking can be tricky since it's on a busy stretch of Lyndale, but there is street parking all around if you're willing to look a bit. Inside, there are plenty of small tables, which makes it a good spot for working or casual meetups. That said, the space does feel a little run down in places, especially the bathrooms. Service is hit or miss. The baristas are efficient, but they're not especially warm or welcoming and don't really give off that friendly neighborhood cafe vibe. The drinks, however, are really good and are the main reason I keep coming back. They have a strong lineup of specialty lattes, and these are my favorites: Kingfield: vanilla, coriander, and black sea salt Pollinator: honey, lavender, and cardamom Busy Beaver: maple and cinnamon with molasses and black pepper Very creative, well balanced, and consistently well made. Overall, great drinks and a cool local atmosphere, but the service and upkeep could use some improvement. Still a solid spot if you're meeting friends or want a unique latte.

There is merchandise on shelves that is available to purchase. Got a friendly greeting from the barista, who helped me place my order for a London Fog Tea Latte. I saw that they had a Northeast Fog on the menu (with coriander and fennel), but I got my usual with lavender, vanilla, and extra foam. I also ordered an Almond Croissant. It took a few minutes (because they took their time with a good steep). The London Fog was very good, the right temperature and a nice creamy layer of foam. The Almond Croissant was nothing short of amazing. Along with the vanilla paste, they added extra toasted almonds inside. So yummy. Some of the areas (including the bathroom) could use some TLC. But overall, it was a very good experience. Definitely would come back again.

It was good service as well, came right out wrapped and ready to roll. When I got home I heated up the pastry and the feast was on. I opted for the corner store sandwich which was a classic egg cheese bacon sandwich but it was anything but your typical sandwich. The thick cut bacon had really been cooked down and the layers just went together so well. The bun was buttered and a little flaky which helped it all. The cinnamon roll was unreal. It had such a nice flaky texture that was still soft and chewy. Cinnamon rolls often rely too heavy on the icing but on this cinnamon roll it was the perfect ratio.
