I love my dentist. I love my hygienist. I love the people at the reception, I love the assistants and I love them all. Sure, Miracle Smile is bit more expensive than other dentists I've been before, ven after insurance has kicked in, but you need your teeth, you wouldn't want them to fail you because you failed them. Dr. Anna Aller has great bedside manners and explains everything perfectly from the first visit, so you have a perfect plan for your mouth from the beginning, and it is carried out with the greatest care. Melissa, the hygienist, goes above and beyond to make you comfortable... sometimes she makes you laugh so hard your cleaning takes a bit longer while you manage to re-open your mouth, but she does do a spectacular job. She sometimes makes going to the dental office the highlight of your day. The administrative team is also great. All the appointments are scheduled with care, so if you're on time for your appointment, the drs usually see you right away. Not two hour from now, but now. They work with you and your insurance with no hassle, and even sometimes work with you to get payment plans going without hiccups. Valerie has always been helpful and nice, and the lady (I forgot her name now) that has helped me now that she's on maternity leave has been equally nice and helpful. If any of you reads enough of my reviews, you already know what I mean when I say my only complaint is "Coral Gables". For the rest of you: parking. Yes, there are spots with meters all over, but finding one empty is where the trick is. It is easier than in other areas of Coral Gables, but still a drag. I have been to two other dentists in my time in Miami, and they were truly horrendous. I didn't even realize that being seated in a waiting room for an hour after your appointment was supposed to begin and getting spammed with emails and text message offers from said dental office was not the norm (because I just assumed that's what everything is like in Miami, oops). I didn't have high expectations when a coworker suggested this office to me, but she and her husband had been visiting Dr. Aller for years and trusted her with everything teeth related - plus, the office boasted flexible scheduling. After over a year of avoiding dentist visits, I figured it was time to throw in the towel - I set up an appointment for 6:30pm, and though this is after their standard hours, they were happy to accommodate. The day came, and I was running late out of a meeting. Everything was going wrong, and to top it off, traffic was horrendous (when is it not in this area of town though, what with the everlasting sidewalk construction), despite attempting to sidewind through the residential streets. I spoke with the receptionist, who was super understanding, and they were waiting for me when I finally ran in at 7:30pm. They didn't seem impatient, and they didn't rush me at all as I filled in the new patient paperwork. There wasn't time for Dr. Aller to visit with me, but she did let the hygienist know what info to pass along to me. The hygienist was incredibly personable and made my entire experience laid-back and enjoyable as can be considering the poking and prodding). The x-rays are done in front of you, so you can see the cavities as they do, and she was quick to answer the questions I had during the process. I am such a fan of her, and the receptionist, and I'm know I'm going to love Dr. Aller the next time I come in. As I was leaving, I was handed a bag with toothpaste, toothbrush, pamphlets, etc. Like a little dentist present! Due to the hour, we weren't able to figure out my insurance coverage and I did pay out of pocket for the whole visit - the staff called me back in the weeks following to let me know that they have the refund waiting for me because, even if it slipped my mind, they are on top of their customer service. I've already booked my next appointment at Miracle Smile! Note, this dental office does share their space with other businesses, and there is no private lot - just street parking. read more

I originally found Miracle Smile Dentistry through Groupon.com. I had just moved to the area and had no idea where to find a good dentist. I received x-rays and teeth cleaning from the hygienist. The hygienist thought that I might need a "deep cleaning," which would cost extra. I was really worried. But then when the dentist herself came to check my teeth, she thought they were great and told me a regular cleaning was fine. No extra fees. I was very pleased that the dentist was honest and happy that I didn't have to pay anything extra. I have heard from family members and friends that newer, younger dentists are quick to insist on a "deep cleaning." But, I had no problem here. Staff and dentist were wonderful. I haven't had any complicated procedures like implants, crowns, etc. so I can't comment on that. read more

Had my latest cleaning here as I found out they accept my insurance. Dr. Aller is very professional and thorough. She puts your X-rays up on the TV and goes over it with you. The hygienist (didn't catch her name) is very nice and gentle. Cleaning was pretty quick. Before leaving, they give you a little goodie bag with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Firstly this office offers discounts for positive review so treat all 5 Stars with a grain of salt. The office is fraudulent they will always say theyre participating with whatever insurance you have. Only after wards will they charge you the full inflated amount of the procedure advising you theyre non-par with your insurance. Its a trick they've been using for awhile, whether on purpose or just garden variety incompetence. For example they say theyre in network with BCBS then charge you $660 for a xray that cost $150 without insurance, with a "Oh we're not in network with your insurance" post procedure. One of my crowns fell out on July 4th My existing dentist was on vacation. So I went online looking for a dentist open on Saturday and they popped up as having Saturday hours I called their office number and someone picked up immediately. I explained my situation and they explained that they were closed but the emergency dentist could help me out if I could get there within an hour. I went in and everyone was amazing. They were able to save my crown and re-cement it in. They explained the cost upfront so there would be no surprises after the work was complete. I first went to this place a few years ago when I realized that the equipment that they were going to use on me was dirty. They apologized and used another one. I wasn't planning on ever going back there. But then, after having a bad experience with another dentist (Gables Exceptional Dentistry) and a friend recommending this place, I was ready to give it another chance since it's so close to my work. To my disappointment, they refused to give me an estimate in advance of my visit. I asked twice for an estimate in advance (after sending them my insurance information, and records and X-rays from just a few days earlier) and they said that they couldn't tell me what the doctor was going to see so they couldn't tell me "anything." They expect patients with insurance to receive treatment first and then surprise them with a bill. In other words, they expect patients to give them a blank check. WORST SERVICE EVER. I came to my appt 20 minutes early expecting to fill out the usual paperwork. When I walked in the receptionist was on the phone and failed to even acknowledge my existence. Fast forward almost 40 minutes later and I'm still waiting. I get up to go to the front desk and ask what's going on as I can clearly hear a group of people having personal conversations meanwhile I'm still here waiting to be called in for my appt. No sooner have I stood up when the receptionist gets up and walks away. The ONLY reason I came back here was because they removed 2 wisdom teeth and I wanted the other 2 removed as well. Dr Anna Aller does not know what she is doing. i went to miracle smile to get a simple filling the next day i could not eat out of the left side of my mouth because of the pain. she told me to come back to fix the problem so i came back to get them refilled again i had the same pain. so she tells me to come in for a 3rd time and says she can not find the problem i might just need cleaning. After the cleaning i go to the front desk and a guy tells me that would be $50 i give him this crazy look and tell him why am i paying for something the Dr was supposed to do right the first time. He had the audacity to look me dead in my face and tell me this is not a place where you can get freebies if your looking for that you need to find another dentistry. my response was if you paid for a service you would expect it to be done right then he said i should give $20 and i said i don't have it and left. to let everyone know all of this happened within a year and i still can't eat on my left side till this day. read more
