Most disgusting Ruben I've ever had. The menu said it was grilled. It was not. It was "pressed" which every sandwich lover knows is not the same. So that's just false advertising. Because it was pressed the meat was cold, which is also just gross when you're talking about a Ruben. And for the finale, I'm not even sure that was real corned beef. I mean, it might have been, but I would like to talk to the distributor to be sure. Haven't had anything else and won't. But who knows, maybe they do straight pizza better. Really nice delivery driver, but our so-called "Classic Veggie" pizza was a huge disappointment. It was completely ruined by the eggplant being breaded and fried instead of freshly sliced and untreated. This isn't an insignificant detail. Rather, it should have been clearly marked in the menu. The oily breadcrumb texture was spread all over the pizza like ants in a log, and it kept us from eating more than a slice. The service here is awful. I ordered a salad to go and showed up at the time they said it would be ready. The woman who was working the cash register told me the order wasn't ready, so I sat around for another 20 minutes waiting for it. It turned out that my order was sitting there ready to go the whole time, but she didn't even bother to check. No one else came into the place for the entire time I was there, so she wasn't busy at all - she just couldn't be bothered to look for it. I was meeting a friend for a light lunch in Maynard and with so many choices on this Street, I picked Roasted Peppers. This is a little gem compared to most pizza shops. The floor is black and white checkerboard with about a dozen tables. My big thing is cleanliness and friendliness and you get them here. I decided on a simple pepperoni slice and it was excellent. A thin crispy crust with a generous distribution of pepperoni, not the few you get at the chains. I asked the owner what the secret was to his crust. He said it was a secret but since I used to make, and flip, pizzas long ago, I think I know. There's another pizza shop across the street but Roasted Peppers is a great bet. read more

I say I ordered a pizza on Yelp, being that was the app I ordered it on, the person at the counter says "really? I've never heard of that, we don't use that?!?!" There aren't enough characters to describe the rudest woman I have ever met. She took someone ahead of me despite me telling her I was picking up. Then on my way home she calls me to say she gave me the wrong order...needed to charge me more!!! To make a really horrible story short I told her with that attitude I won't be coming back...she replied That's FINE!!! I then asked what the owners name....she replied he's not here...I replied I didn't ask you if he was here....and after asking 2 more times for his name I stated to her you're not going to give me his name are you. This place is great. They have a wide variety of food and everything that I've tried so far has been delicious. Definitely get the Rajin Cajun panini if you are into hot sandwiches. Their wraps are also delicious and super filling. The salads are great. The only complaint I would have is they do not give you much dressing, but you can always ask for extra so that is not much of a drawback. Definitely would recommend having lunch there read more

Rajin' Cajun is absolutely AMAZING!! Wish it was a little bigger, I tend to still be a bit hungry after finishing it. Their menu has something for everyone, even my rather unadventurous father and my mother who has one of the most convoluted and neurotic diets I have ever witnessed. Me? I like the whole menu. unlike many other restaurants since maynard has started to become a more "trendy" place, I don't feel like I am being ripped off when I go here. The food isn't cheap, but it is reasonably priced. A large one topping pizza is now close to 20 dollars at most places here, with dinners the same. I stopped in for the first time the other week and really enjoyed my pizza. It's around $12 for a large and when he told me the price I was like wow! Thinking in my head I wonder how this will be. I was pleasantly surprised. For the price it is definitely a great deal! I liked the cheese they used, and didn't skimp on it either which I prefer.
