We order food from here maybe 1-3 times a month at work. Something is always wrong. Whether is a salad topping, missing dressing, something that was requested on the side is not on the side. However, today was the cherry on top. I had ordered a veggie wrap with no olives and some vinaigrette on the side. What I got was a vegetable sub covered in pickles and some sort of mayo or cheese. There are no pickles or cheese on the wrap. There was no balsamic anywhere. A sub has a lot more bread than a wrap (not what I wanted). I don't even know what it was that they gave me because there isn't even a veggie sub on the menu. Love the menu here! Lots of good choice and scratch made items. First of all their pita bread is insane - like indescribably good. Been ordering from here for 12+ years. Their primary selling point is that they deliver. The pizza has been getting steadily worse for years, and my last two orders were practically inedible, both from a taste perspective (tasteless and rubbery, including toppings), and from a physical perspective (the wet topping literally fell right off the soggy, flaccid crust into the box). There are too many better options nearby to justify ordering from here again. read more

We've been getting delivery from MVP for the past year. We received their menu in the mail and liked that it was so varied, so we gave them a shot. We've never looked back. They hit it on all notes: quality, consistency & customer service. MVP's food is always fresh and everything we've tried so far has been deelish. We've had various subs, pizzas and salads and really happy with all of them. When we ordered the fried chicken for the first time we were thrilled to bite into crisp, juicy chicken...what a find! Sides left room for improvement. Not always the same person on the phone but no matter who answers, they are polite and intelligent. Delivery always comes within range given and delivery person is appropriately friendly. Tonight they hit the mark and beyond. I have a love/hate relationship with tuna fish, if it's not mine I hate it, but I had a craving and we were ordering so I took a leap of faith. I was not denied. My tuna on pita with provolone was beyond expectations. The pita itself was thicker than the usual pita that is thin and often falls apart. Tuna fish, celery, mayo ratio was just right. The tuna fish and mayo used were a better quality than is typical. No cat food, fishy tasting, brown tuna and not that sickly sweet, miracle whippy mayo. First time in almost forever that I loved a tuna fish sandwich I ordered out!! When I called the guy taking my order double checked to be sure I didn't want any lettuce, tomato or onion...nice, he didn't have to. Not a big dessert eater, but I like a good cookie or brownie. Decided to try their brownie. Not home made, but boy they were good. Nice thin crust on top, moist and chocolaty inside, not too sweet. Keep up the good work MVP!! read more

A few months ago, I would have given 4 stars. The past several times we've ordered, something has gone really wrong. It's gotten to the point where this place, which was our first choice for delivery, is now not getting any of our business. 1. Major price spike. It's cheaper now to get steak tips takeout from the steak house in town. Errr??? 2. Their onion rings used to be great. Past 2 times we ordered, they weren't cooked, as in the crust was still batter, and the onions semiraw. Yuck! 3. Boneless buffalo wings. No sauce, no celery, no bleu cheese. Twice. 4. Boneless BBQ wings. No sauce at all. And they changed the chicken. It's not as good as it used to be. 5. Please stop frying french fries in the same oil as your fish, and change it more often. Fishy rancid French fries. Yuck! They serve breakfast, now. I think I'll pass. read more

We ordered dinner from Maynard Village Pizza tonight and everything was great! We had steak tips, broiled chicken and cheese steaks. The portions of chicken and steak tips very generous. We'll be having leftovers for lunch tomorrow! The tips were cooked just as I requested. The cheese steaks were good, although a little more cheese would have been nice. We'll just request extra next time we order though. The salads that came with the dinners were really nice too. I ordered online for delivery and it all arrived right on time. I used to order from this place all the time. for 3 weeks straight the only thing I could keep down was their ham and cheese sub. The last couple times I ordered from them, I was very disappointed. the first time they forgot to include my toasted sub in the order which took 40+ minutes to get here. then another 25 minutes for my sub to get here, so my toasted sub sat for well over an hour before I got it. it was cold and gross. the next time I ordered they forgot to toast the sandwich and put blue cheese dressing in with the dough babies. read more

I absolutely love their food. My boyfriend and I get it once a week. They have online ordering which is so convenient. The only problem I have is, EVERY time I go in, the owner or "boss" is screaming and SWEARING at someone. It's so unprofessional and rude to do in front of your customers. I hope he reads this because he needs to know, even if you are upset at your employee, act professional. You don't need to scream and curse in front of your customers. It makes me so very uncomfortable and makes me not want to give you my business. Please change your ways because I love this place and it makes my heart ache when you treat your employees poorly. read more

This place has some really good food, BUT when you look around the entire store is so dirty that it can't possibly be serving food items that have been prepared safely. Look at the fire sprinkler heads and ceiling tiles and you will walk out for sure. A shame because as I said the food I had from there was very good. read more

After being a loyal customer for a couple of years before and continuing during the pandemic, I experienced very poor customer service on several occasions that will prevent me from returning. The most recent was in purchasing a large order of "jumbo" Buffalo chicken wings and a calzone. At $22 for the wings, these were not only small, but there were only 16 in the box instead of 20. That made them $1.46 for each wing section! They did nothing to address the complaint saying it was due to a chicken 'shortage' and would not correct their error. The calzone was mostly bread and a poor reflection of previous times we ordered. They were arrogant, obnoxious and would do nothing to correct problems, only to deny it. On two other occasions, I ordered Buffalo wings and received undercooked ones on one occasion (but their machine never has problems!) and received fried wings on another (I must have made the mistake, not them, even though I ordered the same way I always did). When cooked properly and in the manner it was in the past, the food is good, but their extremely poor customer service does nothing but leave a bad taste in your mouth. Avoid until they improve to meet the standard they used to set. read more

Although you can sit in, you probably want to do take out (not the comfiest or prettiest place you'll ever be in) but if you are in the mood for really good fried chicken, great place to go. Large portions. Salads are pretty much what you get in any pizza joint (lots of lettuce). The pizza is okay but it's better if you go to Sorrento's in Acton or Concord. This is my first review for this establishment. All I have to say is outstanding! The pizza was delicious with that sweet sauce type of flavor which I love! The wings I got were honey hot barbecue and they were big and juicy! Absolutely love the flavor of them. I've been looking for a place around here that serves up some good wings and they've got it. They also threw in a garden salad for this coupon deal that I had which was massive and fresh as well. My family certainly will be partaking in this experience again! I've been coming here a few years now. While the pizza is good, the real attraction is their wings. Granted I haven't traveled outside of New England, but they serve the best damn Buffalo Wings and Honey BBQ Wings I've ever had. Even if thats not your thing, the menu is quite varied and even the pickiest children and food snobs should find something to their liking. We had an adventure just placing an order. The lady that took it must've just started or is really bad at taking orders. We got a call (a voicemail actually) 15-20 minutes after placing and confirming the order to call back. We did and they were all confused as to what we wanted and almost sent us a fish platter (I guess I'm happy they called to confirm). Out of 4 orders, 3 were incorrect/incomplete and the fourth one almost ended up being a fish platter instead of chicken. The steak and cheese subs were missing veggies even though we clearly asked for them. The chicken dinner was supposed to come with bbq sauce (NOT marinara!) and a salad (which there was none of). The think cut (steak) fries accompanying the chicken dinner were terrible. Wish it came with regular ones that we got for the platter, which were the only half way decent thing we ordered. read more

Bill's Pasta Meal was overloaded with 3 meats over ziti & a thick covering of cheese. This was baked, by the way, not just a layered heap like most other pizza places. After sampling every other pizza joint in the fair town of Maynard, we remained dissatisfied and decided to give MVP a shot despite the mixed reviews. We were impressed with their online ordering option, which turned out to be more trouble than it was worth, not recognizing coupons or giving us the promised 10% off our first online order. Still, we remained optimistic and added a $5 delivery tip to ensure goodwill on the part of the pizza folk. Then we waited. And we waited. And we waited some more. Nearly and hour later, the food arrived... lukewarm and undercooked. The onion rings tasted of batter and were so terribly flaccid that it took fifteen minutes in our over at 400 degrees just to make them edible. The pizza, though sufficiently sprinkled with breaded eggplant, had not been cooked long enough, or perhaps not at the correct temperature; the texture was all wrong; chewy, like a beef jerky; and it confused our tongues because it tasted all right. The greek salad was the only truly edible item we ordered, but once again the pita bread that came with it was essentially dough. It was more likely that they'd left it out in the sun than that it has ever seen the inside of an oven, If there's a silver lining here, it's the pizza. We stuck half of it in the fridge and had it cold the next morning for breakfast, at which point the texture wasn't as great an issue. So if you're in this for the cold, morning after pizza, then you're golden. If you're hungry now, I hope you're very drunk, indeed. You're gonna need more than a six-pack to give these guys a good review. read more
