I am delightfully and surprisingly impressed with Ramona Nursing & Rehab. It is such a relief to know my father is with trusted and caring professionals. Almost everyone, even people in different stations, know my father by name. They staff will smile, greet you, and tend to your request quickly. They have a great team of healers including PT, OT, Speech therapy. And the administration is friendly as well. They are proactive and patient. The facility is clean and organized. Though the building is old and dated, you can see the effort they put in to keep it as comfortable as possible. Parking lot is always full weekdays. Weekends are much better, less staff at the facility, so more time for visitations.

They refuse to allow patients to use the bathroom because of their safety, and instead insist on…read moreusing diapers. they claim the patient might fall! Patients are there to recover and regain their mobility, right? But they would rather keep them confined to their beds or wheelchairs. Any questions are met with the same frustrating response of "I don't know." Our loved one left the facility after 6 weeks and still unable to walk independently.
