I'm giving it two stars because I do like the drinks here, but otherwise, the place kind of sucks…read more I've had to wait 15-30 minutes for my drink (very simple milk tea) because they have awful time management, and only seem to work on one drink at a time instead of batching. So, if a drink needs to be steeped, they will wait until every drink in front of it has been finished to even start the 5-10 minute steeping process, instead of starting to steep the leaves while they work on blended drinks. Three employees wander around aimlessly while dozens of people wait for a single, simple drink. Most other boba places are able to get drinks out within a minute or two. What is your excuse? There is truly no reason for a single milk tea to take 30 minutes. Fix your training. EDIT: In response to the owner, I do understand that popularity will slow things down, but that wasn't what I was observing. It was a steady trickle of guests coming in every few minutes, and it seems like the crowd was created from congestion of orders stacking up at a higher rate in than they were going out. Orders were only being handed out every several minutes, and while I have also worked in food service/retail and understand having to take breaks and slow down sometimes, the employees seemed like they were just meandering about without a care in the world. I'm truly not sure why, at the very least, steeping wouldn't be started early. I go to a lot of boba places, and I've had many good friends who work (or worked) at boba places, even if I have not directly worked at one myself. The employee behavior was not like anything I've ever seen before.

With a name like Frosty Fox they had to have some cold drinks. According to the manager the most popular drinks were posted on the wall with the Hong Kong milk tea being the most popular...in slot #1. Therefore, I decided to go with the most popular tea. I was told you could not find this tea anywhere in Austin. So, why not? I have to admit it was delicious and reminded me of tea not from Hong Kong, but from Taiwan. Does having good "beverage aesthetics" make a drink taste better? No, definitely not. We both thought our drinks weren't too bad, however. I had ordered my drink with 0% sugar but I added boba to mine. My drink also already came with lychee coconut, so the two toppings sweetened my drink naturally. P2 complained that her drink was still too sweet for her liking. We appreciated the service and the pleasant ambience inside. I took off a star because the drinks were just too expensive. Teapioca is a chain so when I spotted one in this shopping center late last night I went in to check it out. The customer service was unbelievably awful. I walked up to the cash register where the only menu was and looked through briefly to make sure nothing changed since my last visit. After only being there a few seconds the cashier rudely said "are you going to order ma'am?". Since when is that ever in a script to say to customers? I was so taken aback I wanted to leave but I quickly ordered and still tipped well, after which her attitude suddenly became friendlier. I went back to look at the menu again and she asked "would you like to order anything else?" I said "no, I want to finish looking at the menu since I was rushed". The drink wasn't even good. Lychee jelly tasted sour and bad. It is highly unlikely I will give this establishment any more of my business and I recommend that others go elsewhere.

For those who have not yet had the opportunity to try this Japanese delight, the name is what it implies; a creamy stack of pancakes with crunchy bitter caramel, and silky vanilla custard. This dessert happened to be accompanied by a dollop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. These pancakes melted in my mouth and each bite was just as good as the one that preceded it.
