Tropical island ice cream offers variety of ice cream, flavors, and toppings. The staff walked us through the different sizes, the number of toppings, and the option to get a cone or bowl. They were very helpful. I got cinnamon toast crunch as my topping. This is a great local spot to take the family for an ice cream night out.

A tricked-out ice cream restaurant with so many options to customize. The atmosphere is "chill" and happy. There are also cool swings to sit in and a couch (not pictured because there were other guests in them while we were there). I was craving a banana split but didn't want a huge portion. The OreoBananaSplit special was EXCELLENT! I chose the 9oz which was the perfect size. My kids got the Rainbow Special and they loved it. I have no idea what the flavors are as I wasn't given one bite... so I guess you have to try it for yourselves! My husband got the Italian ice orange crème. So bomb! *SO MANY OPTIONS for size, toppings, types of ice cream and cold treats, so many places to sit. *Started out in 2015 in a food truck and this is their brick and mortar dream Seriously, give this place a whirl, I know you'll love it. I'm really you support this place. Sometimes this location can doom businesses without local support. I imagine coming here for fun and special times. It'll be a sweet place to make memories.

Cute marshmallow topper in the shape of a car! My 3 year old loves these!

This little gem of a neighborhood ice cream shop looks tiny on the outside, but they carry a mighty selection of sweet treats and toppings. Ice Cream, sorbet, italian ice, iced coffee... lots of flavor selections and cute giant marshmallows in the shapes of cars and cakes... they really do have something for everything. The staff is super friendly and patient with the little ones who come in, the prices are great, and best of all, the place is immaculate. Which is truly astounding for an ice cream shop. Seriously. I have never once seen sticky tables, no matter how busy they are, which is incredible considering the amount of melted ice cream my children shed alone. Plus, who can dislike an ice cream shop that sells slap bracelets and plays the Space Jam sound track and other great 90's hits all the time!??!

Imagine my kids delight when an ice cream shop opened up right in our neighborhood. Honestly since our initial visit my daughter has been back atleast 5 times. They have a great selection of ice cream, italian ice and all things frozen and delicious. Great service, resonable prices and a wonderful option nearby when we're having a sweet tooth.

This place has so many options for tasty treats. It's an inmate cozy place giving summer time fun vibes. The prices are reasonable. I ordered passion fruit and sour rainbow with chamoy and tajin. The texture of passion fruit Italian ice was perfect. It was smooth and creamy. When I got to the sour rainbow it was just icy like a slush and I disliked that. I didn't understand why they were different textures but that's why I took off a star. I do plan to come by and try more flavors.

Alright so off the bat the staff are very friendly, informative, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they enjoy pleasing people and delivering great customer service. We got the island mango special, 3 macarons, and 1 cup of paradise island sugar free watermelon Italian ice with a sugar free vanilla ice cream bottom. The special was delicious and even had fresh mango fruits. The macarons were fresh and wonderful. I loved the creme brûlée most out of the 3 I got. They have a frequent buyer card to earn free ice cream. They have blue bell ice cream. We were also told they have an ice cream truck that they can bring for catering events, work events, or get togethers. We will return for more of these chill treats.

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"...so the saying goes. I decided to meet a friend that lives downtown Austin for some ice cream at the The Baked Bear, a frequent hang out spot for her and my first visit. The Baked Bear is located in the Seaholm complex between Cesar Chavez and 3rd Streets near West Avenue. After a couple of samples, I decided on Blackberry Crumble. Our server was so sweet and kind including suggesting some of the shop's favorites. OMG the ice cream was so smooth...so flavorful...so absolutely delicious to eat. Interestingly, the ice cream was reasonably priced. It was great cooling off and enjoying catching up with my friend.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

The cheesecake shop is located on N. Lamar in Crescent Plaza and focuses on takeout rather than dine-in service. I ordered their signature Japanese cheesecake, and it was delicious. Unlike traditional dense cheesecake, it was incredibly light, fluffy, and airy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The cheesecake featured a thin, creamy top layer that paired nicely with the soft, cloud-like texture underneath. Each bite melted in my mouth, making it unlike any cheesecake I have had before. It was both unique and completely satisfying. The shop itself is small and designed primarily for grab-and-go customers, with no seating area available.
