Let me start off by saying that this place and the person who runs this establishment is the worst I have ever encountered. Mayra is the most irresponsible person in the industry. My wife and I hired her to marry us at a different location. We went to her office, did the paperwork, and she was happy to take our money. However, on the day of the event, she never showed up. What kind of heartless BITCH does that? I called the office, and they kept telling me that she was already on her way, but it turns out she had double-booked that day and left us completely out to dry. We tried contacting her for a total refund, but we were never able to collect it. Please, do not trust this lady or this establishment. There are better places out there with people of more integrity. I wish nothing but the worst for this horrible person. read more

My friend had a ceremony here and still not received the marriage paper after 4 months past. So they checked up with this old scam woman Mayra and turns out she forgot to send out my friend paper and even requested for more money for her to do this after they paid everything in the beginning already. if i could give no stars I would this was a horrible service she arrived two hours late to my moms ceremony and still had to finish one service prior to ours, very unprofessional she is a very old lady who needs to be retired. On top of the horrible service she did not sign nor notarize my moms marriage license, so she went back to get it signed and she got upset and mayra started yelling at her and told her she'll sign it whenever she wants to and send it whenever she wants to and slammed the window shut in my moms face(not the door) because she didn't even open the door. Police had to be called to get at least a copy of the papers before she finally signs them and sends them. Do not recommend going to this lady a rude person and horrible service. read more

Mayra is so rude and unprofessional. I called to ask if I can have a copy of a document when we got married. She told me to pay $30 for the search. I went to the office to pay, she doesn't wanna accept card at first. She said the machine is not working. But then I told her I dont have cash and she tried the machine and worked the first time. While I was writing down the information needed for the search, she received a call and she was rude on the other person she is talking to. I kept quiet since some of it in Spanish and I don't understand. Then I left. After 2 days I called to know if they already found it. She put me on hold for a long time and when we got to talk she said I need to pay $50 because it's difficult for her to find it. I said we had an agreement. Then she answered me back with "Don't argue with me, I need the money and you need the papers. So pay for it or I'll throw it in the garbage". And she started saying bye, again and again and hanged up. The next day I went to pick it up. I brought $20 in cash and now she didnt even make me a copy of the whole thing. She just gave me a page and she took the $20, when I'm asking for the receipt she didn't want to give it. She told me to come back the next day for the receipt because she is busy and started complaining. I insisted that why she gave it. This lady is all about money. The place says a lot about being good and all religious.. but definitely this is nothing but a business that wants money. read more

Very unprofessional! Mayra was 2 hours late to the wedding ceremony! Arrived with no worry in the world and no explanation as to why she was so late. She never let us know she would be late and we tried to get in contact with her to find out where she was and she never answered. Several family members called her cell phone, her office, sent text messages, and left numerous voicemails to try and assist with getting in contact with her. She is definitely only in it for the money. I would NEVER book their services. Mayra is so unprofessional and then does NOT even allow the bride to have her ceremony the way she requested. Very good service, husband and wife team, both are super nice. Very quick, convenient and easy quick wedding. My fiance and I basically needed to get this done fairly quick to get me on her health insurance, and they were able to notarize and fax the marriage license to Kaiser immediately. They also didn't charge us extra for the witness cost! Would def highly recommend them to anyone looking to get hitched! Lastly, the cost was lower than anyone else my fiance found in the LA area, and so we were wondering if it would be a cheap/shady spot, but the chapel was actually nice and clean and decorated nice, and the "minister" and her soon to be husband (now I'm remembering they are engaged, not married yet) were super nice, and she even performed a nice wedding ceremony while he took pics of it for free (w/our camera phones). We got married there and it was a very charming ceremony. Nice little chapel space with about 20 seats, silk flower bouquets, and a warm hearted ceremony for our special day. Horrible services very unprofessional the owner Mayra was hire to file my divorce 7/18/18 promising a quick and easy divorce a total price was discuss and a down payment was made. For several weeks I was trying to find out the status of the case and trying to pay the remainder balance this lady was never found she wouldn't answer my calls or tex. After giving it a rest, she finally called me back stating if I didn't pay she wouldn't move forward with my divorce. After making several appointments to meet with her she was never at her office. I finally got a hold of her secretary who was nice enough to take my payment so my divorce would be finalized. A month later I got the divorce papers back from the court stating they were not complete and additional information was needed. When I called the owner Mayra she asked me to take them back to her and to pay additional $100 so they can fix their mistake. Once I told her it wasn't my mistake and it wasn't fair for her to charge me more this scarecrow got mad and started to scream and threaten she will not file if I didn't pay her right there and then. This lady is extremely rude once you start asking her questions about the case come to show she does not know what she is doing even her staff admitted and agree with me that she was wrong and unfair to charge me more but will not mention anything afraid to be fire by this horrible lady. Please run the other way and you will avoid this kind of issue. Please do your research. read more

We just did our California legal marriage ceremony today and it was effortless. It's a family owned and very warm spot. They did a non-denominational wedding for us and it was brief but very meaningful. I definitely recommend this chapel for quick turn around of civil ceremony, certification, and notarization. The rate is also one of the cheapest in town. I hired their services in Dec. 2007 and paid the $800.00 fee + additional fee. I waited 6 mos not hearing anything from them and when I spoke to Linda she said they have to file again bec"Oscar" who took my case apparently had messed up, so I paid additional $100.00. I trusted her and every time I will follow up the first thing she will ask is "have you paid your balance?" without even looking at my file and check what have they done. From July to Dec 2008 I regularly called them to follow up until I spoke to Linda's mother and when she has no answers to my inquiries she put the phone down on me. On January 2009 I sent Linda a letter with copies of the receipts they gave me as proofs of my payment. I have to send a letter because every time I call they don't entertain my calls anymore. Two months after I have to file my divorce again by hiring another company and had to pay another $700 to start over. Yes they talk very sweetly and nice when you inquire but in my case THEY FAILED TO DELIVER, not even a call or explanation. What a shame to even have pictures of saints and Gods in their office. Just be CAUTIOUS in dealing with them is all I say. read more
