Entrance on Railroad Street had a much shorter line than the Union Street entrance. You get a tote bag, a wine glass and a tasting plate when you arrive. Wander for three hours tasting your favorite samples.. some vendors offered special discount coupons and a few places had items for sale.

These events can take place all across the city of Rochester, as there are many different experiences over the course of the festival. I've seen impressive large scale performances at the fringe festival such as a performance by Bandaloop on the side of five star city bank. I've also seen modernized Shakespeare as well as Drunk Shakespeare (Shotspeare). All of these experiences were top notch. I'd highly recommend attending at least one event each year! Check out the festival schedule early to grab your tickets for headliners before they sell out!

It contains a wealth of experience, knowledge & unique experience that highlights how valuable to the community it is. And it always has been. I've find childhood memories of frequent visits here with family, and my school. And hope whoever happens upon this humble review takes a chance and pays the RMSC a visit. As a day here, wandering the exhibits is a day well spent. Particularly with family.

I was surprised to see their Cafe was closed on a Saturday afternoon...very bizarre. But it is what it is. The price was a bit steep to be honest as well. On other experiences we've visited the planetarium which is excellent. Unfortunately they didn't have a show for us that day that we could make but it's OK. Definitely a great spot to visit with kids and the family for a nice afternoon.

The stage was in the middle of everything making it tough to watch since people were constantly walking through people. Everything was crowded and there wasn't any space designated to just chill. It felt like everyone was trapped in a relentlessly sunny corral. Hopefully in the future they'll consider some seating or at least including shaded areas.

So many of the display pieces were memories of our past, as well as things we had never seen! There was an absolutely FUN and interesting scavenger hunt that made everything even more interesting and focused. We earned a Jello pencil, which I will treasure for sure! Along with the postcards and photos too. Oh, and the recipes as well. Yep, I remember Poke cake, special holiday jellos, Jello Jigglers and found some more recipes to try too. The docents were great - they all knew so much and love jello as much as we do! We were excited to be able to buy cranberry jello - as we have never seen it in our stores. And they had other flavors to watch for and discover. This may be a small museum (with a downstairs that houses vehicles and transportation for jello production and distribution) but we could have spent more time here and enjoyed every minute! Super cute but a bit small museum showcases the history and culture behind its famous jiggle treat. Invented in 1897, super popular with their original flavors.. strawberry, raspberry, orange and lemon. I prefer lime myself! Lots of memorable though out the place. Huge spoons that were in NYC. Loved all the different marking campaigns over the years. From jell-o they moved on to pudding, and even Jell -o shots ! Something for everyone!

Local restaurants, shops, vendors and food trucks will offer a variety of food, merchandise and everything in between. There are over 20 food vendors that offer a dollar sample item (these are hearty portion sizes) along with regular priced menu items. Festival goers really can get a good taste of everything Rochester has to offer this way. There is also live music through out the venue and A main stage providing all types of music genera. This event is put on by the Summit Federal credit union and Tops Friendly market. The event is to raise awareness and funds for the Villa of Hope and Center for Youth! This was a fantastic event! Delicious food samples - my favorite being the bang bang shrimp from Bonefish Grill. Also some great music with my favorite artist being a 5/6 year old rapper. Anyone who likes food as much as I do should definitely attend next year!

Three day whiskey and music festival, at camp Eastman in Irondequoit. They said grab your glass…read moreand hold onto your hat, and boy they meant it! Three days of amazing music on two stages, Charles Wesley Godwin, moe, Tommy Brunetts all star cavalcade and Joan Jett and the blackhearts to name a few! Great seeing Lou Gramm a local favorite. Since it is a whiskey themed event, the world of whiskey was super popular, so many different distilleries showcased. Definitely an incredible experience sampling whiskeys from coast to coast. Iron smoke , Tin cup, den of thrives were some of my favorites. Other options were beers, wine and craft cocktails ... the old fashion was phenomenal! VIP area had a great viewing section and some lovely screwball cocktails... so smooth. Loved the fireside chats they offered, interesting to hear the different speakers talk about their process and love of what they do. Really hope this festival returns next year.. same spot too!!
