Thus, there isn't anything a dentist can tell me that I haven't already heard. That being said, it's really hard for me to find a dentist I like. Queue, The Bite Dental. Being that it is 2018, I found them on Instagram. I liked the decor, the attitude, etc., so I called and made an appointment. They emailed me the paperwork to fill out beforehand and send back. Great. I actually appreciate this, because who wants to sit around and fill out paperwork at 9:00AM? I met with Dr. E, the general dentist. Very sweet woman, but knows when to be serious. She recommended treatments for me, and gave me advice. Never tried to upsell me any treatment she didn't deem necessary. Susan their dental hygienist is an angel. Extremely charismatic and knows her stuff. I've gone to hygienist who recommend deep cleanings and full mouth debridement that weren't needed. My only qualm is their hours. They're open M-F from 9:00AM-5:00PM which makes it difficult for corporate employees to get appointments. Hopefully they'll open up Saturdays in the near future to cater to that crowd. But if you're in the market for a new dentist, who knows the latest technologies and is honest. The dentists at The Bite Dental are the dentists for you!

It may be locked but there's a keypad to dial the office or usually someone will come by and let you in. You take the elevator up to the 6th floor and their office is located all the way at the end of the hallway, last door to the right. Now the you know where to go, I can rave about how much I love this dental office. I've been coming here for years but this was my first time back for a cleaning since 2018. Anxious was an understatement because I know my flossing habits could be better. When you come into the office, everything is super clean and they block off some chairs in the small waiting room to try and help people be at a safe social distance. There is also hand sanitizer available at the front desk. The dental hygienist took my x-rays and proceeded to do a gum number exam. I was a bit inflamed and she warned me that I would bleed during the cleaning. She offered topical anesthesia so it wouldn't be too painful. Thank goodness for that! After my cleaning, I waited for Dr. Henao to check my teeth and explain my x-rays. I absolutely adore her and am never terrified to see her, even with bad flossing habits. She did an exam and went over any concerns I had. I asked for some advice on the best toothbrush to use and was thankful that she gave very simple instructions. Sometimes I feel like dental offices try to sell the latest electric toothbrushes or water piks but she just said to keep up good habits while using a soft brush. A quick and easy visit, my favorite kind! I have also gotten cavity fillings here before and nobody loves those but I remember being very grateful with how they handled it. That needle is big but they care for all their patients with a gentle hand. So grateful for this office & all of its staff!

HIPPA laws only required two person specific identifiers not six or more as this practice requires. In addion, HIPPA laws not not require any medical office to photocopy your drivers license. In Florida the patient has the right to refuse the collection of sensitive data by FL law 501.705 In addition this office misleads the patient with the listing of Christopher Schiller as an employee; in reality he is an independent contractor. Why is his name printed on the door along with the other dentists if he's an independent contractor? And why does his business card say Miramar Modern Dentistry if he is indeed an independent contractor? Refusing to see a senior patient is highly unethical using the excuses provided by this dental practice.

Unfortunately I needed a deep cleaning and my one and only crown to be replaced...again...for the fourth time. This dentist is super gently and is genuinely caring and efficient. Let's face it, nobody likes the dentist, right? I am telling you that this guy is excellent and super gentle. He injects with a lot of ease and caution. He's also pretty proficient and knows his task and has a great bedside manner. Why didn't I rate it a perfect 5 stars? One reason, no matter what your appointment time is, there is always a wait. Sometimes it's 30 minutes but I have been here where it was an hour wait after my appointment time! That's my only little complaint, which is minimal in my opinion. Great dentist and highly recommended but take note that an hour or two wait is not uncommon!
